18 Night Raid

'What is Takashi thinking? We are clearly outnumbered by these highly skilled assassins, I saw what they did against the Empire Guards and I have heard myths about Night Raid taking down the strongest of Empire Warriors, seeing them finally in person, is making me feel on edge, then again they offered to threat Sayo's fatal wounds. I don't know what Night Raid is planning, but they did help us out by distracting some of the guards so Takashi could go save Sayo and Ieysau, then again they got in Takashi's way of saving our family!' So many questions and thoughts were running through Tatsumi's mind as he gritted his teeth and gripped the handle of his knight-sword.

Takashi unsheathes Ryuyami, its dark blood red and shadow black dragon-steel blade glimmered with the moonlight from above the dark midnight skies. It truly was a sword that transcended all legendary swords. It was a sword that could only be wielded by a True Dragon.

Takashi took in Akame's beauty and her flawless battle stance, finally someone of his caliber stood before him.

Akame is a young girl with long black hair that reaches down to her knees and red eyes. She was wearing a dark sleeveless mini dress with a white collar and a red tie; she was also wearing a red belt that has a red side skirt cover. She wears it with long black socks and black shoes. She also wears red gauntlets and black gloves to protect herself from her own blade, kind of like Takashi who wore black Teigu armored gloves that protected him from the powerful cursed flames of his own sword.

The first one to strike was Takashi with a Yoko Giri slash(A side-slash movement) he aimed for her head, but Akame was quick on her feet and countered his sword strike with a Kesi Giri slash(A upside down and overhead sword counter that arcs over one's body in an upwards swinging motion). *Clink! Clang!* The sound Ryuyami and Murasame colliding with one another echoed loudly across the forest.

"Woah! Such an amazing sight! I have never seen Akame this focused in a battle!" Leone cheers on Akame, but deep down inside she wanted Takashi to go all out on Akame. She was mildly entertained about such an epic battle, in fact, the whole Night Raid squad was very impressed by Takashi holding his ground against Akame.

"Kill that bastard for me Akame!" Mine angrily shouts out as she points her index finger at Takashi. She was still pissed off at Takashi for flicking her nose and sending her flying into the air!

Akame coldly glared directly at Takashi as she presses her katana blade against Takashi's katana blade, which was a bad move on her part, a large burst of flames sparked out Ryuyami's blood-red blade and encases Akame's entire slender body in red and black flames.

"Gaaaaaah!" Akame slides back and does a back-flip to avoid being burned to death, she nearly burned to death at this very moment. Her entire skirt was covered in flames and her shirt was slowly melting exposing one of her perky breasts which were covered up in a black corset bra.

"Oh man! Things are heating up between you two!" Leone shouts with both hands over her mouth. She was trying to get some emotion out the most emotionless girl in the world Akame, but her chants were fruitless. Akame's pale Japanese face remained unfazed and focused upon Takashi who pointed his sword at Akame edging her on to land a strike on him.

Blood drips down Akame's striking hand, and burnt marks were seen around her forearms and well-toned biceps.

Ryuyami was a vicious and dangerous katana in every shape and form, even without getting into contact with the sword(Being pierced by the firey blade), the dragon flames that emitted from the blade was powerful enough to melt any type of metal or mineral, including flesh and bone, Akame was only alive at this moment because of her Teigu Murasame had blocked out most of the flames, any normal sword would have melted on impact of Ryuyami's sheering blade that was hot as lava right now.

Also, Takashi hadn't fully unleashed the true power of his Teigu and his own Dragon-Force powers, because he didn't want anyone to know that he was a Primordial Dragon. He kept this secret hidden from the Night Raid and even Tatsumi as his most powerful Trump Card lied deep within Ryuyami which was yet to be revealed.

But one must know that his Teigu was forged with Ryūjin Jakka (Zanpakutō spirit) a blazing inferno of flames that was so powerful it could actually disintegrate any object and even someone's soul!

The Fire Manultionship powers of Ryuyami were infinite and to top it off, it was fused/forged with a rare Danger Beast that was more powerful than Akame's Murasame. Ryuyami was a Teigu that soon everyone in this world would know its wrath.

Akame is persistent on continuing the fight with Takashi and springs forward with Murasame over her shoulders in a jabbing motion, a sound-wave was produced behind Akame from how fast she was. Akame is a very agile and fast assassin, actually, she might have been as fast Leone, but the difference is that Akame outclassed everyone when it came to sword combat. But right now this wasn't the case against Takashi. Akame was hellbent on taking down Takashi and asking him questions of why he took down the targets of her mission. This was unnatural for Akame, normally she wouldn't care if someone took down her targets, especially people from the Empire, however she didn't trust Takashi. She was kind of heartless right now, even after seeing Takashi mourn over his fallen brother, she still wanted to fight him.

Takashi and Akame slash at each other with an array of various sword strikes. They were moving so fast that they couldn't even be seen in the darkness of the night. Only Ryuyami's flames sparked brilliantly in the darkness.

*Clink! Clang!* More sounds of sword blades striking against one another echoed even louder than before.

"Who the hell is this guy?" Mine asked Leone in a snobbish tone.

"He's pretty good right? To hold his own against Akame is a feat on its own," Leone replied with a smirk.

"Yes, it is truly fascinating to watch," Says the purple haired girl assassin who wore sleek glasses. and used a large pair of scissors as a deadly weapon.

"Yes, Sheelee it really is. I can't wait to teach him so of my amazing moves," Exclaims Bulat with a sparkling smile from within his spartan-knight helmet.

"I don't know what you guys see in him, he is just a show-off," Says Lubbock, he was the boy with long green hair and bright emerald eyes, he was the one who used a Thread-Based Teigu to decapitate his opponents.

Tatsumi and Sayo(who is barely awake) watch Takashi fight off Akame with numerous of sword slashes he had learned in his past life and new life, What Tatsumi didn't know was that Takashi was a ruthless top tier assassin in his past life. An assassin who slays anyone that was on his hit-list, no one was safe from Takashi in his past world of 'Earth'.

For about five minutes of sword slashes and combat kicks and punches, Takashi had finally delivered the last blow to Akame, he slashed her right eye and then fiercely punched her right in the face with his Dragon-Strength. Akame's body was sent flying into a nearby forest.

"Who are you?..." Akame eyes slowly closed as blood dripped down her slashed eyes. She was knocked out cold. If only she knew the truth...

"No way! He actually defeated Akame!" Leone yells out with eyes wide open.

Bulat, Lubbock, Mine, and Sheelee all had shocked looked on their faces, they have never seen anyone defeat one of the strongest assassins in their squad. Night Raid had finally seen an opponent that was on their skill level, maybe even higher. Takashi was an untamable bloodthirsty dragon that only fought for himself and his family. No one stood a chance against him. Could Night Raid actually take them him down? Could they convince him to join their faction?

Takashi quickly nullified his hellish dragon flames from burning off Akame's beautiful face. She was lucky that Takashi already used up all of his Dragon-Force powers to kill all of the Empire Guards and fight off the rest of Night Raid so that they could get out of his way. Takashi didn't believe in over-killing his opponents, it was a waste of time, when he was in battle he gave his opponents no chance to live, he quickly killed them off. However, Akame proved that she was truly an assassin who could put up a good fight. Takashi respected her resilience and fighting spirit, Akame in a way reminded him of himself, she was worthy to die by his blade. But not today, he only cared about Sayo's life at this moment.

Takashi walks over Akame's defeated knocked-out body without any mercy for her and then goes over to pick up Sayo who was finished being healed by Leone and Bulat. There were still some bloody wounds around her body from the torture she endured, but nothing fatal. Leone had healed all her fatal wounds with a special potion created from the leader of the Night Raid.

Takashi holds Sayo's sleeping body in his hands and walks away, "Let's go Tatsumi, we are done here," He darkly says. He was still pissed off about Ieysau's death, it took everything it could to hold back his anger.

"But brother these assassins saved Sayo's life! Shouldn't we repay them?" Tatsumi said.

"Repay them for what? Getting in my way when I was trying to save Sayo and Ieysau, if they weren't here then I could have saved Ieysau!" Angrily thundered Takashi as he tightly held Sayo's body.

"Hey, you. We are wondering if you want to join Night Raid when need someone like you who clearly has the skill to take down the corrupted Empire and bring peace amongst this cruel world, I know you want revenge for what those royal bastards and Empire did to your friends we can help with that, what can stop these sick crimes from ever happening again with your help, plus I can pay you back for taking your money...Ha..." Leone said with a gulp, she was afraid of what Takashi's reaction was going to be.

"Yes please excuse us for our actions, it was never our intentions to get in your way of your comrades who were captured by our targets, we owe you one, for accomplishing our mission without any fail, you have also managed to defeat one of our strongest members, please also excuse Akame for her brash actions, she was just doing what was best for our squad, she could be a little too direct and deadly with those she doesn't trust or know, that is to be expected from a highly trained assassin of her high caliber. But we would be honored if you joined us and our cause to rid evil of this world," Bulat said as he did a knightly bow.

After everything that happened today, this was the last thing he wanted to hear.

'There is no way in hell that I will ever work for someone else, fuck that. Not in this new world. Not ever again, but these people did save Sayo's life, without any healing potion, she would have died.' Takashi clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. He didn't know what side to chose. Then again what truly was good or evil? It didn't matter right now. Takashi just didn't want to be chained down to anyone. A True Dragon must roam free and do as it pleases, as the world trembles at its might and power. It was a tough decision to make. Join the Night Raid and get the revenge he sought or become a Rogue Assassin? Which will it be?

[A/N: Let me know what is better? For me, I would choose to join Night Raid since they are such a crucial force in Akame Ga Kill and they could help Takashi train his powers. There are many things I wanted to add in this chapter and I currently editing and fixing past chapters. Just to let you guys know, no one knows that Takashi is Primordial Dragon, Night Raid and everyone that has come in contact with Takashi just thinks his powers and insane strength stem from his Teigu Ryuyami. Just to get that out of the way. And now things will begin to change if it didn't already.]
