"Why don't you guess? Kong, former Fleet Admiral of the Marines."

Kong raised his eyebrow. "You look pretty young. I'm surprised you know that, but knowledge or an unusual devil fruit isn't enough to beat me."

Golden fur started to emerge from Kong's body as his face changed into that closer to a monkey's. "You're not the only one with a devil fruit."

(AN: This is all original and made up. Currently, Kong's powers are unknown, so I have decided to take the liberty of giving him suitable abilities based off his position. Having the name Kong, I thought it would be perfect to give him a monkey fruit, but of course this isn't an ordinary devil fruit.)

'So he has a monkey devil fruit? I was wondering what his abilities were, but a monkey devil fruit perfectly suits him,' Hakai thought.

Kong finished his transformation and charged towards Hakai, lifting up his leg and aiming to kick his head.

Hakai dodged the kick, countering with a sword attack as he swung his sword at Kong's body, but the attack was blocked by Kong's haki.

'Tsk, seems this sword isn't strong enough even with haki... Should I take out Kyo? No... I must have faith that my Zanpakuto will awaken soon.'

To aid in attacking, Hakai coated the sword with void energy allowing him to damage Kong, but if he were wielding Kyo, the damage would be even greater.

The 2 clashed repeatedly, creating loud shockwaves that destroyed the area around him.

Civilians of Mary Geoise have already been instructed to leave the area as soon as possible and head to one of the many safety bunkers set up, but there were some people that didn't leave, specifically reporters.

"Leave?! This'll get me the raise that I finally need. Dragon Pirates returning from their mysterious disappearance and one of the Seven Warlords are with them? Not only that, the Dragon Pirates are attacking Mary Geoise, the city of the Celestial Dragons. This is perfect."

The shockwaves from the attacks created gusts of wind that were strong enough to blow people away.

"Should we not help Hakai?" Hancock asked as the gusts of wind made her hair flap in the wind.

"Hancock, you're new to the crew, so you weren't here when we went to the dungeon, but I'm sure Hakai had tougher enemies during our time there, so don't worry about him. Worry about yourself instead."

A kick to the head was dodged by tilting his head to the side. Another attack was coming, this time heading for his stomach. Instead of dodging or blocking, Hakai chose to deflect the attack with his sword, pushing the attack away with the sharp side of his sword, simultaneously deflecting the attack and damaging the attacker.

"Is that it?" Hakai asked. "You might as well have not transformed."

"How dare you?! You're strong I'll give you that and it's been awhile since I've went serious so I'll thank you for that."

Kong plucked a piece of golden hair in his ear, and applied his haki on it making it black. "Expand."

The strand of hair became thicker about the width of a sword hilt.

"Extend." The piece of hair responded to his words extending to the same height as Kong.

"A pole?" Hakai said. "And it seems it can change its shape upon command."

"This isn't just normal hair. This is my strongest hair." Kong swung the hair, now pole towards Hakai, twirling it as he he changed its size over and over again making his attacks unpredictable.

"I don't know how I feel about your strongest hair being in your ear."

Kong used the pole masterfully, attacking Hakai from every angle and with the nature of the pole, he could even use it in odd ways that he has mastered during his time when he was more active and fighting before the Great Age of Pirates.

He wasn't just limited to extending the pole's length and shrinking it. By changing the side it shrinks from, Kong could use the pole to 'pull' him as its length shrinks, or 'push' him away as its length increases.

Hakai had a grin on his face as the pole made contact with the side of his waist, but because of his incredible durability and the strength of his haki, it simply bounced off making a metallic sound.

'I can feel it. My soul is starting to stir...'

"Void Slash!" Hakai swung his sword, a pitch black energy trailing behind it and heading towards Kong.

The nature of Kong's fighting style made it hard to close in, so Hakai decided to fire out a few ranges attacks.

In the Pangaea castle, a gigantic castle where the World Government works and meets. This place is where the Five Elders, and Commander-in-chief Kong work and where the Levely takes place where the rulers of the various World Government Nations meet every four years.

The Five Elders were currently meeting in a room.

"What is happening outside? Who is causing all that noise?"

"I too wonder as well. It's been a while since someone was brave enough to cause trouble in Mary Geoise."

"It's a group of pirates. One of the marines told me and can you believe it that these group of pirates haven't even entered the New World?"

"Preposterous. Paradise Pirates dare attack Mary Geoise? What has Kong done about it?"

"He is currently fighting the captain I believe, but he sure has grown weaker... It's taking him a bit to defeat his opponent."

"Or maybe it's not that, but the opponent is stronger than him."
