3 Xiao Mi

Only the entrance to the slave market is good but the scenes which greeted him after entering the slave market made Ye Jian see a different dimension of this new world. The whole area has a depressing atmosphere and there are constant cries and shouts from the market. the streets are narrow and in stadium-like rectangular areas, slaves are kept on a show for sale with a price board hanging down their necks. The whole area is devoid of any color and it is very smelly. From inside the houses, near the stadiums, there is a constant cry of pain either of man or woman. Those are cries of the slaves who are being trained. People are crowded in front of the stadium and bargaining with the dealers, the prices of the slaves. Some dealers are shouting about the unique qualities present in their slaves.

There is no law and order in this region. Children from 8 years of age are being sold here. Some children are crying without knowing what is happening around them. These children are orphans from war-affected areas. The whole area is in a shabby condition. Ye Jian who up to now enjoyed the wonderful scenery of this world first time saw the lives of the poor people and the slaves whose condition is worse than the war affected areas on the earth.

As streets are narrower Ye Jian got off the chariot at the entrance of the market and started to stroll on the streets along with Xing Tia. As there are no special signs indicating that he is from the Ye family nobody took notice of him and continue to do their work. He started looking at slaves who have price board hung on them and are standing on the stadiums. each person is standing there like their soul has been taken off and standing there without any obvious movements. From this point alone it is clear to Ye Jian that those people are tortured until the point of mental break down and they don't have any willpower to revolt against their masters.

He came across a shabby building where a fat woman is beating a 13-year girl with a stick and the girl is crying copiously. From the discussion of the people around him, he came to know that the girl tried to escape from that fat woman and eventually got caught and now is bearing the punishment. seeing that scene his heart twisted with melancholy. He started walking again until the end of the street and sighed with sadness. He is new to this world and doesn't know why there is nobody to stop this abusive behavior of these people.

He did not imagine before coming to this place that slave market will be this kind of rundown place. he thought there will be slaves who are cheerful and ready to work for him and accompany him but did not think there will be lifeless people as slaves in this place. He lost the interest to purchase a slave and want to return to the Ye family.

He called Xing Tia and said that he lost interest to roam around and they can depart for the Ye family. Xing Tia nodded his head and started walking towards the entrance along with Ye Jian. Ye Jian stopped looking around and begin walking towards the entrance. At the entrance of the slave market, he saw two large cages with full of new slaves being traded into the slave market. He calmly observed the people in the cage and waited for the carriage to pass through the gate, so that he can go to his carriage and leave this dilapidated place.

In the cage, he promptly noticed the back of a girl who is around 15-16 years of age and standing there facing her back towards him. This is the sexiest back of a girl he has ever seen in his life, not even celebrities or actresses in his previous life have like this perfect back. With pitch black hair falling up to her slightly curved up bottom. The snake-like slender waist which can be held in a single arm. The shabby patched up clothing of hers is not able to cover up her outstanding figure. Even some men in the cage are looking at her back with ogling eyes but as they are separated by iron bars they are not able to do what they are thinking. Ye Jian also saw a depressing and lonely mood from her back. He thought "why not buy this girl as my slave, It is better talking to a girl than a brawny man". Thinking like this he promptly called for Xing Tia and pointing to the back of the girl in the cage he said to Xing Tia " I want to buy that girl, quickly stop that carriage and speak with the owner of the carriage".

With a bewildered look xing tia stopped the carriage and said to the driver to call for his owner. The driver said to Xing Tia that, his owner is not available now and make way for him to pass and he doesn't have time to chit-chat with him. Seeing the temper of the driver Xing Tia got angry and oppressed the driver with his full 3rd level spirit realm aura. The driver tumbled down from the top of the car and with terrified look "senior please pardon for my mistake. I will call the owner immediately."

With that said, he ran to one of the houses inside the market to call for his owner.seeing this Ye Jian is amazed and thought "I think power is everything in this world and with power you can do whatever you want and nobody will question you and there is no mistake in some people despising me for my trash talent".

After some time the owner who is responsible for the carriage came hurriedly and bowed to Xing Tia and said humbly "senior, how may I help you". Xing tia looked at the owner in a displeased manner and pointed to him to the back of the girl in the carriage and said to him " my young master want to buy that slave, state your price". The girl in the carriage did not seem to be interested in what's happening there and did not turn around. The owner saw the girl pointed by the Xing Tia and said to him apologetically "senior, they are a new batch of slaves from the southern wilderness and they are not trained yet. If you wish you can select top slaves available in my shop".

Ye Jian interrupted the shop owner and said " no need of any training and you don't need to bother about anything else. State your price and I will buy that girl". Ye Jian thought " with your method of training when I see her again, there won't be any soul left in her and it is better to take her from here". The owner hesitated for a moment and finally agreed. Ye Jian thought for a moment and said " no need for a slave mark on the forehead and do not give her any toxic pills". The owner is bewildered by Ye Jian's words and reluctantly agreed.

Xing Tia after paying the said price released the girl from the cage and brought her to where Ye Jian is at. Seeing the front face the girl Ye Jian got a shock. The face of the has two huge scars from the corner of the forehead to corner of the lips destroying her good-looking face. She has to two deep black eyes like two black holes and they are like attracting the soul of the body. Ye Jian can sense deep chill between her eyebrows and in-built arrogance in her bones but it seems like she is not able to be her original self and is in a kind of dazed mood. she has a petite and listless figure. he did not understand how the southern wilderness of the kingdom has a character like her. Usually, all the people from the southern wilderness has a muscular build even woman as they all live on hunting beasts for their food.

Due to all the journey and fatigue and without proper bath her face tanned to wheat color and her chest is small and is still in its developing period. She has an unknown elegance to her walking style and mannerism. Even when she is frowning there is the unknown charm in her destroyed face. Overall her physique is extraordinary which was destroyed by the scars on her face and shoddy clothes she is wearing.

She has an exhausted and depressed look on her and it seems she did not have any strength to speak or to walk properly. It is one of the training methods for slaves in which they are ill-treated and not given any food in order to deplete their willpower. Ye Jian felt huge pity for her and by directing of Xing Tia she listlessly entered Ye Jian carriage and sat on a seat. Ye Jian climbed chariot and sat beside her to know something about her. Xing Tia sat in the front of the carriage and carriage started to move towards the Ye family.

In the carriage, Ye Jian just tried to speak with her but her figure fell on the shoulder of Ye Jian and not made any movement. Ye Jian is startled and after examining, he concluded that she fell as sleep. From her face, he can sense deep exhausted feeling. Ye Jian with a bitter smile did not make any movement and kept silent in the carriage till the arrival of the Ye family.

After the carriage arrived at the Ye family, Xing Tia left the carriage without speaking a word. Ye Jian tapped on her shoulders to wake her up. She woke up and saw Ye Jian with the startled and puzzled look and after recollecting what had happened before she fell asleep she followed Ye Jian with a depressed look without speaking anything.

Ye Jian after getting out of the carriage simply struck there. He did not know where to arrange the accommodation for the girl. He did not know anybody in the Ye family after he got isolated from it from three years ago. Xing Tia went away without even bothering about him. So he deeply searched his memories and found all the slaves are to be placed outside their master's room all the time and they do not have any rooms for resting. They should use common bathrooms which are meant only for slaves and servants and there is common room for all the slaves to keep their clothing and other than that there are no other provisions for the slave.

Ye Jian looked at the girl behind him and he felt huge pity for her and don't want anything to happen to her from now on. So, he decided to take her to his room. Ye Jian directed her and she followed Ye Jian to his room. Ye Jian saw her clothes are bit shoddy and he said to her to stay in the room and went out closing the door. he went to his aunt room who is the wife of his second uncle. His aunt also treated Ye Jian with much affection like his uncle as they had no children they treated him like their own child.

Ye Jian's aunt is Su Meng and takes care of him very much. Seeing Ye Jian Su Meng smiled and teased "Jian'er, I heard that you are getting married, you did not even mention that matter to me, did you forget your aunt?". Ye Jian smiled back and said " I also happened to know about my marriage today morning and I am also shocked as you are. That is all grandfather planning and don't ask me, I don't know anything about it. Aunt, I urgently need 15-year-old girl's dress. Please get me the dress as quickly as possible". seeing the urgent look on his face she did not argue with him but thought that his mannerism is changed somewhat and he is bit bold now when he is speaking and there is some confidence in his conduct. she did not bother about that and ordered some servants to get a dress pertaining to Ye Jian's specification.

Ye Jian is stunned and after a while, he said in a polite manner "don't get any wrong idea I am not going to do anything bad towards you. I bought you from the slave market this afternoon, you are in the Misty Sky city of Blackstone kingdom and I am your master. You just go to bath and change into this dress and we can speak about you. Your present dress is shoddy with a lot of patches." After hearing Ye Jian and recollected all the things happened before, as she did not have a lot of energy to focus, she just followed Ye Jian before, after sleeping for some time she regained some of her vitality. The girls saw her dress and feeling that she did not bath for several days she walked towards the bathroom with the dress and started to the bath.

In the bathroom, she saw her face in the mirror and remembered how she got those scars and what happened to her in the last five days and how she ended up as a slave. She did not know what to do from now on. She doesn't remember any friends or relatives of hers. she has a chain with a red color jade hanging around her neck which is only visible to her. She only knows that jade is very important to her and don't know what it represents. she fiddled with jade for some time but did not have any result. She tried hard to think of a way and after rigorous effort and not remembering anything and not knowing what to do she decided to stay with Ye Jian until she remembers what she wants to do.

After some time the door of the bathroom slightly opened but even after a long time, the girl did not come out of the bathroom. Ye Jian went near the door and knocked on it asking " hello are you there. Do you have any problem?". Then the voice of the girl came from the bathroom saying in a chilly manner " I did not bring any towel with me". Ye Jian smiled and got a towel from the rake and passed it to the girl through the gap of bathroom doors.

Ye Jian sat on the bed. The girl changed into new clothes which is deep blue in color and correct fit for her. She is mesmerizing in that dress except for that large scratch marks on her face she is definitely a top beauty. Ye Jian saw her unblinkingly and she came icily towards Ye Jian and without any kind expression on her face, she sat at another end of the bed.

Ye Jian is silent for a while for her to speak and not getting any response from her she turned towards to her and introduced himself "hello I am Ye Jian of the Ye family in the Misty Sky city of the Blackstone kingdom. May I know who you are?". The girl icily stared at Ye Jian for a while and said: " I am Xiao Mi". she only just said one sentence and did not say anything else. There existed awkward silence between them for a while. At last Ye Jian again asked her "what is your story? and how did you end up in the slave market of the Misty Sky city?"
