3 Life 3: Hypersonic Lion Tamer

"So you're telling me that you've had this room in your palace that is a pocket dimension with a different timescale when compared to our world, this time dimension or-!"

"*Ahem- Yamcha its called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber- and yes it exists, Krillin it is not a Hypersonic Lion Tamer- Yajirobe stop eating those beans- Chiaotzu stop with the taunting and listen."

"Well then Kami why didn't you tell us about this then!"

Finally, Tenshinhan spoke out with a loud outburst amidst clear hints of repressed anger and anguish-

Seeing this Goku who had his hands on his head nonchalantly felt a little guilty as a small grin made its way on his face.

Turning back to the group he internally slapped himself-

He was the only one who tried using it when he trained for King Piccolo but he never mentioned it to the others- but if he did the whole process would have gone so much easier.

"I'm sorry for the lack of knowledge over such an important asset- Tenshinhan if you want you all can go in and utilise this chamber though it is all up to you!"

"Goku as a child once entered but he came out after 59 minutes as the intensity and pressure in that realm is too strong and unstable a perfect battleground and conditioner for a body.

But seeing as how these Saiyans will arrive in a year armed with explosive power its obvious that the only way we beat these invaders is by well high-intensity training-

And I assume that now is the time to utilise this dimension and finally allow you all to increase your strength."

With that, the old guardian placed his hands on his cane as he hunched slightly as his knees ricketed a sign of his age obvious to all-

With a clear glance at Goku's onyx coloured eyes-

"Goku- my son, do you remember what I told you after the 23rd Budokai- Yes that one, the position of Kami to be handed to you-!"

As Goku thought of this he was slightly feeling a little unnerved-

Kami, that meant responsibility and so much responsibility that it meant he was in charge of billions of lives and their way of life-

He was slightly dazed- 'Could I handle that much stress, to carefully look after my people and their livelihoods, do I have that resolve- I can fight surely and can sustain myself but to have such a position and lord over those below as the sky father-

I don't know...'

Seeing Goku's agnostic stance on the matter- Kami knew he was close he had to do something else and it would go to plan- his child was too pure after all.

"*Cough, *Cough- Argh- I plead my case to you my child for I have not much time on this earthly realm, soon I will ascend to a higher realm and you know it child- surely you felt that presence when you almost died..."

"I'm no longer youthful and my time is coming to an end having overseen this world my adopted home for centuries-

My successor was never found as they all had incredible faults yet you appeared with a shining light deep inside of you that charismatic presence I knew you were the one now It is truly your choice whether to leave the Earth unguarded or taking it into your own palms and spinning the globe for all to live!"

After Kami had said this a little blood poured out of his mouth as it dripped down to the white of his cloth staining it purple-

"The rest is up to you my son- I leave it all in your hands for I am soon to leave this earthly realm- you were like the son I never had and one who made me feel proud of teaching and cultivating...

Farewell Child- and Popo my old friend tend to my warriors for now..."

After this was said his figure soon disappeared as he entered his palace with only the Z-Fighters and Mr Popo left in view-

Goku seeing this scene and hearing his words felt a little piece of his heart crack- this was the third time he felt this emotion called heartbreak-

The first when Grandpa had passed after the monster of the lunar night killed him- the second when Krillin his brother with no blood relation that meant more to him than a blood relative had been killed by the demon kings spawn-

The third time hurt him a lot he couldn't handle emotion well he knew that- the emotions he had were covered through the dull senses he had honed through training - sorrow, happiness, anger, envy and helplessness they were all encompassed by training-

He knew this wasn't healthy he knew that to bottle emotions for so long was not correct he knew one day- for Kami's sake he hopes that day never comes- but one day he would breakthrough with all of those emotions and finally let himself go-

He couldn't handle emotions properly he knew that- he killed his enemies routinely left and right as a child- and as he matured he became merciful or at least that's what he would have thought himself as but he still had that urge to kill and end threats before something tragic happened on his hands.

The other day he had experienced rage in the hospital and he broke out with a small glimpse- but he had resolved that situation as he had his woman he loved with him- she had healed his broken heart-

And though he exploded with great power- it wasn't good he felt guilty and disgusted with himself- that power was pure rage and sorrow-

His emotions all in one finally broke a small piece of the glass that it was stored in and that energy was something barbaric- evil and impure.

His morals felt twisted as a certain bloodlust and an adrenaline rush of rage and constant evolution flooded his senses and then that warmth that hug was what calmed him down and he felt happy- he felt himself returning to normal-

He tried to bottle all of these emotions and she allowed him to release it all.

And that felt good to communicate with the one he loved to stop those silky words and actions but to simply communicate with each other through the use of a face-

She could tell something was wrong with him through his face and his Ki- it wasn't right she knew that and helped.

He realised then that this power that was hiding inside him was potent but deadly and untamed- pure madness and rage was the key to unlock that power.

"Kami- wait I need to talk to you- It's important!"

Asked Goku as he raised his hands shouting to the clouds below-

And as he said that Kami appeared around him instantly before the two disappeared-

"Umm- Goku? I swear he was just here- but he's gone I can't sense his Ki."

Said Yamcha as Krillin looked around and sure enough there was no Goku-

However, this gawking and buffoonery soon ended as Mr Popo cleared his throat-

"Ugh-Ugh- *Ahem, the way to the Time Chamber is to the left and not the right- I suggest you all get yourselves checked out before braving the Time Chamber- I don't want to deal with a bunch of schizophrenics by the end of the day!"

Hearing this Yamcha felt personally wronged as he pointed to his face in a shocked expression- "Me- hah- you'll find better luck finding that in Krillin and his waifu- Ruby-chan!"

"Hey Yamcha- that's a low blow- I swear man that I don't have a waifu- it was just another one of Master Roshi's games he ordered through the internet- it looked pretty good and it was VR so I played it-"

However Tenshinhans eyes all three of them became wide-

Looking at Krillin with a glare and disgust- "F*cking Weeabooo- shut your Buddhist ass and no more of that- We gotta train and finally Krillin stop breaking Master's Remotes!!"

This outburst shocked even Popo- 'To think this one who looks so serious and hardened is annoyed by one who indulges in Animation and Literature- interesting-'

"Well now that you all are done with your outburst Its time to prep you guys up for the Timechamber- We'll begin with you guys trying to take this bell from me- if you win I'll teach you a nifty trick of mine that you'll find incredibly useful- but that is only if you are up for it!"

"But what about Goku-!"

Finally, the emperor spoke as he levitated in the air emitting a regal presence and incredible telekinetic power.

"Oh- he's already proven himself this is for you and not him- I've grown much stronger than that time so be prepared- Kami has entrusted the safety of our world in your hands!"

"Kami- I need your help you see there is this power I have that allows me to glimpse bits and pieces of events that are- or should take place-"

Saying that his face hardened in seriousness-

"This battle against Raditz was supposed to have killed me and the ones who should have appeared was supposed to be me and Piccolo no one else-

But this future that I saw has been overwritten- In my Vision- I saw myself tracking the Snake Way- to train with the King of the North-

He had blueish skin and two antennae-"

Kami calmly nodded as he listened to his successors past few days as he then spoke-

"It seems that you Goku have come to possess the ability of Foresight or Oracle - that allows you to see glimpses of possible futures that can lead to different outcomes-

What you saw was the future that was to exist but you altered it- Altered Time Extremely I guess- by raising your power it allowed you to wake up the others as they tried to help you and thus Raditz sensed these others before you and thus the job was much faster to complete.

This gives us as protectors a better opportunity to protect our people as these visions quite literally save lives-

Goku - this is good- it means that your destiny is to go to the King of the Norths Realm and train there so that when you arrive your power exponentially rises allowing us to defeat the Saiyans!

This means that I can send you all or at least two or three of you to King Kai's place- Thus allowing more training- rival boosts and faster growth- After the 1 day of the Timechamber I'll send the three of you up to the King of the Norths place- but make sure you gain an increase before I take you guys!!"

Thus the conversation ended until- "Kami- once the Saiyans are dealt with I will take your mantle and become the next Kami- though I'll need a lot of training so you better stay alive old man!"

Said Goku as he gave a thumbs-up to the Lord of the Earth before flashing him a great big smile filled with happiness and enlightenment-

He had learnt his lesson and he knew bottling emotions could soon become explosive so he told Kami his troubles and so it felt good to have all of this stress taken off of his chest- he felt good and the boulder that hung atop his chest was turned to dust-

With another smile, he took off and joined the others- to train-

-A Year/Day Later:-

Within this dimension was a flurry of bodies constantly moving as none could be seen to the naked eye-

Punch after punch- kick after kick and blast after blast the land was completely the definition of Chaos- as these madmen rushed at each other attacking with unseen and unmatched ferocity breaking bones- tearing muscles and the such was normal as they all got back up constantly their bodies moved as they began to train incredibly-

Their powers had increased by more than five folds on average and they could feel this strength now theirs coursing through their veins-

"Its time to go, guys- a year is about to end in 30 seconds time in here- so we should get out now-"

Said Tenshinhan as he led the way out and finally opened the door out and there he was blinded by the beautiful scenery outside with the blue skies and the clouds swimming through the blue skies-

The green vibrant plants on the lookout and the delicious air that he couldn't help but taste-

"Boys- I think we did a mad one!"

The Training rate is based on how quick a race grow in a year-

Humans grow by 1.8 times in a year

Sub-human like Tenshinhan grow by 2 times a year

Namekians grow by 2.5 times a year

Saiyans by 2.8 times a year

Rival Boost- is presented as extremely huge and so I have limited it to a mere 3x as if not the story will be complete wank.
