6 The Reward

That next morning after Kalmin talked to the great elder. Then the clan leader and Kalmin went to meet the princess. The clan leader luo Lang took him to speak with the king. His name was dang San.

luo Lang kneeling "Hello sire." stands "I would like to make a request."

The King "What is it that you would like to request." luo Lang beckons to Kalmin

Kalmin "I would like to request to marry your daughter Astrid."

The King "Are you sure about the decision? If you truly want it than I will allow it. If she doesn't go against the idea."

The King "I she is still willing to marry you at the age of 12 than I will throw you a grand wedding."

The King later threw a betrothal party in honor of his daughter an Kalmin. Kalmin and the clan leader went back to the clan and announced the news. The Great elder held up on his end of the deal and allowed Kalmin to take 3 books of martial Arts and magic. But before he entered the Great elder tested his magic veins. Kalmin had a tier 5 lightning and tier 5 fire veins he also had water wind and earth tier 4 veins.

Kalmin entered the library of martial Arts books. He felt drawn to a specific section. It was beckoning him to come. He could hear a voice bringing him to to this book. He entered a dead part of the library that was dusty and covered in cobwebs. Then he saw it. A glowing book.

"Is this what has been calling out to me." He thought to himself. "The Dragon Technique. "Is this book cover made out of Dragon hide"

He dropped it on the floor. The pages started to flip on their own. it landed on one page.

"The book is trying to tell me something." Kalmin said allowed

Kalmin got closer to the book and hesitated for a moment and waited. then he picked up the book and he started reading.

"Only a Dragon can learn this technique. this is useless to me then." Kalmin said

all of a sudden the cover of the book combined with his skin. "what is happening." he felt extreme heat and pain. He made it back tho the slave house and he then passed out because he couldn't bear the pain anymore.
