43 Chapter 42
(AN: I've thought about some stuff.
Those in favor of public dungeons, comment on this.

I personally don't mind, and I think it's a cool dynamic on the One Piece world that will really change the world meaning I'll have a lot more freedom on how I do things.
Basically, right now in One Piece, people are limited to haki, or devil fruits to become strong, and the dungeons change the One Piece world because of their rewards system.
Also, for those saying why the MC would want people to get other people other than his crew to get strong, I mean why not? He needs strong enemies to progress and he wouldn't mind a challenge.
Onto some other things, Hakai isn't limited to one world for a year. It's that he has the choice to leave after 1 year, meaning once going to a different world, he'll have to stay there for at least a year.
The main point of this AN was to address the dungeon situation. Either make it public or private. I can change it whenever and the story can continue since the crew was going in either way.)
Hakai kept exploring the jungle around him, looking for something that would lead him to the next level.
As he explored, beasts would constantly attack him which was annoying, but he finished them all off in one attack.
One thing he figured out though was that the energy that came off the beasts that he could absorb was actually Aether, and if he absorbed enough of them, which he found was the number 13, he would get an Aether Coin, 1 Aether Coin.
It wasn't a lot, but it was the first aether coin that he didn't receive from missions.
One of the things that he tried was exiting the dungeon, but like the dungeon said, it wouldn't be that easy to leave.
"I probably have to reach a certain level or something."

The members of Hakai's crew were doing quite well in the first level like Hakai.
Like Hakai, they waited and waited for the others to appear, but once they realized that no one was coming, they decided to move on and try to meet up with each other.
Makino was in a vast plain that had burrows everywhere. Rabbit-like creatures would leave these burrows and for the most part, stay away from her, but sometimes, big rabbits with dark fur would leave and these were much more aggressive and would attack her on sight. Upon defeating these rabbits, they would disappear into a burst of energy, but unlike what happened to Hakai, this energy didn't get absorbed by Makino.
Kaya was in a forest, not that far from Makino, but still far enough that they couldn't just stumble upon each other. She currently had a pack of wolves following behind her. These wolves were of course resurrected temporarily and would follow her every command.
Nojiko was in a snowy place in the north. Since snow was just frozen water particles, this would be the best place for her, but controlling water didn't mean give her any immunity to the cold, and unlucky for her, she didn't have any clothes suitable for winter weather. She had her bow out and by controlling the frozen water around her, she could sense whenever one of them would move, allowing her to detect anything that was near her.
Robin, the newest member of the crew, was in a field of flowers. In a way, it suit her since her devil fruit was based around flowers. Unlike the rest of Hakai's crew, Hakai had yet to create her a weapon, but she didn't mind. She wasn't well versed in weapons anyway.
They were all spread around the first level of the dungeon, and the first one to reach the next level was Hakai.
It had already been a few hours since they entered the dungeon, Hakai had encountered many enemies and had built up 21 coins when suddenly, he encountered a portal.
The portal was shining blue, and Hakai was sure this was the way to get to the next level, but it wouldn't be that easy. In front of the portal was a sleeping giant.
The giant was big, much bigger than him and although it was sitting down, Hakai guessed that it was about 20 meters tall.
Hakai was fast, so he could definitely just go past the giant and go through the portal, but he felt that he needed to defeat the giant.
Approaching the sleeping giant, it startled awake when he got to a certain distance.

[The giant can detect anything in this domain and also recieves a boost while in its domain.]
[Defeat the giant to reach the next level.]
The giant grabbed its club and stood up, looking down at Hakai. It swung its club down at him, laughing. "Hahahaha, first enemy go bye!"
"Huh?" The giant knew that it hit its enemy properly, but how come it could still detect that it was alive? "Still alive?"
Hakai was holding the large club with his hand coated in haki. "You're weak. Die so I can reach the next level."
Hakai grabbed the club with both hands, swinging it over his head and bringing the giant along with it, slamming the giant on the ground and causing a lot of dust to appear.
