18 Briter
After obtaining the location of the house of the scientist named Briter, I decided to go quickly to the place.
There is no time to lose. This planet is in danger. Nothing assures me that in a few minutes Frieza's army will not appear and they will try to conquer the planet.
Keeping in mind that Frieza's army possesses the most feared warriors in the entire universe, their level of power may be something I can not face.
To face an enemy that is several times stronger than me, I may have to appeal to external resources to my martial training to defeat them. Also, my priority is to protect the Tartadians by all possible means. I doubt that the Yardratians will aprobe my mission if the Tartadians are extinguished.
Certainly, as a martial artist, I would like to face enemies stronger than me, however, in this situation I have to protect this planet therefore I can't lose.
Being defeated in my first serious combat as a martial artist is not a good start for my legacy in this world.
Obviously my defeat would cause my death and the death of all of tartadians in this planet.
Despite my honor as a warrior, lifes are more important to me. So although in other circumstances
I will only use my natural strenth, I can not risk so many lifes.
Looking for a way to make my plan work and be able to save the Tartatians, I decided to visit the scientist Briter.
Following the information I got, it does not take long to get Briter's home.
It was a house away from the multitude of buildings, it was floating in the sea and it was difficult to appreciate since it was painted in blue. The architecture is similar to that of an igloo but bigger.
I flew slowly to the entrance of the house and I positioned myself in front of the door. A few seconds later, a drone left the house through a small window.
The drone was swinging from left to right until it managed to position itself in front of me.
"Friend or enemy?" the drone ask with robotic voice.
The drone was really confusing, I guess because of my clothes and that I do not have blue skin, it make me unrecognizable. Also it seems that it is not a very advanced robot, I hope that Briter really is a great scientist and that this drone is only a prototype.
After the drone began to spin over itself (I think is broken), the door in front of me open.
A tartadian, looking very old, apear; he was wearing a lab coat. The tartadian walked slowly toward me.
"It seems is broken again. Tell me, representative of the yardratians, why have you come to my humble house? I guess you are no only here to overheat my drone" said Briter sarcastically.
I was really surprised, this man had recognized me with a glance, even thogh I was not wearing my representative clothes, which mean he is aware about everything that happens on the planet even living in a isolated home.
"Hello, my name is Sarck, I'm sorry about the drone but I need help" I said calmly and a little worried.
"I see, pass inside and let`s talk" said Briter.
The house is full stuff, papers, components, computers all over the place, considering the disorder he does not seen boder about it. I guess he is using the house as his laboratory, I would say is the opposate to Dr.Brief's lab.
I followed him around the disorder, until we got to a room completely clear. He ask me sit and explain him the situation.
I discribed why I thought the planet was in danger and I needed his help to ensure the survival of the Tartadians.
Briter doubted me at firts, but I manage to convince him that my intentions were honest.
"So tell me, why do you need my help?" Briter said.
"I hear you are great scientist" I said calmly.
"I flattered that you think that, But dont you think you should find a scientist aprobe by the king." Briter said
"I trust yours skills" I said
"Well tell me boy, what can I do for you?" He said
"I need you to help me to build a bracelet" I said
"A bracelet?" He said
"I am a warrior who trains to use his own vital energy (popularly known as ki) in combat. Ki is like any other energy and as far as I know, Roch'tr stones have the capacity to multiply the energy that they absorb. I need your help to create a bracelet that allows me to multiply the energy that I expel, "I said calmly.
"It seems like an interesting project, I'll see what I can do." Briter said excitedly.
I really hope that I can create some kind of weapon that allows me to perform some attack with which I can hurt enemies stronger than me, although it is still to be seen if the ki can interact with the Roch'tr stones.
