Chapter 6: Meeting Neighbors

A couple hours later...

(Kakarot POV)

Yesterday, mother basically left me to fend for myself since I instantly learned one of her most powerful move which was basically the tyrant lancer except it was silver in color.

Getting up from my bed, I then quickly grab some casual clothing that mother brought me from the market from within the Kingdom and then I head off into the shower.

Several minutes later....

Wow to think that using my tail while showering would be so helpful in multiple ways. I wonder what mother has planned for our training session today? I hope that it involves more ki techniques since I seem to be a prodigy even among Saiyans or is it because of what seems to be my past memories of the Dragon Ball series? But why was I born into a different universe altogether? Maybe I'll find the answers to those questions one day.

After cleaning myself up, I then put on the casual clothes which could be mistaken for a warrior's outfit but I don't care since it's just clothing. Opening the door while heading downstairs to greet my mother who seems to be in a pleasant mood for some reason.

(3rd Person POV)

Nira can be seen cooking breakfast with a bright smile on her face since she just recently received a call from her old friends saying that they wanted her to visit them just to catch up on old times since their graduation from the academy.

Seeing Kakarot walking down the stairs from the corner of her eye, she then prepares bowls upon bowls of food on the table and Kakarot finds a chair and sits down while he waits for her to done with cleaning up the mess on the stove much to his displeasure since the food smells delicious but he rather wait than ensue her motherly wrath.

'Good to know that he's learned some manners otherwise I would've taken stricter measures.' An ominous aura manifests out of Nira and Kakarot for some reason begins to feel shivers up his spine despite the fact that he didn't even do anything wrong and then turns to see what his mother is presumably doing and what he was feeling a few moments prior vanishes like it never existed.

"Well time to eat!" And immediately in a mannerly way, Kakarot begins to rapidly chow down onto the well-cooked meal and his mother does the same.

A Couple Minutes Later.....

Multiple empty bowls with some crumbs can be seen being washed by Nira as she hums a tone she used to hear during her time in the Sadala Army and Kakarot can be seen doing what seems to be meditating while his tail is positioned straight onto the ground making him look like he is floating.

"Kakarot after I'm done washing these dishes, I'm bringing you to meet some old friends of mine so you can at least be comfortable with other people around although it's been weeks since you know." Inquiring the fact that he was born different from other Saiyans from her gesturing to his tail, Kakarot took no offense to it but instead just smiled and nodded.

"So when are we going?" and Nira who finished washing the dishes immediately responds with "Right now." Both of them head off outside and then take flight into the sky heading towards where Nira presumes where her old friends are located which is actually close to their home.

A couple minutes later...

Nira and Kakarot can be seen landing in front of a house with the design similar to that of a large mud hut.

"Alright we're here and please be nice and don't even ask if you want to fight against them. And even if you did, you'll instantly be bested as they are not far off from me in terms of power. Remember Kakarot, I know that you are determined to become stronger but having a break from time to time will suffice since it will help you relax so you don't hurt your body from overtraining. " Nira then pats Kakarot's head which causes him to feel slightly embarrassed as they both head towards the house.

Once at the front door, Nira then begins to head towards the door 'KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!' She knocks on the door with Kakarot standing right beside her.

After a few seconds, they then begin to hear sounds of rapid footsteps and when the door opens. A small silhouette appears and they are wearing purple type clothing along with long dark grey wristbands, and a pair of pointy dark grey shoes. Their hair is also long, wild, and spiky.

" Hmm.... Who are you? Are you here to fight?" Questions the young child which in turn causes Nira to have a mild surprised look on her face along with a sweat drop since she just told Kakarot to not fight against anyone he meets.

When she turns to look at Kakarot, she can see a small smile on his face almost as if he accepts the challenge while getting into a stance.

"I was just here to visit you and whoever else lives here but since you asked I don-----*BONK!*" Nira hits Kakarot on the head causing the other child to rapidly blink their eyes as Kakarot soothes his head to ease the pain away while looking at Nira whose glaring down at him causing him to shiver a bit in fear.

Nira while pissed off is a bit proud on the inside since her son has already gotten along with someone he just met even if they were going to fight one another.

Before Nira could introduce herself to the child she hears a very familiar voice coming from inside the house. "NOW WHO THE HELL IS AT THE DOOR! CAULIFLA I SWEAR IF YOU INJURED THE MAILMAN AGAIN I"M GONNA---- Wait Nira?!" A woman who wears a dark blue gi with bandaged hands for gloves appears behind the young child who is revealed to be Caulifla's mother comes in sight of Nira as her eyes slightly widen and she then begins to grin softly at seeing her old friend.

"NAZNA!!!" Nira then quickly hugs her tightly seeing her for the first time since their last mission a couple years ago causing Caulifla and Kakarot to look at them with confused looks. But Caulifla turns to look at Kakarot who seemed to be around her age and she couldn't help but stare at his tail.

Before she could ask, "Come on Caulifla, no need to stare at my friend's kid alright? Your too young for something like that. And Kale's waiting for you inside." Hearing her mother, she turns to look at her to figure out what she meant as she and the others then head on inside the house.
