28 Dual Profound Viens

After teleporting to the underground spirit stone mine, Xia Tian glanced all around the mine thinking anxiously how to store all these spirit stones to use it later for cultivation. He thought it would be waste to leave all these spirit stones here and he also doesn't know when he will come here again.

"Chi Mu, say how are we going to enhance my profound vein?"

"master, my thirty-third master already made all the preparation and even constructed the pond that you are seeing at the core part of the profound vein to enhance his profound veins, you have to just go and soak in that pond and try to absorb the energy in it and refine the profound qi. The liquid in that pond acts as a catalyst and all the energy in the profound vein here will be used to greatly enhance your profound vein."

"Chi Mu, are you sure that there are no complications in the process and it is very safe"

"master, according to the knowledge I have, there are no complications but when enhancing the profound vein you will feel a lot of pain."

Xia Tian thought for some time but somehow he is feeling that it won't end good for him if he soaked in that pond. After repeatedly confirming with Chi Mu he dared and entered the pond by removing his clothes. He also cut off his soul consciousness with Chi Mu to fully concentrate on absorbing the profound energy.

After entering the pond Xia Tian felt very cold, he did not think much about that and by immersing his head completely into the pond he started refining profound qi.

To his surprise Xia Tian did not feel any pain and he accelerated his rate of obsorption, he is like a sponge thrown in the water and his absorption soared exponentially due to the liquid in the pond acting as a catalyst.

Xia Tian doesn't know how many days, he felt that there is no more energy to absorb from the pond and opened his eyes. He did not feel any enhancement in his profound qi but somehow felt it is being difficult for him to circulate his qi in his body, he saw that the liquid in the pond became as clear as water after he absorbed all the profound energy present in the profound vein. He is also perplexed as he did not feel any pain during the absorption as said by Chi Mu.

Xia Tian dumbfounded as he observed his profound vein using his soul Consciousness. There is no enhancement to the previous golden blue profound vein but now there is another profound vein in deep blue color and twinkling like stars running parallel to his previous profound vein.

He took a spirit stone and tried to refine the profound qi from it, he easily obsorbed the profound energy but while refining he felt it became very very slow and only small part of the profound energy is refined into Qi.

He quickly contacted Chi Mu to know what is happening to him using his soul consciousness and asked, "Chi Mu, what happened to my profound veins and why I am not able to refine the profound qi from profound energy."

"master, what happened to your profound vein, according to what I know its characteristics should have improved and you should be able to refine the profound qi more than three times faster from before"

"Chi Mu, you retard, my previous profound vein does not have any enhancement but a new profound vein is formed parallel to it and now my profound qi refining speed is very slow and its efficiency is almost negligible"

After some time Chi Mu voice sounded out in Xia Tian mind, saying, "master tell me the characteristics of both of your profound veins, I try to clarify the situation as much as possible"

Xia Tian gritted his teeth and said, "my previous profound vein is deep golden blue in color and the newly formed profound vein is in deep blue in color and some dots on it are twinkling like stars"

Chi Mu went silent for a moment after hearing that, seeing that Chi mu is not making any noise Xia Tian became anxious and quickly said, "Chi Mu whatever it is don't keep me in the suspense and inform me quickly"

"master from the knowledge I have, it is like this, the profound vein enhancement using the profound vein of the spirit mines always enhances the part of the profound vein of the person which has similar characteristics to profound vein of the spirit mine, naturally all the profound veins present are mixture of yin and yang elements but there are certain type of veins like heavenly pure yang profound veins, nine solar yang profound veins like that which have high mount of yang elemental characteristics and veins like heavenly pure yin profound veins, moon radiant yin profound veins which has high yin elemental characteristics to it such veins will also absorb and enhance their respective elements through this process but in your case, in your case…"

Xia Tian felt something bad happened to him from the pause in Chi Mu voice and furiously shouted, "Chi Mu, You motherf***er, say it out and don't say any other nonsense."

"master, to your bad luck the veins you have high yang energy and some other characteristic to it and also the profound vein present in this mine is celestial nine yin profound vein which is one of purest form of yin profound veins with no yang elements in it. So, due to their incompatible nature, I think a new profound vein of celestial nine yin profound vein is formed in your body parallel to your previous profound vein after obsorbing all that profound energy"

Xia Tian became enraged after hearing Chi Mu words and roared, "Chi Mu, you bastard, you say now that 'you think' and don't know for sure, you are the one given me this big surprise say, what I should do with you?, okay leave it aside why I am not able to refine profound qi from profound energy in the spirit stones"
