5 Chapter 4

William quickly reached the summoning altar. It was made of from a single piece of some kind of blue stone. It would flicker with a soft glow from time to time. Although the construction of the altar was very simple, with a big circular platform connected to a very thin cylindrical bottom, it could easily charm a lesser man with its simplistic and elegant beauty. It really looked out of place when you considered the simple wooden house behind it.

"So, umm.....Saphira I don't see a guide or button to operate this thing."

(*Ding* It is very simple to use the altar. You just need to drop some of your blood on the summoning platform and knock on it 3 times. Simple, right?)

"Yeah, that's actually pretty simple. But why the blood though? I really don't want to cut myself if possible."

(*Ding* Your blood is used as a proof of identity while forming the contract. After being summoned beings will form a soul bond with you and they will be completely loyal to you.)

"Wow! That's so awesome. I wonder what will I summon. Let's do it!"

"Master, you can use my teeth to puncture a small hole on your thumb if you want."

"Good idea Rie. I will buy you extra chocolate for helping me out."

Rie gave a quick prick to William's right thumb and he pinched around the wound to get some blood out of the wound. He quickly smeared it on the platform and knocked on it three times in a row. This was his first time summoning, and anyone could clearly tell that by the excited look on his face.

In a few seconds, some kind of energy started gathering at the centre of the platform. The blue stone started glowing very brightly. It was completely different from its previous gentle glow, looking at directly right now felt like someone was poking needles into William's eyeballs. He quickly covered his eyes with his left arm and waited for the summoning to finish with bated breath.

After almost 30 seconds a new notification rang into William's mind.

(*Ding* Congratulations William! You have formed a soul contract with Uchiha Itachi.)

William was so shocked by the news that he couldn't even react to it. He just stood there, in front of the kneeling man who was wearing the Akatsuki's uniform, and did his best impression of a goldfish out of the water.

"Hello, Master! I'm Uchiha Itachi." The calm voice of one of his childhood hero rang into his ears. Finally, the insanity had caught up to William and a hysterical and diabolical laughter broke out of his mouth. Both Itachi and Rie were looking at him in a perplexed manner, but nothing could phase William right now. His happiness was over the highest peak out there.

After 5 minutes his laughter finally abated. Looking at Itachi's and Rie's concerned gaze William gave a light cough, cleared his throat and said, "Hello Itachi! Nice to meet you. I'm William Walker. I hope that we can have a successful partnership in the future. And please refer to me as Will or William, whichever you like."

"Yes, William. I also hope that we can have a successful partnership."

William looked at Itachi once again and cracked a grin at his devilish luck.

"Just out of curiosity but why did you decide to become my summon, Itachi? And please don't kneel in front of me."

"The female voice called Saphira told me that if I can accept the contract, then you will help me achieve my dream."

"Oh? And what is your dream Itachi?"

"Peace. I don't want to see someone else kill their own family members."

"Hmm...I have no problem helping with your dream. I just don't know how to reach shinobi world right now. But I fully believe that I can go there once I have become stronger. So please give me some time, I promise I will try to become stronger quickly. I have just received the dragon farm a few days back and I'm still not familiar with many things, so I will not be able to focus on becoming strong asap, but I promise that I will help you achieve your dreams."

(*Ding* William you don't need to worry about time. The moment Uchiha Itachi was pulled out of his dimension, the time in his dimension stopped flowing completely in respect to your dimension. William you can take all the time you want to get strong enough to help Uchiha Itachi.)

"Umm, Saphira couldn't you have told me that before I gave my hot-blooded speech full of passion?!"

William calmed down his embarrassed mind, took a deep breath, looked at Itachi in a helpless manner and said, "Well now you can rest assured. Even if I don't get strong enough I'm pretty sure you can use this extra time to become stronger than anyone else in your universe."

William turned around to walk down from the circular platform before coming to a sudden stop.

"Oh yeah! Before I forget, this is Rie. I hope you can be good friends with her. She is still a child, so treat her well. And no talks about hatred in front of her!" I gave Itachi the 'look' I learned from Claudia.

Itachi gave a quick and sharp nod to show his understanding. Satisfied William continued his exit from the platform. But what he didn't know was that an even bigger surprise awaited him. As soon as Itachi's feet touched the grass of the dragon farm a completely unexpected notification popped up.

(*Ding* Detected broken DNA in a friendly being.

[Extracting broken DNA]

[Analyzing broken DNA]

[Trying to find a solution to fix the broken DNA]

[Best solution found ---> Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan]

[Host creature will be unconscious for 24 hours so that the DNA can be improved.]

[Advising host creature to lay down.]

[Commencing process.]

William you can fuse two bloodlines with yourself right now. Would you like Sharingan / Uchiha to be one of them?)

And Saphira blew away William's mind one more time. William promised himself that he would never get surprised either Saphira's or Dragon Farm's actions from now. If he kept on being surprised so much, he would die from a heart attack before even reaching his twenties.

As for whether he wanted to have a Sharingan? The answer was obvious...
