58 Chapter 57

(AN: Let me just say this. Not everyone is being turned into a dragon. Only those he trusts and sees worthy. Also, there is no chance that they will betray him because he has complete control over them.)

"How have you been, Hokori?" Hakai asked him, smiling.

Hokori smiled back. "Good. I claimed a few territories under marine control for us and also looked over the islands that are producing us metal."

"Oh? How was it?" Hakai said as the two began walking towards their crew base.

"Good. The next shipment of metal should arrive here soon, but there is one problem. I've spotted members of the Big Mom Pirates and Beast Pirates lurking around the islands. They're only grunts, but I dealt with them accordingly."

"That is a problem. Did you at least figure out why they were there?"

"I don't think they were working together, but they were definitely curious about the metal you produce, captain, and were looking to steal some. Can you imagine? Maybe I should've made their deaths more painful..."

Hakai laughed as they entered the base where the girls were located and lazing about. "Next time tell them that if they want some, the price is now multiplied by 10."

Their base set up was massive since it was made so they could relax in their dragon forms without any problem.

Because of this, most of the girls were in their dragon forms. Hancock was in her dragon form which resembled that of a snake, but it was very much a dragon, similar to eastern dragons.

Hokori transformed into his dragon form too along with Hakai. His dragon form was white with tufts of hair along its head and parts of its body. His eyes also changed to become blue as his body released blue sparks.

Each and every original member of the crew controled a fleet of their own that have members recruited by the captains of these fleets.

For example, Makino controled a fleet of mainly fighters. Kaya controlled an undead fleet, meaning her fleet was actually made by her. Nojiko controlled a fleet that mainly use ranged attacks. Robin controlled a fleet that isn't focused on offense, but rather knowledge and info gathering. They can still fight though if needed. Hancock finally had her own fleet which consisted of her sisters and members of the now disbanded Kuja Pirates.

It is good to note though that the members of these fleets are not dragons. Only the captains are dragons.

While Makino, Kaya, Nojiko, Robin, and Hancock do have their own fleets, Hokori is really the only one that actively controls his fleet and goes with them.

The girls prefer to just order their fleet and then leave them alone.

"What are you planning to do now?" Hakai asked Hokori.

"Get some more islands under our territory, but if you have something else in mind, I'll gladly do it."

"That's fine. For now, why don't we enjoy a feast?"

Hokori smiled. "Please. Also, one more thing. While we were out on the sea, we encountered a member of the Whitebeard Pirates. Portgas D. Ace was his name if I remember correctly."

'Hmm? Is Ace looking for Blackbeard? Then that means the Marineford war is happening soon.'

"Did anything happen?"

Hokori shook his head flying down. "No, but he did ask us if a pirate named Blackbeard passed through here. Other than that, there was no conflict."

'Huh, so Ace is searching for Blackbeard...'

Hakai ordered the workers to prepare a feast. He was liked by all the people on the island as he provided them food, housing, and everything they could want by just working and processing metal.

"As long as the Whitebeard Pirates don't cause trouble we have no reason to cause trouble so ignore them."

Hokori nodded as he transformed back into his dragon form, sitting down at the large, and long table as the workers placed a plate of food in front of him.

Hakai called the girls if they wanted to eat, but apparently they weren't hungry as they giggled amongst themselves.

The days passed and a newspaper fell on top of Hakai's head. "Damn these newspapers. Are they ninjas?!"

Hakai opened up the newspaper and he lifted up his eyebrows at what he read.

/Fire-Fist Ace of the Whitebeard Pirates has been captured and sentenced to public execution at Marineford./

Hakai smiled as he called the members of his crew. "If we head out now, we should be able to make it in time for the war."

"You called?" Makino asked, sitting down on the couch.

Kaya and Robin appeared together, Hokori appearing next, and then Kaya and Hancock.

"There's going to be a war happening in Marineford and we're joining," Hakai declared. "Prepare the ships."

"Finally! It's gotten sooo boring here," Makino said.

The girls agreed, nodding along as they left the base and went out to the main ship, Hiryo.

Hokori chose to go with his fleet ship while the girls went on the main ship.

As they departed for Marineford, Hakai wasn't stupid to leave the island alone with no one watching over it, so he had Kaya summon an undead dragon that could watch over the island and alert her if there were any intruders.

And so, the Dragon Pirates were off.

Hiryo, the largest of the ships was leading the way.

"Sir, we've recieved reports that the Dragon Pirates have set off for Paradise."

"Now why would he come here?

"Sir, maybe it's for the execution of Portgas D. Ace?"

"Why? Do the Whitebeard Pirates and the Dragon Pirates have an alliance? As far as I know, he has no reason to come here to Marineford."
