11 Chapter 11

Makino had a smile on her face as she punched the pirates, dodging their strikes left and right. "Is that it?"

It seemed just like Hakai, she too would soon become battle-hungry.

She didn't knock out as much pirates as Hakai, but she still dealt with enough to make a difference.

It didn't take long for Hakai and Makino to deal with the pirates, a pile of bodies surrounding the two.

"Let's keep moving deeper into the town," he said to Makino.

Walking deeper into the city, the duo were interrupted by a large lion with a green fur, and purple mane.

On top of the lion was man wearing a white fur vest. The man's hair was also shaped like a teddy bear's ears.

"Are you people the intruders?" the man asked.

Hakai shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe we are. What are you going to do about it?"

"Oh well. It doesn't matter if you are," the man said, jumping off of the large lion. "Richie, get them!"

"I'll deal with the lion. Can you deal with the weird furry?" Hakai asked Makino.

Makino nodded and chased after the man. The lion named Richie tried attacking her in response, but Hakai was there to block the lion's claws.

"I'm your opponent here," Hakai said taunting the lion to come over.

The lion roared as it jumped in the air and tried pouncing on Hakai, its sharp claws and teeth heading for him.

Hakai smirked. From his perception, by enhancing his eyesight with draconic energy and using it like observation haki, the lion was coming at him in slow motion.

Moving to the side, he waited for the lion to land and slashed the back of its neck, instantly incapacitating the lion.

Hakai was just too strong for the East Blue. At least for the normal people since if Garp came he wasn't confident that he could beat him, but he was confident in the ability of escaping.

Unless a pirate, marine or person had haki, or a devil fruit, there was really no way they could ever think of defeating and overpowering him.

Finished with his fight, Hakai looked over at Makino to see if she was finished yet.

Contrary to her small size, she was actually quite strong as she threw a punch at the man's stomach and making him fall to the ground.

Unlike Hakai, Makino didn't kill her opponent. She wasn't too keen at murdering people, but it'll eventually happen as they continued their pirate journey. Even she knew that.

Going deeper into the city, the duo found themselves at the place that the Buggy Pirates set base in.

Looking around, Hakai saw some pirate grunts and behind them stood a man wearing bright clothes and a bright red nose.

"Let me do something real quick. I have an idea," Hakai said to Makino.

Holding his katana horizontally, he swung it at an arc as a wave of darkness headed for the grunts, chopping the ones that came in contact with it.

"A devil fruit user? Too bad I'm immune to being cut," Buggy said, laughing loudly.

"Cabaji, help them out," Buggy ordered the swordsman who was riding a unicycle.

Hakai and Makino began fighting the pirate grunts.

Hakai wasn't even breaking a sweat as he slashed the pirates left and right. He was smiling as the pirate's blood splashed on him, looking like a crazed psycopath.

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, he was interrupted by a man with green hair on a unicycle.

The man was holding a sword as he started charging at Hakai and swung his sword.

"Too slow."

Hakai dodged the man's sword and grabbed him by the neck, lifting him up off the unicycle and slamming him down towards the ground, creating a web of cracks around the man.

"Cabaji!" Buggy's body shook with anger. "Why you..."

Buggy threw his knives at Hakai as a distraction to detach his right hand and have it sneak up on behind Hakai as it carried a knife.

Buggy had an evil smile as he watched his hand sneak up behind Hakai. "You're dead now!"

Hakai dodged the knives thrown at him. "Buggy, I was thinking of killing you, but that would cause a big butterfly effect. That, and a certain red-haired pirate might come after me."

Buggy looked at Hakai weirdly, confused about what he was saying. "Huh? You're confusing me, but what is that about me dying? You're the one that's dying here today!"

Buggy laughed as he moved his detached hand to stab Hakai's back, but Hakai wasn't stupid. He already knew what Buggy was trying to do.

Hakai turned around and kicked the hand away as he swung his katana towards Buggy, cutting him in half, but because of Buggy's devil fruit, he didn't receive any damage, or at least that was what Buggy thought.

"Gyahahaha. I, the mighty Buggy, am completely immune to being cut, slashed, or pierced, so good luck to killing me. Especially since you're a swordsman. Gyahahahahahaha."

Buggy's top half was floating in the air, but contrary to what he thought, he was actually damaged because he came in contact to Hakai's darkness which turned the parts that it contacted into black as it started corroding them.

"Owwww. How could you hurt me with a sword?!" Buggy was confused. This had never happened to him before.

Hakai chuckled. "Don't worry. I won't kill you and I'll even leave some of your crew alive. After all, you need to survive in the future."

Hakai disappeared from where he was standing and appeared near Buggy's upper half and hit Buggy's head with the hilt of his katana, knocking him out.

Meanwhile, Makino was having fun knocking out pirates left and right. Usually this wouldn't be possible, but being trained by an expert even if it wasn't someone expert in martial arts would still be beneficial.

Makino giggled. "Now I know why Luffy, Ace, and them wanted to be pirates. This is fun!"
