11 The Divine Tiger Kingdom

After a long period of time, Ye Jian regained his consciousness, a deep pain came from his fractured arm and with a twisted expression on his face, he tried hard to open his eyes.

The place is completely dark, Ye Jian is not even able to see his hands, he propped himself up withstanding the severe pain transmitting from his arms. He is not able to lift his fractured right arm due to severe pain.

With a lot of effort, he tore open a piece of cloth from his robes using a short knife and tied up his fractured arm to his neck so it won't be shaken due to his movements and cause him pain.

"What place is this? how was I transported here? all I remember was, that a lightning struck over my head and I am teleported to this place." thought Ye Jian, after resting for a while, he took the firesticks from his backpack and lit them up.

Ye Jian noticed that, he is in a small dome-shaped room with a single entrance, he is at the center of the room surrounded by five pillars, which are the same as he has seen in that area, before being teleported, there are different array diagrams on the ground under him indicating it is a teleportation array.

The room is filled with dust and spider webs. it is clear that nobody came here for a long time.

Ye Jian recuperated, after resting for one day and eating the ration food in his backpack.

"this world more complex and tough than I thought, I have to almost die to get a magical beast monster core for my cultivation. Thinking like this Ye Jian decided to move out of this place.

"Teleportation array to be in this place, it may be a conceived teleportation array used for different purposes," thought Ye Jian, and made some marks on the side wall of the cliff, so that it may be useful in the future.

Ye Jian does not have any experience in rock climbing, luckily for him, there are some vines at the side of the exit, which he can use to climb down the cliff. he climbed down from the cliff step by step with his single arm.

After taking some rest, he started to move cautiously inside the forest. He hoped to find some people who may be hunting here and ask them to rescue him. But as he walking, he heard a wind tearing sound and something hard hit him on the back of his head and he lost his consciousness.

A young woman wearing a brown leather armor, with a black hair, cat-like ears, with a tail on her back, and carrying an unconscious tied person on her shoulders entered into a cabin.

"Ting Li, how was your hunt today, who is the person tied on your shoulders?" a brawny man with tiger-like ears and a tail swinging on his back asked the woman who just entered the room.

" I don't know I caught him while hunting in the forest, he is different from us, he is very weak and he may belong to a different race."

The man observed Ye Jian " In our kingdom, only the ones who reached heaven realm will not have a tail and ears as us, they said to be undergone the complete transformation, but he is very weak not even in vein opening realm."

The man frowned for a while and said to Ting Li " wake him up, let's find out where he is from".

Ting Li nodded and splashed some water on the face of Ye Jian, feeling the cold water on his face, Ye Jian woke up feeling a stabbing pain in the back of his head. Ye Jian understood, he is taken as a captive and started to observe his surroundings.

He startled to find that there are so many people observing him and each of them has a tail and pair of a beast like ears.

"what is your race, and what are you doing in our territory?" asked someone, from the group.

Ye Jian came to a realization that they do not belong to a human race, but he did not see any other race being mentioned in the books he read.

He hesitatingly replied, "I belong to a human race, I am from the Blackstone kingdom of Azure Dragon empire, I teleported here through a teleportation array."

" What you are… you are… of the legendary human race?" someone from the group shouted.

Ye Jian also surprised to see that all of them who are present here is shocked and staring at him with surprised eyes.

" yes, I belong to the human race, I am from the Blackstone kingdom which is a border to the southern wilderness" Ye Jian repeated what he said to them.

All of them fell silent for a while, and stared at him like he is a new kind of animal." someone goes and inform the king, that the legendary human race appeared in the kingdom." A tall man shouted from the back.

"yes, yes … Ting Li take him, we will go to the royal palace now" the brawny man said in an urgent voice, the young woman nodded and prepared to take Ye Jian on her shoulders.

" Please, untie me, I am willing to walk with you to the royal palace, and I will not try to escape".

Thinking that Ye Jian is weak and does not have any strength to revolt, Tang Li untied him. Ye Jian followed the group towards the royal palace.

While walking, Ye Jian asked Ting Li, "What place is this? and who are you, people?"

Ting Li replied, " this is the Divine Tiger kingdom, one of twelve kingdoms in Southern Wilderness, it is present in the center of the north of the southern wilderness, you don't ask any more questions and all of the questions will be answered in the royal court."

she doesn't want to divulge any more information without confirming his identity.

Ye Jian neared the place of the royal palace, it is a beautifully built palace on the steep of a mountain, there are two large tiger statues, huge like a mountain at the entrance to the royal palace.

Infront of the royal palace is the royal garden decorated breathtakingly with flowers and trees. The guards stopped them and after knowing that the legendary human race appeared, one of the guards hurriedly ran to the royal palace to inform it to the king.

After some time the guard returned pantingly and led them towards the royal court. The royal court constructed in a dome shape and with many precious jewels and gems embedded into the walls.

After entering the royal court Ye Jian saw only a single handsome young man wearing a white dress with white hair, light blue eyes and excluding an aura of majesty.

All the people who came with Ye Jian kneeled down seeing him. The man smiled warmly at Ye Jian and said to the remaining people to wait outside the courtroom.

After all the people left, the man smiled gently at Ye Jian and asked: "do you belong to a human race?" Ye Jian stared at him cautiously and replied: " yes, I belong to the human race".

The man stared at Ye Jian for some time and asked: " How did you come to this place?"

" I came here due to accidental activation of an ancient teleportation formation," replied Ye Jian.

"what is your name? where do you come from?"

" My name is Xia Tian and I come from Blackstone kingdom which is at the south of Dragnor continent and neighbor to the Southern Wilderness," Ye Jian decided to use his past name out of caution.

The man nodded his head and contemplating a while, the man looked at Xia Tian with a serious look and said, " I want a drop of your blood to confirm your identity."

Xia Tian nodded his head, it is normal for them to suspect him, as he is a new race to them. " I am willing to give my blood for verification, but may I know where I am" the man didn't reply to Xia Tian, he just waved his hand and a knife cut appeared on Xia Tian finger, the man collected the blood in a narrow tube.

He replied, " all your questions will be answered after your identity is confirmed until then you can rest in the guest room and get bandaged to your wounds." The man left the court hall saying this.

Before leaving, he gave proper rewards to the group who brought Xia Tian and sent them off. A guard called Xia Tian to direct him towards the guest room. In the guest room, an old person dressed Xia Tian wounds and tied up his fractured arm.

After cleaning himself with water and Xia Tain changed into new clothes that he brought in his backpack, he lied on the bed to rest and due to exhaustion in these two days, he slowly fell asleep.

After some time someone came to wake up Xia Tian and escorted him to a room where the young man from earlier is waiting for him. The young man saw Xia Tian and there is an inconceivable joy and excitement on his face.

He smiled at Xia Tian and said to sit on the chair in front of him. "Xia Tian, you said you came here through a teleportation formation, where did you find the teleportation formation and how did you activate it?"

Xia Tian described how he found an ancient place while trying to escape from the silver hoofed rhino and how the teleportation formation activated because of lightning. The man listened attentively to what Xia Tian is saying and sighed at the end. Xia Tian saw the man reaction and asked in a polite manner " Senior my I know where I am and who are you all?"

The man looked at Xia Tian surprised and laughed " Sorry I forgot, we are also a new race for you, as you are to us".

The man thought for a while to organize his words and replied " my name is Bai Hu, the present king of the Divine Tiger Kingdom. This is the royal palace, which is situated at Great Tiger mountain which is at the center of the kingdom. We are at the north part of the southern wilderness and there are elven other kingdoms present here similar to us."

Saying up to here Bai Hu stopped, after thinking for a while he continued " we of the twelve kingdoms do not belong to this plane. We belong to a high ranked plane, but due to a great war that happened 50,000 years ago, our race is extinguished along with our ancestors, we are the later generation of the members who survived in that war.

"Sword Monarch Ji Mo is the one who rescued the remaining members of our race and got them here through a spatial crack. He wanted to transport them to a different plane but due to some unknown interference in the spatial transportation, we got transported here, and not able to create another spatial teleportation we continued to live here."

Xia Tian took some time to digest the information, as all the information said are completely new to him and there is no mention of other planes or planets mentioned in the records of the Ye family library.

The man asked Xia Tian, " what is the nearest peak in the southern wilderness from your place?".

Xia Tian came out of his thoughts and replied " the nearest peak is the Black abyssal mountain, it is 1000 miles from the Blackstone kingdom but none of the masters in the human race able to cross the mountain, they are only able to go up to the base of the mountain and no record is there, about, what is at the Blackabyssal mountain that is preventing them from going further."

Bai Hu turned serious after hearing this, " it is as said by the Sword Monarch, there are human race settlements after the black abyss. When we first came here, Sword Monarch tried to explore abyss and tried to pass through it to the other side, he knows about this plane from some records and sure that humans are living on the other side of that abyss.

"There is dense black profound energy covering the place and made the flight impossible, one has to pass through it to go to the other side, it is 200 to 300 miles in width. The Sword Monarch firmly believed that the interference during the teleportation is caused by something in that Abyss, that is also the main reason for, why we are not in contact with the human world."
