81 Chapter 81 V.5 Start

Just a head's up, there are two parts to this volume, the first part is 9 chapters and it will only be about Mia. The second part is 10 characters and will explain what happened to Earth after Sage used the Black Star Dragon Balls. So in this volume, there will be no Sage, and no DBS, so if anyone doesn't like it wait till Volume 6 as that will be when I return back to Sage.

Somewhere above Earth just outside its atmosphere, what looks like a wormhole in space appears, and right when it appeared a little girl with pink fur and a tail emerges from it. Getting a better look you would be able to tell that the little girl is current heavily injured, she has deep gashes all over her body, with some even exposing her bones, and her fur seems to have been burnt off in many different places, even though the little girl is gravely injured, she is still alive, but barely.

While the unconscious little girl floated in space, she was slowly getting pulled by Earth's gravity, and eventually, she entered its atmosphere. When she did her body got caught on fire like a meteorite, but even with her terrible condition, the fire couldn't harm her whatsoever. She continues falling to Earth for several minutes until she finally hits the ground in a forest, causing severe damage to anything in the vicinity and creating a vast crater.

Granny-'Haa, I really miss you guys. Maybe I should just end it, so we can finally reunite?'

While I was sulking in depression over my dead family and contemplating whether to just end my life, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shooting star, and since it was dark outside it shined bright. Looking at it I decided to act childish for once and wish for something I knew was Impossible, but something I would do anything for.

Granny-"I wish I could have my family back."

Opening my eyes after saying my wish, I mockingly laughed at my stupidity while I could feel tears threatening to slide down my face, wiping my eyes with a handkerchief, I gaze back onto the shooting star. But when I do I notice that it seems far brighter than before and that it looks bigger as well, thinking that my old age might be catching up for me to be imagining things, I carefully watch the shooting star. While I do, I can see it getting larger and at an increasingly fast pace, panicking, I stand up and go inside my log cabin, to try and call the police or someone who would know what to do in this situation, but when I pick up the phone, I suddenly hear a giant explosion along with a violent quaking that causes my entire cabin to shake, almost making me lose my footing.

Granny-"W-Was that a meteor? Haa, who knows, it could've been anything in this world. We have people who can fly, run faster than the speed of sound, and even people who can destroy buildings easily, I need to stop thinking like a normal person, life isn't like when I was young anymore."

With the phone still held in my hand, I look out my window into the area where I think the meteor or something else crashed, and between my phone, before I set the phone down and decide to explore it myself.

Granny-'What could go wrong? Even if I do die, it won't be so bad, I'll finally be able to see my husband and kids again.'

Walking to the storage room, I grab a lantern and put on some shoes before I leave my cabin and walk in the direction where the object crashed at. It took about 15 minutes of walking before I managed to get close enough to see the large crater, looking around at the destroyed part of the forest and pieces of the ground on fire still, I slowly made my down the crater, making sure not to fall and hurt myself.

Granny-"Well that could've been worse, but I hope it's not too difficult to climb back out."

Once I made it to the bottom of the crater, I looked around for about a minute before spotting nothing, not even a rock, thinking that whatever crashed might've been covered in the dirt or sand, I reach down and start moving the dirt around trying to find anything. After about 5 minutes of searching and dirtying my hands, I suddenly felt something soft but as hard as a rock, somewhat excited that I found something, I start scooping away the dirt with my hands, and once I removed enough dirt, I finally laid eyes on what had crashed down.

Granny-"I-Is that a little girl!?"

Shocked at the face of the little girl covered in dirt, I quickly start removing the dirt around the girl, when I do I'm met with injuries all over her body, and the more dirt I remove the more injuries I see. After 10 minutes I finally managed to remove all the dirt, allowing me to get a full view of her, and while I was shocked to figure out she was most likely not human because no human could survive those types of injuries, let alone crashing into Earth at supersonic speed.

Granny-'Looking at those injuries, she most likely didn't receive them from crashing into the ground, they're not fresh, but to still be alive after all that happened to her is shocking.'

Standing up, I try picking up the little girl but when I do, I can barely lift some of her body, dropping her back on the ground, I try brainstorming what I can do to pick her up.

Granny-'My truck! Usually I wouldn't be able to drive my truck in such a dense forest, but with the crash, I can probably squeeze it through.'

Quickly walking back to my home, I get in my truck and drive to the crash site which didn't take too long but I did hit a few branches, stopping the truck right beside the crater, I turn it around and get out. Walking to the trunk, I open it revealing a built-in winch and a sled that I quickly threw in there, taking the sled out of the trunk, I carefully walk down the crater and set the sled right next to the girl. Taking about 2 minutes to pull her onto the sled, I walk back up to the truck and grab the winch and some rope I luckily had laying in the trunk.

Tying the rope around the seld and the girl so she doesn't fall off, I attach the winch to the sled, making sure it's on there tight, I make my way back up to the truck and activate the winch. When I do it starts pulling the cable in, after about 2 minutes the girl has finally made it out of the crater, and I had to help in the last part so she could get in the back of the truck.

Closing the hatch, I get in the truck and drive back home, driving slowly to not worsen her wounds, once I made it back, I parked the truck in the garage, went inside, and grabbed my old gurney that I used when I was a doctor. Taking it to the garage, I untie the rope around the girl and try my best to not aggravate her injuries while transferring her onto the gurney, once she's on it, I wheel her to my office which I haven't opened since my family left this world.

When we arrived inside, I did everything like I used to do on an injured patient, although when I tried to use a sewing needle on her to close her wounds shut the needle wouldn't pierce her skin, even when I used my full force nothing happened. So I gave up and tried to tape her injuries close, the tape didn't work well but it was the best I could come up with right now, once I finished treating her, sunlight shinned through the window.

Granny-"To think I was up all night, haa, I'm too old for this."

Looking at the little girl all cleaned and bandaged up, I take off my clothes, mask, and gloves, leave the office, and head to my room to sleep.
