33 Good Bye

Next day in the early morning, Xia Tian twitched his eyelids in order to open them, he wanted to lift his arm to rub his eyelids but he felt his whole body powerless, he stopped his movements and circulated his profound qi to all his body parts, the last thing he remember was being struck by a void crack on his back and lost his consciousness after that. By revolving his profound qi throughout his body for some time, he found some strength in his body, he gently opened his eyes and found that he is in some tent, in the gentle light of the crystal lamp, he turned his head and found She Xue who is sleeping by leaning on the cloth walls of the tent.

Xia Tian heaved a sigh of relief after finding that Shen Xue is safe and now he is sure that they are out of danger, he kept looking at the beautiful face of Shen Xue in the gentle light of the crystal lamp, he remembered all the conversations with her in the past three years of his experience in the training field but his mood suddenly dampened after remembering about his new profound vein, he prayed hard that all that part of his memory is a dream and took a sneak peek inside his body using his soul consciousness but was distressed to find out that twinkling blue color profound vein is running parallel to his original profound vein.

He deeply sighed and thought of all possible solutions but he is not able to find a proper solution, it is clear that he is not able to unite with any women from now on, if under any impulse if he had sex with any women that woman is bound to die due to high volume of yin energy from his body, he again looked at Shen Xue and his eyes became dispirited.

He knows that even if Shen Xue accepts his love proposal and even he is able to live without sex but what about her, every woman wants become mother and highly anticipate about that, at first she may agree to marry him after knowing his condition but as the time progress she definitely will feel some void in her heart as she can not have a child, and there is also a chance that under some impulse they might have sex and it will also lead to a bad ending. When Xia Tian woke up next time, Shen Xue is not in the tent and he heard some noises outside, as almost one-fourth of his energies are restored after his profound qi began to circulate in his body, he gradually got up from the floor and walked outside the tent.

Outside the tent he found Niu Ming is cooking some meat and Shen Xue sitting opposite to him, he smiled and greeted two of them. They also smiled and nodded at him.

"How is your body condition now, are you feeling discomfort anywhere?" Shen Xue asked Xia Tian with a slight concern in her voice.

"no, I am all fine, how did you heal my wounds that quickly?"

"I know some healing techniques, healing your wounds did not pose many problems to me"

"thank you, where are we now?"

"we still have to explore, but there is no danger here till now," replied Shen Xue to Xia Tian.

Xia Tian went and sat beside Niu Ming and started roasting the meat, Niu Ming secretly asked Xia Tian, "brother Xia Tian, how did you strength increase that rapidly in just three months, can you please tell me?"

Xia Tian looked at Shen Xue asking her through his eyes if it is fine to tell Niu Ming about the truth, but Shen Xue gently shook her head saying not to tell the truth, it is not that she doesn't trust Niu Ming, but if news got leaked about such artifact from Niu Ming in any other way, it is sure that he won't have any good ending and it is best to keep him in the dark at present.

Xia Tian replied after some thinking, "brother Niu Ming it is just that Shen Xue and I had a fortuitous encounter in the ancient ruins and that is also the reason for us to close up in cultivation for the past three months."

There are also some short distance stable teleportation arrays in some important towns for better transportation, after walking for about half a day they saw a small village and by asking around the people there, they go to know that they are at the borders of Willy Snake kingdom and it takes around half a month to go to the nearest Water snake town which has the teleportation array.

They did not stay for a long time in that village and after packing up all the food and other necessary items, they started moving towards the Water snake town on iron-armed bears which are fastest in transportation type beasts available there.

Xia Tian also remembered about the Sword Monarch inheritance and decided to go to the royal palace after arriving at the divine tiger kingdom. He again did not think about confessing his love to Shen Xue due to his present condition. He also somewhat became gloomy and occasionally talked with the other two.

Xia Tian felt very sad by daily seeing Shen Xue and not able to confess to her, his heart always felt uncomfortable while seeing Shen Xue that is also the reason why he is not able to freely communicate with others, he decided that he should not meet Shen Xue until he finds about solution to his problem after arriving at the divine tiger kingdom.

Shen Xue also felt Xia Tian is avoiding her and speaking much less than the usual, she suspected something happened in the city lord palace in the ancient ruins but patiently waited for Xia Tian to explain himself. Seeing his gloomy mood she also did not ask questions about his tremendous increase in strength, she thought she will find bout it after his mood recovers.

Its been five days since they started traveling, as the sun is about to set they stopped their mounts in a plain field where it is easy to set up tents. In the night, while eating Niu Ming suddenly remembered an important thing that he forgot but waited till all went to their tents as the matter is concerned with princess Bai Xue.

Xia Tian is not able to sleep in his tent, he always felt melancholic in his heart whenever he saw Shen Xue, he is not able to be peaceful in his heart by daily seeing Shen Xue, he decided to move alone and prepared some excuse to tell Shen Xue that he has some work to do in some other town of the willy snake kingdom, he decide to tell it tonight and move away from them tomorrow early morning.

Niu Ming who is guarding the tents at night came to Shen Xue tent and lightly shouted "princess, I have something important to tell you, may I enter the tent"

Shen Xue is surprised to hear Niu Ming sound at the middle of the night, she also guessed that it should be something relating to her identity as the princess and allowed Niu Ming to enter her tent.

"Niu Ming, what is the important matter that you want to tell me?"

"princess Bai Xue about two months ago, King Bai Hu announced your engagement with Yu Zhi son of prime minister Yu Bao. The king also announced your marriage will be in six months from then. I don't know whether you know about this as you are in closed training in the past three months, so I came to inform you."

Shen Xue became dazed after she heard Niu Ming, she thought her father will wait till she comes back to announce the engagement, she thought she can persuade her father to cancel the engagement if possible but now it is publicly announced and she doesn't know what to do. She thought about Xia Tian, but he still did not propose her, after developing feelings for Xia Tian, she does not want to take some other man as her husband, she thought tomorrow she will tell her engagement news to Xia Tian and as she knows Xia Tian character he will definitely propose to her then.

While Niu Ming is leaving Shen Xue tent, Xia Tian also came there to inform her about his departure tomorrow, but seeing Niu Ming there Xia Tian Smiled at him and asked, "brother Niu, what are you doing here?"

Niu Ming to not reveal the fact that Shen Xue is Bai Xue quickly replied, "Nothing brother Xia Tian, I just remembered that Shen Xue's father announced her engagement two months ago, there is also her marriage in next four months and I came to inform her as I don't know whether she knows about that or not. what are you doing in the middle of the night?"

Xia Tian also became dazed after hearing the news, his heart twisted with pain, he felt something is blocking his throat making his breathing difficult, he hoarsely replied Niu Ming, "I am not able to sleep, so I am just wandering searching for you, but I feel sleepy now, I will just return to my tent"

"okay, have good sleep now, tomorrow you have to stand guard for the tents," said Niu Ming laughingly.

Xia Tian just nodded his head and returned to his tent. he is just not able to accept the fact that Shen Xue is going to be married to someone else if he did not have the problem with his profound veins he will rush towards Shen Xue and inform her of his feelings, but it is different now. He thought about it sometime and steeled his heart and wrote some letter leaving it in his tent for Shen Xue, he silently sneaked out of there in the middle of the night.

Next morning, Shen Xue seeing that Xia Tian is not coming out of his tent for breakfast went near his tent and called for him. Hearing no reply from inside the tent after some time Shen Xue entered inside the tent, she was surprised to find the tent to be empty, she only found a white paper letter in the middle of the tent. she picked up the letter and quickly opened it.

"Shen Xue I am sorry that I am leaving without informing, I have an urgent task to perform and my destination is different from the divine tiger kingdom, thank you for all the support you have provided me in the last three years, you are the only best friend I have in this place and I also heard you are engaged from Niu Ming and your marriage is in another four months, I sincerely congratulate you on your marriage and if possible I try to attend your marriage, goodbye."

Shen Xue heart became melancholic after reading the later and tears started to roll from her eyes. It is now after Xia Tian left she recognized how much she missed Xia Tian. It is so sudden, as for about three years they are always together, it is like an empty void formed in her heart that can only be fulfilled by Xia Tian.
