35 Ye Xiao

Ye family in the Misty sky city, after four months all the people in the family forgot about their missing young master Ye Jian. The whole family handlings are transferred to Ye Tie, in the next month Ye Tian is passing his patriarch position to Ye Tie uncle of Ye Jian. Ye Tie at first rejected the position saying that the patriarch position should belong to his elder brother Ye Xiao as per the clan rules but Ye Xiao firmly rejected the proposition.

Ye Xiao left the Ye family residence and staying in the mansion where once Ye Jian lived. He completely cut off his ties with other people and retired from all the family positions. He focused completely on his martial arts cultivation after recovering from the missing news of Ye Jian.

Ye Xiao came to know about Xiao Mi who is in close door cultivation from the people who are working in the mansion and informed him all the details of Xiao Mi. Ye Xiao after learning that Ye Jian is the one who brought Xiao Mi to the mansion and gave her the post of in charge of the mansion felt there is some inexplicable relation between her and Ye Jian. But he did not except that Xiao Mi will be in closed-door cultivation for four months.

Song Tingyu is also continued to stay in that mansion, she is now a widow of Ye family according to the customs after marriage she became the Ye family person, she belongs to the Ye family until she dies. She cannot go outside the family and if her family members want to see her, they should visit her in the Ye family.

Ye Xiao also talked with Song Tingyu, he also told her that she can go to Song family whenever she wants and there is complete freedom for her in the family, but Song Tingyu insisted on staying in the mansion and beforehand informed Ye Xiao that after sometime she will go to the Profound Seven Hills sect and hoped that Ye family will not interfere in her matters. Ye Xiao extended his aura for Xiao Mi to detect and come to him, as he expected after sometime Xiao Mi entered opening the doors of his room. She is covered her face with a white mask which was given by Xia Tian and is wearing a blue color floral dress. She has an elegant demeanor and looking like a princess, she entered the room and In a cold manner asked Ye Xiao, "What is the relation between you and Ye Jian?"

Ye Xiao smiled gently and said, "that is the question I should be asking you... whatever, I am the father of Ye Jian"

Xiao Mi face under the mask became red in embarrassment when she heard the man standing in front of her is the father of Ye Jian, the cold attitude of her somewhat decreased and two red crystals suddenly appeared in her hands, she place the crystals on the table and quickly said, "please pass this crystals to Ye Jian when he returns."

Xiao Mi wants to quickly leave after placing the crystals when she is about to leave she felt a terrifying pressure from Ye Xiao blocking all her movements. She is startled that she cannot even mobilize her Qi to resist the pressure in front of Ye Xiao. She did not except the cultivation level Ye Xiao to be in a frightening level when compared to her. Xiao Mi hesitated for sometime and replied, "I have a soul connection with Ye Jian and I am sure that he is living"

Ye Xiao stunned for some time and smiled like a madman mumbling "my son is alive… ha ha ha… my son is alive..", Xiao Mi also surprised to see Ye Xiao acting like that and helplessly stood there without knowing what to do. Seeing Xiao Mi standing in front of him Ye Xiao collected his bearing and seriously asked "you are from the secret sect in the Ice Dragon empire"

Xiao Mi startled when Ye Xiao mentioned Secret sect because nobody on the dragnor continent knows about them including the nine sects, she nodded her head to Ye Xiao confirming that she is from a secret sect. Ye Xiao sighed after hearing that and said, "you can leave peacefully, I will definitely pass these crystals when Ye Jian returns"

Xiao Mi nodded her head and left from there, when she about to cross the entrance a small voice sounded in Ye Xiao ear "thank you… father in law" and Xiao Mi figure disappeared.

Ye Xiao first stunned hearing that sentence and sighed mumbling himself "Jian'er I don't know whether I should be happy or sad for you, I don't want your fate to become same as me…"
