10 RESCUE MISSION

Everyone is shocked by what they just saw Shallot do.

"Wow, that kid just became even scarier." Oolong says.

"You said it." Yamcha adds.

Roshi steps forward in acknowledgment and smiles.

"It took me fifty years to develop that technique, and this boy learns it in seconds. Truly amazing."

A jealous Krillin runs up to Shallot, grabs him by the shirt and starts shaking him.

"How did you do it?" Krillin frantically asks.

"Get off." Shallot replies.

"I've been training for three months and you just do it on your first try!" Krillin yells, continuing to shake him.

"Seriously, let go." Shallot keeps saying.

"It's not fair, it's so not fair!" Krillin continues to yell with tears in his eyes.

"Get your hands off of me." Shallot says.

At that moment a missile explodes nearby them, sending the two flying. Shallot hits his head on a rock, knocking him out.

"Shallot!" Bulma yells.

A bunch of small helicopters with guns then surround everyone else. Red Ribbon soldiers get out of the helicopters and aim their guns right at Bulma, Yamcha, Roshi, Oolong, and Puar as they immediately put their hands up.

"Hand over the dragon balls, or we shoot." One of the soldiers demand.

Bulma immediately gives them the dragon balls, including the one around Roshi's neck.

"I don't have any problems with that." She says.

A general then steps up and takes the dragon balls with a smile.

"Take them with us. They'll be our prisoners."

They all then walk off, leaving Shallot, Krillin, and the dragon radar behind.

A few hours later, Shallot opens his eyes to a sunset. He quickly sits up and clutches his head.

"Damn it, I dropped my guard. That can't happen again." He says to himself.

He gets to his feet and looks around, not seeing anyone around.

"That Red Ribbon group must have taken them."

Shallot then picks up the dragon radar and hears snoring. He walks over and sees an unconscious Krillin on the ground. Shallot sighs then kicks him in the side. An angry Krillin gets up to his feet.

"Hey! Why the hell did ya do that for?!" Krillin yells.

"Your master, and my group were taken by the same guys who were shooting at us."

A surprised and frightened look appears on Krillin's face.

"Then- what do we do." He asks.

A determined look appears Shallots face.

"I'm going to get them back. And beat anyone who gets in my way."

Krillin is shocked.

"Are you crazy? These guys have an entire army. With guns. You can't take them head on."

Shallot clenches his fist as memories of planet Vegeta flashes in his mind.

"I don't care. I won't let them die too."

Krillin stares at Shallot in silence as the Saiyan prepares to leave.

"Wait. I'm- I'm coming with you. They took my master, so I have to go with you to save him." Krillin says as his face turns blue.

Shallot smirks then hovers over the ground.

"Fine. Jump on." Shallot says pointing to his back.

Krillin is shocked by Shallot being able to fly as he begins to shake.

"You know, walking isn't really that bad." Krillin argues.

"Shut up and come on already."

Shallot grabs Krillin by the back of his shirt and flies off at top speed, causing Krillin to scream his head off.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gero laughs devilishly as all seven dragon balls are gathered infront of him.

"Finally! The dragon balls are mine! World domination is within my grasp!"

The general standing behind him smiles.

"Indeed. What should we do with our prisoners, Doctor?"

"We'll dispose of them later. Right now, it's time to summon the-"

The evil Doctor is then interrupted by an alert on his computer.

"Sir, there's seem to be two kids heading to our base." A soldier says over a radio.

Dr. Gero gets annoyed.

"So what! Send a few soldiers to intersect them before they reach the gate!"

"Well that's just it, sir. They are... flying."

The general and the doctor are surprised by this, then looks at the video feed and sees Shallot flying fast towards the base, holding Krillin. The general is shocked by this.

"That's the boy who blew away our fleet of submarines! I thought he was killed by a missile."

Gero gets angry by this.

"Shoot them down, now! No one will get in the way of our plans of dominance!"

The general nods and run off.

As Shallot and Krillin continue flying, with Krillin almost throwing up.

"ArE We ThErE YeT?" Krillin asks.

Shallot looks at the dragon radar.

"Just a few more minutes. Try not to die until then."

Shallot then looks up and sees aircraft's flying towards them.

"Oh crap." Shallot says.

Krillin gets worried.

"Oh crap? What does oh crap means?"

Krillin looks over and sees the hovercraft preparing their guns.

"Oh crap." Krillin says.

The hovercrafts shoot but Shallot ducks down, flying low to avoid the bullets causing Krillin to scream. The crafts follow behind them, still shooting rapid fire bullets. Shallot maneuvers around the gun fire as Krillin continues to scream. The young saiyan then looks up and sees an entrance into the Red Ribbon base.

"Hang on!" Shallot tells Krillin.

"Oh great, there's more." Krillin replies.

Shallot rockets up towards the entrance, creating a large wave of water. The aircraft's fly through the water and follows them into the entrance tunnel. Shallot notices this and starts getting annoyed.

"Krillin, get on my back."

Krillin is confused and worried, but he does what he says. Shallot then starts to build up red energy in his hands again.

"KA! ME! HA! ME! HA!"

He fires the red Kamehameha at the hovercrafts, destroying them all. Krillin then laughs.

"Nice job, I knew keeping you around was a good idea."

Shallot smiles, then the two notices smoke and fire coming towards them. As Krillin panics, Shallot quickly flies away, while the fire is right behind them. They finally fly up out of the tunnel, as the ground of the RR base explodes. The explosion knocks them to the ground and alerts the Red Ribbon Army. Shallot and Krillin get to their feet and sees soldiers and tanks coming towards them.

"Oh man, this doesn't look good." Krillin says slowly backing away.

Shallot then steps forward without any hesitation or fear.

"Krillin, go find the others and the dragon balls. I'll handle these guys."

Krillin is shocked.

"But that's- suicide. You can't take all of this on by yourself."

Shallot turns to him and smirks.

"Relax. I'll be just fine."

Krillin can't help but believe what Shallot is saying and takes off running in the other direction.

"You better not die, Shallot!"

Shallot nods and cracks his knuckles.

"So, whose first?"
