202 Ch. 202: Vegeta's Intense Training Regiment

"Nappa... are you telling me that they had Frieza's brother by the throat, and they gave him a bean and allowed him to escape?!" Vegeta seethed, sitting across the table from Nappa at Capsule Corp.

"They gave him the inferior beans that Kakarot has been growing at Legacy. Not the ones that fully heal all injuries. Apparently, he lost an arm and a leg to Gohan's attack." Nappa explained to Vegeta that Cooler had been severely and permanently weakened by his fight against the young half-Saiyan, but Vegeta wasn't having it.

"He's a Frost Demon, Nappa! You let them go and they come back like cockroaches! Both of them, it's just a matter of time!" With his outburst, Vegeta's fist went through the table, obliterating it in its entirety with overwhelming, Saiyan force.

"WAAH WAAH!!" In response to Vegeta's outburst, Nappa's arms, or rather, the baby in them, began crying loudly.

"Vegeta!" Nappa chided his old acquaintance, rocking the baby in his arms, trying to calm it down, "hush, hush, calm down, little Junior, it's okay, your daddy just lost his temper a bit, it's okay..." Nappa said everything he could to try to calm the baby in his arms, Vegeta Jr, down.

"He's a Saiyan. He'll calm down in time." Vegeta told Nappa, brushing off the crying as Junior began to calm down.

"Tough like his father." Nappa muttered.

"He'll grow fast. I just wish his brother was as fast as he was!" Vegeta banged his fist against his thigh this time, since the table wasn't there anymore. That was the source of his anger at the moment, not Cooler. As stressful as it was to know that there were two angry Frost Demons out there waiting for Earth's protectors to be in a weakened state, Vegeta knew that quite a few of Legacy's Captains were as strong as, or stronger than final form Frieza nowadays, so if they were attacked by them, they'd be hard pressed to lose, but knowing that his wife was inside right at the moment, having his second child... it was the most stressful thing that had ever happened to Vegeta, and it wasn't even happening to him.

Bulma had gone into labor nearly twelve hours ago, and it'd already been four hours since Vegeta's first son, Vegeta Jr, had been born. Originally, they'd wanted to name the first son Trunks, and the second son Vegeta Jr, but the moment that the child had been born, the names had been switched.

Junior looked almost exactly like his father. Hairstyle, skin tone, eyes, nose, even the scowl that he had when he cried was exactly like his father's. The idea of him inheriting a different name felt wrong for Bulma and Vegeta, so they didn't even have to talk about it before naming him after his father.

But as for the other son... "Vegeta, he's finally here! Meet your second little boy, Trunks!" Dr. Briefs came out onto the balcony with a bundle of baby in his arms, before handing it off to Vegeta.

"Trunks..." Vegeta looked down at his second son, in his arms. Grey eyes and an infectious smile. He could see some of his features in this child, too, but his general appearance seemed to take more after his mother than Vegeta. Either way, he was Vegeta's son. They both were... and...

"Take the child." Vegeta thrust the child into the arms of Bulma's mother. As airheaded as she was, she loved babies.

"Where are you...? Aand he's gone." Dr. Brief began to ask Vegeta where he was going, but Vegeta had already jumped off of the balcony and disappeared. In another moment, his question was answered.

"I think he's there..." Nappa told the doctor as the spaceship that Vegeta had parked in their lawn and then not used once in the last two years turned on and blasted off, leaving the Earth's atmosphere a moment later, bound for who-knows-where.

"He just left these two adorable babies?" Bulma's mother asked, surprised.

Nappa smirked in response. "That man... he's really bad at this sort of thing, huh?" He remarked.

...

Vegeta wasn't getting strong enough on Earth, and he knew it. Legacy allowed him to do far more intense training that he would be able to do anywhere else, but it still wasn't enough. Kakarot's children, both of them, apparently, had become Super Saiyans, Vegeta couldn't even beat a single Legacy Captain anymore with that damned Silver Mode technique. He was hitting a wall, and his rage at not being able to scale it wasn't enough to push him to the next level yet.

Blasting through space, in some random direction, Vegeta chose to temporarily stop on some dead planetoid outside the Milky Way Galaxy while he figured out where to go next. Bringing up a list of all known inhabited and inhabitable planets that he could train on. His first thought was to go to Yardrat. The techniques that Kakarot had learned on that planet may be able to help with this block... but on the other hand, taking a chapter from that idiot's book annoyed Vegeta to no end.

There was a planet near the I-7 system that was known to have hellish conditions, with gravity nearly a hundred times that of Earth, barely breathable atmospheres filled with volcanic ash from the innumerable amount of active volcanoes on the surface, or Vegeta could go for fighting against numbers, attacking the Frost Demons' empire one planet at a time, using as little power as possible... Choices, choices...

But just as Vegeta began to make his choice, the ship rumbled, shaking with enough violence to knock him off of his feet. Getting his bearings, Vegeta popped to his feet as quickly as possible, rushing outside with the force of a hurricane, just barely holding his energy back enough to avoid damaging the ship any more than it already had been.

"Oh!"

Vegeta swore. There was a dent in the surface of his ship, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was the sky. It was filled with meteors, and they were all coming down towards the surface of the planetoid that Vegeta and his ship were on.
