Chapter 11: A dance with death.

Vocada was now face-to-face with the Vubrothian warrior with the strongest power level he had seen on the planet. Also known as Master Python of the Snake Fist.

Python had taken a fighting stance and powered up, revealing his power level as it capped out at 470 making it just under Vocada's that was sitting at 480.

"Let us begin!" Python shouted as he burst forward, using his energy to speed across the ground as he closed the distance between himself and Vocada in an instant.

Python started strong as he attacked with an elbow strike, followed by a right cross and a barrage of other punches, forcing Vocada on the defensive right away.

Vocada blocked the first elbow strike with his own forearm, clashing with the Vubrothian warrior before he slipped and blocked the other attacks, quickly returning his own with a quick flurry of punches and kicks while he used his energy to float in the air.

Vocada could see that this snake was good, knowing that from his skill level, he had spent his whole life training in martial arts, proving that he would be a difficult opponent to deal with indeed.

"Ha!" Python yelled out, using both of his arms to attack with a Yamazuki attack, aiming for Vocada's stomach and face at the same time.

Vocada lifted his knee and crossed his arms over his face to block the attack, being forced to then duck as the Vubrothian used his tail to attack with too, having aimed for Vocada's head with a nice spin attack.

Vocada quickly retaliated with a front kick that landed flush on the Vubrothian's face, kicking him into the air before Vocada rushed up to attack him with another shot.

However, Python flipped around and used his large and thick tail to wrap around Vocada, taking him by surprise with the attack.

"I've got you now!" The Vubrothian yelled, using his large and powerful tail to squeeze Vocada tightly.

"Arghh!" Vocada yelled out, feeling the powerful grip of Python's tail as he tried to crush him with the force of it. 

Having no other option, Vocada opened his mouth and sank his teeth into Python's tail, biting down as hard as he could, almost taking a chunk out of it.

"ARRRR!!!" The Vubrothian yelled out, releasing his grip just enough for Vocada to wriggle free before he slammed a punch into his face, knocking him back through the air.

Python slowed himself with his Ki, wiping some blood away from his mouth as he looked at Vocada with interest.

"You are certainly the strongest warrior I have ever faced." Master Python said as he crossed both of his arms over his chest.

"However, how will you handle this!" He then said, concentrating for a second before two more arms burst out from his back, giving him a total of four arms.

"That is gross..." Vocada said, watching as Python flicked away the skin and slime from his new arms, not knowing that they could do something like that.

"Four-arm snake art!" Python suddenly yelled before he rushed toward Vocada, attacking with all four of his arms at once, showing a large increase in his speed and amazing technique.

Vocada struggled to block his attacks, feeling as if every time he blocked or deflected one attack, two more would appear out of nowhere, putting him on his back foot before he finally lost track of the attacks.

Python broke through Vocada's guard, landing a barrage of punches to his face and body before he used his bottom arms to grab Vocada's upper arms, holding Vocada in place while he punched him one after the other with his two free arms.

"Take this!" Python yelled out as he linked his arms together before he smashed a powerful sledgehammer strike down to the top of Vocada's head.

Vocada was sent hurling to the ground where he smashed into the rocks hard, kicking up a large amount of dust and debris, looking as if he had been hurt badly from the attack.

Suddenly a powerful blue energy beam blasted out of the dust as it headed right toward Python, surprising him a little.

"HAA!" The Vubrothian yelled, powering up with a burst of white energy around his body before he used both arms on his right to slap the energy beam away, sending it flying off into the distance where it exploded.

However, Vocada quickly appeared behind Python, having only used the energy blast as a distraction and not as a last resort to damage him.

Python was a little slow to react and caught a kick to his face, this time being the one who crashed into the ground.

Vocada floated in the air while he wiped some blood away from his nose, watching as Python got back up to his feet, not looking bad at all after taking a barrage of hits like that.

"Not bad boy... Not bad at all." The Vubrothian said while dusting himself off, looking up at Vocada from below.

"However, I think it is time to bring this fig..." Python began to say.

-SMASH-

Vocada had other plans about letting him start monologing which would then lead to a power-up sesh. No, Vocada wasn't going to let him waste time and power up. Instead, he took advantage of the situation and slammed his right hand into the snake's face as hard as he could, sending him flying through the air before he chased after him, attacking with a powerful barrage of punches and kicks all over his body.

"W-Why you!" The Vubrothian yelled out, catching another four-punch combo to his body before Vocada slapped a roundhouse kick into his jaw, sending him crashing into the ground like a rag doll with his face skidding across the gravel.

"This is what you get for letting your guard down!" Vocada yelled as he crushed his boot into the Vubrothian's face the moment he stopped, pinning it to the ground before he charged a powerful energy blast into his hand.

"Now die!" Vocada yelled, causing the Vubrothian to scream out in anger before the blue energy blast created a powerful explosion that covered both of them.

The blast was huge, creating a massive explosion that caused the rockface they had been fighting on to be blasted to pieces, collapsing the whole thing.

Vocada could be seen floating in the air as the smoke dissipated, gazing down at his handy work and eager to see what his scouter had to say.

Was that really enough the finish him... He thought, watching as the scouter searched the area of his power level.

Beep beep beep...

"There he is," Vocada said, seeing that he was still very much alive.

Python was standing on the ground as he pulled a larger rock off of him, throwing it aside enraged at what had just happened.

"W-Why you bastard... I'm not going to play around with you anymore!" He yelled, not wasting any time as he began to power up.

"Shit..." Vocada said, not being able to get to him in time as he watched the numbers on his scouter start to spike.

"No choice!" Vocada yelled out as he pumped as much energy as he could into an energy wave, firing it down toward Python.

"HHHHAAAA!!!" Master Python roared, letting a burning white aura of Ki burst to life around his body before his muscles grew larger and fuller, giving him a much more youthful appearance.

Vocada watched as his energy attack exploded, knowing that it still wouldn't be enough to take the old bastard out.

"This isn't good..." Vocada said as the scouter was now displaying a power level of 940, having literally doubled with his power up.

"I should have made sure he was dead when I had the chance... I can't face him like this, I'm going to need to make a run for it." Vocada said, knowing it was best to retreat and fight another day as he tried to use the cover of his blast to make a run for it.

However, as he turned around, the Vubrothian suddenly appeared in front of him, causing Vocada to crash into his larger chest muscles, bouncing off of them in surprise.

"You aren't going anywhere." The Vubrothian warrior hissed, causing Vocada to watch wide-eyed as he slammed a punch into his face, causing his cheeks to jiggle from the hit.

Vocada was hit so hard that he flew back through the air, unable to even process what had just happened.

"That's not all!" Python yelled as he appeared behind Vocada while he was still sailing through the air and grabbed the back of his head, flying down with his body before slamming his face into the ground, returning the favour.

"This is my full power!" The Vubrothian yelled out before he slapped Vocada with his tail, sending him skidding along the ground like a rag doll before his body was stopped by crashing into a rock, knocking the wind out of him even more.

"F-Fuck..." Vocada said, feeling the pain in his body firing all at once in his brain.

Vocada's vision was getting fuzzy as he watched Python sliver toward him, standing before him with his large frame that even blocked out the sunlight.

"Ha!" Python yelled as he punched Vocada in the stomach.

"ARGH!" Vocada cried out in pain, being sick from the force of the attack with his scouter also falling off of his face.

"Ha!" Python yelled again, this time smashing a punch into Vocada's face, followed by another one and another one, beating Vocada black and blue until his blood soaked the rocks that he was embedded in.

"You sure are a tough creature." Master Python said, feeling impressed that Vocada was still conscious after the beating he had just given him, looking at the mess that had been his face.

"But, I am afraid I cannot allow you to live," Python said before he grabbed Vocada by the hair and pulled him from the rocks.

"Arghhh!" Vocada cried out from the pain of being moved, feeling his body scream out in protest that he almost couldn't bear it anymore.

"Say your goodbyes, monster!" Python yelled as he swung Vocada around by his hair, launching him into the air where he watched him sail high into the sky.

Vocada was unable to move and was even having trouble breathing as he strained to keep his eyes open a little longer, watching as the black sky began to appear in his view. Vocada took one final glance at the sun knowing this would be his last opportunity to do so.

"Now die!" Master Python yelled out as he fired a powerful Ki blast from two of his hands, aiming it at Vocada to finish him once and for all.

"I-I guess... T-This I-Is the E-End..." Vocada said with a smile on his face, looking deep into the light of the sun.

It was fun while it lasted... Vocada thought as the sun he was looking at caused him to get a strange feeling that spread through his body.

"W-Wait a S-Second... T-That I-Is no s-sun..."
