10 Welcome to the Capital Pt.2

Now that Takashi thought about it, his Primordial Dragon powers could actually see the aura of someone else, depending on the color of the aura Takashi could see if the person had any 'killing intentions' or if they posed a 'threat'. Right now Leone had a golden kind of aura, meaning she was 'harmless', for now. Takashi's aura-sense/Dragon-sense works when someone's attitude changes, he can see if they are telling the truth or not by reading other beings aura. It was a powerful-sense to use during combat, he could literally read his opponents minds and their next moves during combat.

'Wait a minute?... Where is Sayo and Ieyasu?' Takashi scans the tavern to see if his village comrades were here, but he couldn't find them anywhere, he couldn't even sense their aura nearby. 'Did something happen to them?' Takashi's dragon-instincts kicked in. He knew something was wrong.

Takashi had a feeling that Ieysau and Sayo were in danger, he could faintly smell their scents, they were very far away from what his draconic nose had picked up.

Naturally, Takashi would leave right now, he wasn't the type for small talk and useless negations, he knew Leone was a crafty and manipulative sexy lioness woman. But didn't stop Tatsumi from being attracted to her, in fact, most males would bend over heels just to talk to a gorgeous woman like Leone. Takashi knew she was just playing them for fools, he was going to leave.

But Leone took the initiative first and stood up first, "Well, see you young brave warriors around! By the way, thank you for the meal!" Leone cutely chugs down a mug of fresh and breathes heavily, she rubs her full-tummy. "Aaaaaaah! That is some good stuff! You know you look very handsome! You would make a good mate!" Leone drunkenly says to Takashi as she rubs his muscular well-toned arms. He wasn't overly buff, but his body frame was indeed muscular and in prime condition, suitable for any type of combat.

"I know I would now get your dirty paws off me, Let's get going Tatsumi. This woman is a waste of time," Takashi smacks away Leone hands and stands up to leave the wooden tavern.

"Wait bro, there is something I need to tell you, stay in the Tavern for a while. We need to wait for Ieysau and Sayo as well," Tatsumi informed Takashi as he swirls around a cup orange juice and crosses one leg.

"See you guys later! Big sis is gonna miss you!" Leone actually waves bye and kisses Takashi in the cheeks!

"I look forward to seeing you again the most," The busty brash blonde warrior says with a sexy wink. Her golden eyes peer deep into Takashi's blood-red eyes which were almost glowing from how angered he was. How was she fast enough to steal a kiss on the cheeks? She really was one mischievous lioness and she was indeed as fast and courageous as one as well. If only Takashi knew about her 'true powers'.

Leone finally leaves and Takashi sits back down with Tatsumi.

"So what do you want to tell me?" Takashi asked Tastumi with furrowed eyes.

"Well it is about Sayo... I think I kind of like her..." Tastumi sighed as he thought about his childhood friend who was an amazing' beauty' in his eyes. Sayo was everything he had ever wanted in a woman, she was smart, tough, loving, kind, and most of all she was always there for Tastumi and Takashi, she had grown attached to the two village warrior brothers. But Sayo only looked at Takashi, she only had her eyes for Takashi, it seemed that Sayo had grown quite fond for Takashi and his powerful skills as a warrior and fighter.

"Then why don't you tell her that? Why are you telling me?" Takashi lays back in his chair. "Anyways why did you pay for the woman's meal?" He added in.

"Well, I also gave that smoking hot woman some extra coin to get us into the military! In no time we will be raising up the ranks!" Tatsumi exclaims.

"You idiot! Why did I even trust you with the money!" Takashi angrily grips at the edge of the wooden table almost shattered the table into wood chunks from how angry he was of his brothers sheer stupidity.

"Don't worry she will come back! I know she will! The people in the Capital are not so bad!" Tastumi says to defend his poor decision.

And just like that hours passed and there was no sign of the conniving blonde bombshell. The tavern was closing.

"Alright, the bar is closing. Get out, " Says the manager of the tavern. He was a bald man with a long beard and muscular body, kind of like a lumber-jack.

"But we are waiting for someone!" Tatsumi replies.

"Hate to break it to you kid, but you just got tricked and scammed by that woman, she always does this to the newcomers who migrate to the Captial." The manager says while cleaning a beer mug.

"Didn't I tell you she was trouble, I just stayed here so you can learn from your mistake," Takashi sighs "Luckily I have some spare silver coin," He checks his jacket pockets and lord behold his coins are gone.

"That fucking bitch!" Takashi clenched his fist and easily punches through a wooden table. "Yeah! She is going to pay for taking our money!" Tatsumi angrily adds in while kicking a nearby chair on the floor.

"Welcome to the Capital," Says the manager in a monotone voice with a face that was already used to the unfairness and unjust in this unforgiving city.

Takashi and Tastumi are now resting in a nearby brick bridge, they looked like homeless adventurers who had no money, which was pretty much true. Their outlook of the Capital surely changed today. Well, Takashi already knew the Capital was full of shitty people, but Tatsumi didn't. Not until today that is.

"I wonder if Ieysau and Sayo are safe?" Tastumi looks at the starry skies. Nightfall was upon them. The Capital actually looked breath-taking at night, all the lights lit up like whitish heavenly orbs.

"Yeah..." Takashi was thinking about his comrades the whole time, why weren't they at the tavern they were supposed to meet up at in. Did something happen to them?

The sounds of horses galloping echoes across Takashi's ears. The galloping got closer and closer.

"Stop the carriage!"Screams out a young feminine voice.

"Mrs. Aria what is it!?" Thunders out a stoic and deep male voice. The sounds of horses neighing were heard.

Takashi looks up and sees a blonde girl about their age(17) getting out of a fancy gold and blue carriage.

"We have to help them! You guys must be hungry! Come with me and I can get you something to eat at my place!" Aria said she was a short girl with bright emerald eyes and short-shoulder length blonde hair that looked flawless and shiny. She looked like an angel.

"Nope! Not this time!" Tatsumi turns away his head, he didn't trust Aria or anyone for that matter what happens with Leone taking all of the hard earned money he and Takashi had gotten after defeating Class-A Danger Beasts.

"But it's better to be somewhere safe and warm then out here in these dangerous parts of the streets, please I implore you to come to stay at my resident just for the night," Aria insisted with a cute giddy harmless smile.

"Fine you do make a good point, Ahchoo!" Tatsumi sneezes, it was cold as fucking hell outside in the Captial. Tatsumi and Takashi had nowhere to stay, any place they went to for sheltered had kicked them out. It seemed that all the people in the Capital only cared about one thing. Money.

Takashi was hesitant to trust Aria, he found her awfully suspicious, her aura was a mixture between red and blue. Red signifies hatred and sin, while blue signifies calmness and kindness. Whatever the case Tastumi and Takashi manage to end up at Mrs. Aria's elegant mansion, they actually had no other choice, since the cold would get them sick, and plus didn't have any food, on top of that Aria was willing to a pay a large sum for both warriors to be her new bodyguards. So Takashi didn't think twice when he heard about how much gold coin they would be offered for her protection. If only they knew the truth...
