1 WE ARE OUT OF TIME

"Go, take kakarot and run towards the tower!", it's Bardock heavily breathing and very impatient. "No! No I can't just leave you alone out here!!", Gine replied with a worried face. The whole place is turning upside down it's like the planet is gobbling itself up and there is something red in the sky something becoming bigger, as all the scrapers and bridges are collapsing, "Don't be stupid Gine, we have to protect him I will buy you the time just please go!", Bardock begged as he turned around and looked up the sky, "this might be the last times of the planet and us, but it must not be the last times for the for him". Gine looked down helpless, worried that she might not see her husband again, she takes a deep breathe, "fine I will take him to the ship, you please be careful!". She goes to a floating bike, she ties kakarot to her back with a rope as tightly as she could, he is still asleep. She looks back at Bardock as he flew away in the sky, he looks back at her, "hurry the gravity is collapsing!!". She starts the bike now, it's very fast, fast enough to make it through all the sky scrapers and structures that fell on them. It was blazing until the gravity became severe, the bike slowed she is still distanced from the tower. She gets off the bike in a hurry she runs on a bridge that connects the tower to her position as she tries to jump in air, helpless, unable to fly, the bridge is also collapsing she sees her hand, a bracelet like device which showed,

She realised she couldn't fly, the decimating bridge is coming near, she is restless, she then runs towards the collapsing bridge as fast as she could and jumps in what looked like an abyss, a pitch black never ending hole down the core. She looks at the tower and folds her hand, she shouts as she falls,

'GALICK GUN!!'

The attack reaches the tower when she hoops on it as fast as she could using her ki blasts on one hand while she comforted her baby with the other, the collapsing structures were all falling on her but she avoided it all, she knew that she has to reach the tower and she must hurry for it. She goes to the top floor running and panting as fast as she could, the bracelet was all red now,

The tower was strong it stood up irrespectively, a pod leaves the tower when it opens the chamber with clear sky on one and a red ball on the other, before she could reach. She could just hope it's not the last one. She gets on top, there is one more smaller pod left, she quickly unties kakarot and puts him in it, the kid, awake looks at her closing the pod gate. She types the destination on the pod channel, "This thing has power against all gravities.....this will take you somewhere…..somewhere life exists, you are my biggest achievement son". The chamber of the tower opens again and she could see the red ball of death in the sky is closing in on them, she puts her hand on the pod as it powers up, "promise me you won't forget me son...... just a glimpse of me........ Please have me in your dreams. You must get back, you have a big task to do, promise you will protect your brothers, they'd love you, truly they will. You must get stronger". The pod flies in the sky shaking as the gravity pulled it back, the ball closed up on the planet, Gine saw her end in it, she stands in front of the blast, "you....you fucking bastard, you will pay for this..... mark my words you traitor, with all the gods that existed, with all the planets you gobbled, my son…. My pride will make you kneel someday just as helpless as we are right now, he might not remember us but you will beg, you will pray for your death just like this. He won't kill you, he will leave you alive.... knowing that there is someone in the universe you can't defeat will kill you everyday!!"

The blast is clean in front of her as her body starts to tear up, she looks on the other end of the sky, ".. you are meant to be big, please don't forget who you are.... I wish we had more time there was so much more to us.....to our family". The planet breaks in half, then in four parts and goes on till there is nothing but dust left floating in the space and the red tall monster stood looking down on it, "Is that all the entertainment you saiyans could do? What a shame".

It's fair enough for Goten's school, I hope Chichi is satisfied", he plays the radio on the capsule Corp he was given by Bulma, "and folks, the west city is looking as lovely as it gets today with a gorgeous weather, today will be the Randosel tower's inauguration and that will be done by none other than Bulma Briefs herself, yes she will be amongst the crowd when the tower starts", he was looking out the window when all the voices just disappeared, "man, I wish I could get back to training. I bet Vegeta is working out more now, after all he wants to achieve ultra instinct too". He was so immersed in the sky that when he got his senses back the radio was not working, " oh god did I broke it?! Oh man Bulma will scream at me so hard", he turned the dial changed the frequencies nothing but interruptions, "this.....city......is....." The radio completely stopped and he reached home too, "Dad! You are back!", Goten ran leaving the field work to hug his dad, "Ah, hey there little guy I am back", ha came out of the Corp bent and hugged Goten, " so can we play now?", Goten looked curious as Goku looked at his house, "we will Goten but first where is your mom?".

"So you are back finally huh? You better had sold everything Goku", chichi surprised him from behind, "Y-Yes of course I did chichi", he said as he handed over the money to her, "here you go, 120000 Zeni in total". She still did a count while he smiled a little, "okay that's good, but I also got one more problem Goku, its the television, it's not catching any signal". The clear weather, got darker all of the sudden, it looked like it will rain heavily, "it probably is the weather darling, the same thing happened to the radio in the Corp too", they looked at the sky, "Yeah, I guess it's the weather, I will get all the clothes inside may be you two could help me with it?", she looks down again and they vanished, "oh my God there is no food for you two today!!!"

"Yes sir, Gohan speaking, the deal is to be confirmed after my presentation tomorrow in the meeting", the call replied, "uhh..... What? Deal? Presentation?". "Hello, are you there sir?", Gohan asked as he sat on his desk taking out files, "hello? Hello?". The call disconnected. "what is happening?" he mumbled as he put his phone down and went downstairs, "Videl is not even home yet, no signs of piccolo too", he opened the window and the west city is full of thunders now, it was about to rain hard, "God, I think I should head out and find them".

He took his coat out, wore the training attire and flew in the air, high reaching skies as he looked down, the tower's inauguration is about to start. He sees Videl at the inauguration with pan and Bulma, Bulma walked out to the stage for the ribbons, "Ladies and Gentlemen, after the hideous tragedy that occurred in West city and the giant monster destroyed the tower, we at the capsule Corp thought of reinventing it's structural integrity and reopening the tower...", Videl and pan looked all curious as a hand came on her shoulder, she, scared looked back, "Hey guys, what are you doing out here alone? I thought we will be watching the ceremony at home together". "Oh my God Gohan, you scared me, we can't watch it at home, for some reason the signals and phone frequencies are not working I am sorry you had to come out here", Videl said as she calmed down and pan was smiling looking at Gohan. The speakers at the ceremony stopped working and everyone panicked as the thunder hits the tower top. A Voice came up after the thunder, "So you came flying into the trap, huh? This will be a piece of cake". Everyone is panicked and Bulma realizes Gohan is here, he gestures her to leave the stage and knows that the message was for him. He turns back to Videl, "sweetheart, I can sense a strange Ki, I want you to go home with Bulma", Videl is panicked as well, "no, we are not leaving". He looks at the sky, " I want you to find Dad, tell him that there is something strange going on in the city please, go!". She stands and the crowd which was panicked separated them apart as they both looked at him, "save yourself and pan". The speakers burst out and soon the ground and the tower was empty, "I know whoever you are, you are here for me", he said gaining altitude in sky, "Yes, you are right I am here for you but for now, Soon we will get your whole family". He sees a mysterious hooded person at the top of the tower, "leave my family out of this", he said as he gained similar altitude to that person, "this is not how you guys do it huh? You need empty space and less property to damage, don't worry it will not just be properties that will be damaged today".

Meanwhile Videl hands pan over to her father and they both look at her fly by across the city, " I will be quick dad" and she flew away. While Goku and Goten were no where to be seen, Vegeta saw his wife hurrying towards him, she was restless and scared, " th-there is a guy Vegeta, something in the city...S-something and.....and.....Gohan is on his own". She was panicked and she hugged Vegeta tightly, " Calm down woman, what is really happening in the city?", he replied as he looked to the clouds getting darker and darker.

"Life exists because we dream, let me kill your dreams", the mysterious man replied as he came closer to Gohan, " Who are you and how do you know me?", Gohan asked as they both powered up and took their stances, " You don't need to know that right now, you just have to see how helpless you are", the man said as he teleported to his back and punched Gohan to the ground, he was not training after the tournament at all, he was weak but he had to buy time, he removed his glasses threw them to the ground and when it reached the ground, it started shaking, the rocks were floating now and he folded his fists, with a loud roar transformed into a super Saiyan, it looked like their eyes met when they both vanished in mid air and one could only see flashes across the city, but one of them was overwhelming the other, the flashes were depicting a clear upper hand, the man overwhelmed Gohan, he felt weak, he was not enough and when the punch landed on his guts Gohan spitted too much blood out, "there you go, that's the limit of you", The man replied to it as he slammed Gohan to the ceremonial ground, " you don't have to die today", he said as he landed on top of Gohan and started punching on his face, one punch created a crater in the ground, another made it bigger and it kept following, " Why don't you call your dad huh? Or your other dad? Or your family? Or perhaps your mommy?", he kept on punching until Gohan went unconscious. He looked to the clouds bursting on them and said," The work for today is done, now it's one down", he gave a smile and as the thunder hits the ground the man disappears in it, after sometime alone, defeated and in pain Gohan gained his consciousness back, he was weak, really weak, he couldn't stand, he reached his hand out in the sky which began raining, " Hurry Videl, we are out of time".

Videl went across the city and their houses, she finally stopped at Korin tower where she finds baba and Goku training Goten, " Geez, little guy you are getting hand on all of that really quickly", Goku said as they both looked at him practicing moves. "Goku!", she was inpatient and scared too, " Videl, what is she doing here?", Goten saw her first and stopped his practice," Goku there is someone is the city.....Gohan is all alone there please come with me". Goku and baba walked towards her as she descended, " what? What happened at the ceremony Videl?". She looked at them and she started tearing up.

Meanwhile Vegeta at the altitude in the city was looking for the same mysterious person gets close to the ceremonial site and under the tower he saw Gohan beaten to almost death, he stood still looking at him when the thunder strikes the north part of the city, "Ah Fuck".
