57 Chapter 56

Hakai wasn't quite sure what the name of the island was, but since it was unoccupied, he just named it.

Under Hakai, the island's new name was now 'Dragon's Nest.'

Dragon's nest is a big Island, big enough to have 3 distinct climates. The northern part of the island is a winter expanse covered in snow and is currently uninhabited. The south-side of the island is a hot desert that some people decided to live in. The capital of the island is right in the center of it. It had a tropical climate, and was where most residents of the island lived in under Hakai's control.

There's also a man made river, made by Hakai himself that has a current that passes straight through the capital city of the island. This was so trade was easy and ships could dock directly at the island if they so wished.

Currently, Hakai was meeting with a certain Yonko with red hair.

---

Shanks laughed as he chugged the glass of rum. "I like you, Hakai. Don't you guys like him?"

He asked his crew, making them laugh.

"Calm down with the drinks, captain. You're really drunk right now."

"Don't tell me what to do." Shanks hiccuped as he looked at Hakai. "So what are you planning to do? Get the One Piece?"

Hakai shook his head. He wasn't really interested in the One Piece and seeing how the anime portrayed it, the One Piece was most likely the history of what happened in the Void Century, and what the ancient weapons were. Hakai wasn't really a history person, but he might go check it out. If he tried hard enough, he had no doubt that he could easily find it.

"I'm not really interested about that. Anyway, what is your reason for coming here? You interrupted me in my daily check-in." Hakai asked.

The check-in that Hakai was talking about was the things that his various islands did to make him money, and that was selling metal, but it wasn't ordinary metal. Hakai sold metal that was infused with his draconic-energy, making them stronger, yet still malleable enough for blacksmiths to use them.

Since he was the only supplier, he controled the price. Hakai was careful on who he was selling it to, increasing the price accordingly if they were someone that he deemed dangerous like say a fellow Yonko since this metal is one of the strongest in the entire world.

"Nothing. We just wanted to inspect the place and see if you're dangerous. So far, I think you're fine and you even have Makino in your crew. That one surprised me quite a bit," Shanks chuckled. "Also, about the metal you are selling, is it possible for us to buy some?"

Hakai had to think carefully. This was a double-edged sword, but it could benefit both of them if handled correctly. "Hmm, I'll let you buy some, but under one conditions, you cannot sell them. If I find out you are selling them, I will personally come after your crew."

Hakai released a large amount of killing intent paired together with his Conqueror's Haki. It was a terrifying combo that would make most people pass out, but these weren't most people. They were part of the Red-Haired Pirates.

"That's fine with me. So how much?" Shanks asked, unaffected by the aura that Hakai was releasing while his crewmates had small beads of sweat.

Hakai smiled, leading them to the warehouse that he kept the metal in.

Some time passed and Hakai gave the metal to the Red-Haired Pirates, and they promptly paid the price quickly leaving the island.

---

"Captain, what do you think of the captain of the Dragon Pirates?"

"We should do our best to not be his enemy. If you saw how he was, he never once considered us a threat and didn't even care if we had our weapons," Shanks answered.

---

Along with producing metal to sell, Hakai recruited a new person to his crew, a man.

This man was one of the slaves that he freed from Mary Geoise, and he insisted on joining his crew.

Hakai wasn't sure if he should accept the man or not, so he accepted him, saying how he had 30 days to prove why he should accept him.

The man gladly accepted, working hard in those 30 days and proving to Hakai that he should be accepted.

After the 30 days had passed, Hakai was thoroughly impressed. The once weak, and frail man had changed. His body was absolutely shredded his strong muscles popping out as they were covered in sweat.

Hakai was so impressed with the man's transformation that he accepted him into his crew, and made him commander of a fleet. Not only that, Hakai turned him into a dragon, forged him a weapon, and taught him Haki.

Under Hakai's rigorous training, the man grew even stronger until he was finally ready to lead a fleet.

Hakai instructed the man to find people that he thought would do well in the crew and invite them to join the fleet.

The man, whose name is Hokori could be considered a captain just underneath Hakai, but on equal standing with the girls since he has the authority to lead his own fleet recruiting anyone he liked.

And right now, Hokori was heading back to Dragon's Nest, the large city being informed of their arrival.

"Hokori of the Dragon Pirates is back!" a bystander yelled out.

"Look! It's Hokori. Someday, I want to join the Dragon Pirates," a kid said to his friend.

"Stupid, we can't get accepted. We're too weak."

---

Hakai greeted Hokori with a hug, having to lower himself a tiny bit since there was a 3 feet height difference.

Hokori stood at 7 foot and had long white hair. He was topless with various tattoos on his arm, chest, and side. His eyes were gold and he wore the head of an oversized wolf on his head. Covering his lower half was a type of tribal clothing that originated from his culture before he was forcefully enslaved.
