164 Chapter 164

Hearing Kami's voice worsened my mood, and as much as I wanted to refute his claim, I knew our fusion was only a matter of time. Kami only has a few months left to live and he can barely even perform his duties as the god of Earth currently, right now he needs Popo's help to move around the Lookout. The only reason why he brought it up now was because of the danger Mira posed, otherwise he would've waited and tried to find a suitable successor.

Clicking my tongue in defeat and annoyance, I fly back to Earth with the little amount of Ki I've regenerated and once I'd entered the atmosphere, I was immediately teleported to the lookout, appearing just before Popo and Kami.

Kami-"It seems the enemy is quite powerful if you ended up like that, even more of a reason to join once more, but before that here is a Senzu bean, it's best if we fuse as quickly as possible."

Swallowing the Senzu bean, instantly afterward my right leg and arm heal back up, along with the rest of the injuries, which gave me a small boost in power but nothing that would make a difference if I were to fight Mira again.

Piccolo-"We may be doing this fusion, but let's get this straight, you're fusing with me, I don't need an old man taking over my body."

Kami-"That was the plan all along Piccolo, I may be a warrior, but my skills pale in comparison to yours, it would be foolish for me if I tried something like that, besides it's not like I could do that even if I wanted to, your power has far outgrown what I thought was ever possible."

While speaking, he slowly walked over to me without Popo's help and placed his hand on my chest.

Kami-"The evil in your heart has all but vanished since the day we separated, I don't need to worry about you ever harming Earth, but who would've thought that the child of your enemy at that time would be the cause of all this."

Piccolo-"Tsk, we don't have all day, so hurry up."

Kami-"Hehe, you're right, my apologies. Mr. Popo, thank you for helping me and staying by my side during my time serving as Kami, and I hope in the near future you can find someone who can succeed in my role as the kami of Earth."

Popo-"I will and It was my pleasure, Kami."

Once Kami finished speaking, he powered up to his full power and started channeling all of his ki through his arm, to his hand, and finally into my body, however, even though his ki was quickly emptied, he continued to channel his remaining life-force, then his body, and lastly his soul, completely fusing with me.

When we had truly fused I had felt myself becoming full or complete, and with that came the increase in power which was incredible, it wasn't comparable to having my potential unlocked, but with the current level of power I had, I didn't think I would still receive such a huge boost in power.

Piccolo-'With this, I will be able to defeat Mira and kill him once and for all.'

Once I had finished doing a quick test of my current power, I quickly launched myself back toward Mira, while a slight smirk accompanied my face.

Arriving back on the red planet much quicker than before, I appear before Mira who is currently standing before Towa's corpse, though the moment he saw me, instead of attacking me, he just gave me a blank look and spoke to me with an emotionless voice.

Mira-"You managed to survive my last attack yet you came back once more, I don't care for your reason, just know that I won't be making the same mistake again. This time you'll die."

Piccolo-"We'll see about that."

Watching Mira transform and launch himself toward me, I wait until he gets close and easily dodge his punch before striking with a vicious kick of my own at his side, leaving him surprised and in pain as he clutches his side.

Of course, I capitalized on my advantage and elbowed the back of his head while also kneeing him in the stomach at the same time, causing him to cough out spit, but when I went for another attack, it seemed like he had enough as he released a burst of powerful ki that pushed me back in the distance.

Mira-"It seems like, you've somehow gotten much more powerful within the last 10 minutes, not something so easily doable."

Piccolo-"I have my ways, now let's stop this chit-chatting and get down to business."

Getting into my fighting stance once more, we both release our full power before charging at each other, starting another round of battle, and most likely the last one.

Blocking Mira's ki wave, I flash around him several times while strategically placing Ki spheres and when I finished I reached my arm forward pointing at Mira, causing all of the previously placed ki spheres to launch themselves at Mira while also expanding, giving him even less room to escape. However, even so, Mira had managed to escape just before the final explosion went off, but not without taking some damage, though instead of trying to take advantage of that chance, I kept my distance since I knew Mira had a powerful regenerative factor like me, so there was a chance this was all a ploy to catch me off guard.

Yet, what weirded me out, was when I saw Mira come charging towards me, I noticed he hadn't healed, I mean given the amount of time that had passed he wouldn't have fully healed, but there should be signs of his injuries healing, however, I noticed none. Taking that into account, we continue battling with Mira, managing to inflict several heavy injuries on him, along with Mira doing the same to me, yet my injuries had healed over the course of the battle, leaving me in top shape.

Dodging one of Mira's kicks, I take that chance and flash right in front of him and prepare to stab my hand right through him while following up with a Special beam cannon I've been charging up. However, something I didn't expect was for my hand to stab right through his chest, destroying his heart in the process.

Piccolo-"Why, why didn't dodge it?"

Mira-"Why should I? I have nothing to live for, my desire to become the strongest being was destroyed and turned into a joke before Sage, and the only thing that kept me motivated was Towa, yet she's already dead. So, what's the point in continuing this fight, even if I managed to win, I would still be without Towa."

Piccolo-"I'm sure there are ways to bring Towa back to life, such as the Dragon balls, so why not fight for that?"

Mira-"Would you guys just sit back and watch me while I try to revive Towa, of course not, so what's the point, just let me die with some pride."

Retracting my hand out from his chest, I watch as he slowly floats over Towa's corpse and lays beside her while holding onto her hand, and a few seconds later, I can no longer sense Mira's ki.

Floating down to their corpse, I used my magic to create a large coffin and placed both of them in there before burying them underneath the sand, and of course, placing a tombstone that read 'Mira and Towa'.
