21 Farewell Chiran

A few days had passed since Chiran had reclaimed his throne from his brother, returning his village to its former state. At that time, Mo-Mochi and Balance were allowed to train under the Giras as a reward for their bravery and kindness. The Giras have even said their strength rivals that of dinosaurs. Mo-Mochi and Balance were thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from such skilled warriors.

The training was a bit different for Mo-Mochi; he was used to throwing punches at his dad and rarely getting them back. The Giras, on the other hand, were definitely a bit harsher on him, taking heavy blows that sent him flying across the training grounds. He had noticed something during this intense training that his body had never experienced before: a newfound resilience and endurance. When Mo-Mochi would take serious blows that he shouldn't be able to recover from, he did. Similar to what happened when he fought Balance and took that powerful punch from Kiran, his body had begun to slowly but surely recover from the hit.

He had begun to speculate about how and why this newfound resilience and endurance had developed. Mo-Mochi wondered if it was a result of his illness disappearing, and ever since then, his body had changed, his strength increased, and he still never understood why his hair had not turned pink. Despite his initial doubts, Mo-Mochi couldn't deny the undeniable improvement in his physical abilities. He couldn't help but wonder if there was a deeper connection between his illness's disappearance and the remarkable changes he experienced.

On the other hand, when it came to Balance's training, he did very well. His training partner would always talk about how Balance was a natural and seemed to possess an innate talent for combat. He was determined to always improve and get stronger, and slowly but surely he was making progress. Despite his natural talent, Balance knew that hard work and dedication were essential to truly excelling in combat. He pushed himself to the limit during every training session, constantly seeking ways to refine his techniques and increase his strength. With each passing day, Balance could feel himself becoming a more formidable fighter, ready to face any challenge that came his way.

After some time had passed, Balance and Mo-Mochi finished their training with the Giras and were ready to press on with their work. They packed their belongings and told Chiran goodbye, expressing their gratitude for the Giras' guidance and mentorship. As they began to leave, Balance immediately ran off, excited about what lay ahead and eager to put his newfound skills to the test. Mo-Mochi chuckled and followed closely behind, knowing that Balance's enthusiasm was contagious. Before Mo-Mochi could catch up with him, he was stopped by Chiran as he heard him shout, "Mo-Mochi, wait! He turned around, startled by Chiran's sudden call. He paused and looked back at Chiran, curious about what he wanted to say. Chiran caught his breath and said, "I forgot to give you something important before you go. It's a token of appreciation for your kindness when we met.

Chiran gave him a scroll tied with a blue ribbon. Mo-Mochi's eyes widened with surprise as he accepted the scroll from Chiran's outstretched hand. He carefully untied the ribbon and unrolled the scroll, revealing what seemed to be a technique. Chiran replied with a smile, "It's the Merry-Go-Round-Gum technique, but it's a modified version that I've been working on; I call it Go-Go Gum. To explain it a bit, for a few seconds, it will completely paralyze a foe, but you'll only have a few seconds, so make it count. I thought you might find it useful in your future adventures if you are able to master it." Mo-Mochi's excitement grew, as he had never learned a technique before. It could be fun, he thought.

Mo-Mochi hugs Chiran goodbye and promises to practice the go-go gum technique diligently. Mo-Mochi couldn't wait to test it out in his next adventure and show Chiran how much he had improved. Running off to catch up to Balance, he waves at Chiran goodbye and shouts, "Thank you, Chiran! I won't let you down!" Setting off on whatever new adventure may await him.
