49 Chapter 48

Down deep below the decks of the ship in the core room was a giant black orb. This was by far the thing that took Hakai the longest thing to create. It was a core completely made of solid draconic energy and he was planning to enchant it, why?

This was because enchantments have a limitation per say. The bigger the object to enchant, the more energy it would take. Also, the material that is being enchanted also matters. Wood can be enchanted, but if the enchantment is too strong the item has the possibility of breaking which is why Hakai went through all this effort to condense and solidify his energy.

First, he added the basic enchantments. Better durability, faster movement in the water, also an enchantment to control the weight of the ship so it could move faster. This mechanic could also work as a brake of sorts since if he increased the weight of the ship it would dramatically slow down.

Next, the first big enchantment for the ship, flying.

"Gain the ability to fly like the metal dragon you are!"

The giant orb glowed white as it absorbed Hakai's energy.

The next enchantment would be an enchantment focused on defense. Hakai already planned 2 enchantments for this with the last one being a last resort.

"Become our guardian, Hiryo!"

A barrier appeared around the ship, stopping anyone from getting close. This barrier was white in color and was transparent, but it was still visible. Hakai turned off the barrier as he did the last defensive enchantment.

This last enchantment was simple, but complex. With this enchantment, Hakai connected the ship to his void realm and gave it the ability to go there, taking anyone that is currently on the ship at the time.

It was a simple, yet effective move since as far as Hakai knew, he is the only one capable of entering or leaving his realm other than the ship of course.

Now for the fun enchantments focused on offense.

The first thing that Hakai did was connect the core to all the cannons on the ship so instead of firing cannonballs, the cannons would fire bursts of draconic energy.

This wasn't the best part of the ship though. Hakai connected the core to the front of the ship where the dragon figurehead was located and then connected the core to the rear of the ship where there was a dragon head that had its mouth open was located.

The front dragon figurehead was actually a cannon, and the strongest one out of all of them. Hakai didn't want to test it out since he was pretty sure that the blast that the cannon would make is strong enough to destroy islands and blast a hold straight through the red line.

The dragon head at the rear however isn't meant for attacking, but it can be used for offense since the dragon head would spurt out draconic energy and act as a jet thruster propelling the ship forward.

Done with enchanting the core of the ship, he moved on to other minor enchants in the ship like adding a gravity changing function in the training room, making the storage room in the kitchen timeless so food and ingredients wouldn't rot and spoil. The bathroom had a self-cleaning function, actually the whole ship had a self cleaning function making it probably the cleanest ship in One Piece.

"It's done. You guys can come in now," Hakai said, greeting the girls on the top deck of the ship.

The girls were excited and looked around their new ship.

"Wow~ Look! This couch is so biig~"

"There's a hottub?! Not to mention there's also a sauna, and a swimming pool?!"

"Wow look! My room has another room I can store my pets in!" Kaya summoned one of her souls that she took a liking of.

"Hello Akuma, Akira, and Aki!" Kaya said, petting the three headed dog that she summoned.

"Library? Where'd you get the books? Wow, a bar, but you don't drink alcohol..." Makino pointed out as she stared at Hakai.

"Well someone might join our crew that likes alcohol, who knows?" Hakai replied. "Anyway, I think we've spent too much time on this island, it's time we head off and announce to the world that the Dragon Pirates are back!"

Hakai had to admit, he was a bit worried that Robin would betray them because of Cipher Pol, but it didn't happen which Hakai found a bit odd since Robin should've been found by the Cipher Pol immediately so he did some digging and found that Robin had dealt with them herself.

She wasn't weak anymore and she had more than enough strength to deal with the Cipher Pol and with her being in Hakai's crew, she had a family.

The girls smiled. "Let's go then!"

"Ahh wait, where are we going exactly?" Nojiko asked with a worried face. "The log pose is pointing over there, so why are we heading to this direction?"

"It's because if we head that direction, we'll end up at Sabaody Archipelago and I don't want to go to the new world yet. Not until we get the next member of our crew!"

All the girls raised their eyebrow. "Is it another girl? Who is it?"

"The Pirate Empress! Boa Hancock!"
