3 MEETING FATHER IN LAW

THE NEXT DAY:

"Why are you stopping me ?"

Ed was on his high pitch_ fighting when the guard stopped him at the white gate, a lavish mansion was awaiting for him.

"Because sir no one is allowed to enter this mansion."

The guard informed him softly yet pleading not to trespass. Perhaps was because of the fear of losing his job.

"Oh yeah, but I'm allowed. Now leave my way."

Ed was consistent to go in as Camilla knew about his arrival. He shoved the guard aside but he grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Sir you can't....."

He was pulling hard as the mighty difference between their physique caused the guard to pull that muscular man with all his might.

Ed stopped right there. And yelled at him agitated.

"Why the hell are you not letting me in. Don't you know I'm Camilla' husband."

The guard ogled him from head to toe in mocking expressions. Blue ripped jeans & a T-shirt.



The husband of that billionaire heiress should be a guy like.....well dressed & with an influential personality.

"Oh yeah. Then I'm Camilla' boyfriend. Now get lost from here."

The guard scoffed, laughed hard and waved him to flee off.

"Do you think I'm joking ?"

Ed frowned with annoyance.

"Just call and ask your boss right now."

He dared the guard to do that with amusement, standing in the middle way of the path leading towards the vast lawn which could be seen by the low-heightened gate.

"Okey. But if the boss denied I'll beat your butt !"

The guard was confident as he went towards the intercom in the cabin allotted on the side. And Ed remained there rooted with folded arms and smirk.

"Go on !"

Ed mocked and challenged. As he knew what was going to happen.

"Yes boss. I'm really sorry boss. Yes - yes I completely understood. Yes - yes."

After a few minutes of short talking. The guard came close to Ed with his cap in hands and sweat tainted on his temples.

"Sir I'm really sorry about what I said earlier. I request you not to tell this to boss I'll lose my job instantly."

He was literally pleading.

"I didn't know who were you. I'm really sorry 'bout that."

Sure he was aware of the circumstances to insult the empress' husband  !

Ed wasn't shocked upon the expressions of the guard. He knew that Camilla was feared by everyone.

"It's okey. I won't rest assured."

He gave a soft smile hinting genuineness to the guard.

"Thank you sir. Let me help you."

He chirped & picked up the bag__guided the way in.

The mansion was decorated exquisitely. Everything was expensive and was placed elegantly. Wood work was quite impressive and expanded to the whole mansion.

( You must be thinking why I always describe mansions with wood work. Personally I love that stuff. )

"You can go now. And thank you."

The both men exchanged smile and the guard went out nodding.

ED' POV :

"It's so tiring to rush here immediately."

I plopped myself in the sofa and placed my head on it's back.

"The mansion is beautiful quite contrasting to her nature."

I ogled across the lounge comparing the every bright thing to her dull personality.

"You're 5 minutes late."

Suddenly I heard a female voice interrupted my scanning.

I arched my back and gazed backwards from the sofa. I'd hear the TICK sound of heels. And I knew the devil queen was coming down.

"Actually I was on time okey but your guard stopped me. It's not my fault."

I looked at her appearance she was lookin' womanly opposite to her dominating business attire which gives of manly vibes__dangerous ones. Dressed in loose pajamas & shirt which was short making her flat belly bare with caused a naughty little smirk.

"Moreover you're not in the company."

I spit the truth she wasn't in the company so she can't be taking decisions & imposing them upon me.

I'd clearly see that she was pissed off from what I said.

"Gather your bags."

She again chapped curtly and I picked up my only bag & followed her.

"Father will be staying in the hospital for more 2 days. Until then you're going to use this room."

I smiled as there was something she informed me, related to her PROBLEM from personal life__she was opening up.

"And after that ?"

I questioned her amusingly, no doubt I loved to see her getting irritated & pissed off at that moment. Sure I was there to tease the hell out of her.

She frowned and looked away from me when answered.

"After that you'll share room with me. Till father will stay here."

"Okey."

I said meaningfully. May be she understood my  naughty thoughts which were running since I arrived but she just stared at me but said nothing.

"Get dressed HANDSOMELY. We've to visit father."

Ugh ! I was not used to this BOSSY-TONE and she was ordering me around over and over. Calm down Ed.

I forced a smile on my face not to show her my anger which was rising from her tone within me and definitely I wanted to lash on her by spanking her butt !

They both drove towards the hospital when Camilla broke the awkward silence.

"Behave well and show your affection towards me.

Father should be convinced that we both love each other. That's your task."

Somehow Ed knew that this would come.

"Okey I know. Don't worry."

"Dad !"

Camilla' voice drenched in softness. As she leaped towards Mr. Hudson and hugged him.

"Oh my child !"

Mr. Hudson' got moisture in eyes as he gently rubbed his daughter's cheek like a kid.

"I'm sorry Cam I was too harsh on too yesterday."

He looked at her with affection. That's how fatherly love is.

"Don't dad. You're right as you're my only guardian and wanted to see me happy."

Camilla reached for his hands and sat besides him.

"Actually dad I've something to tell you."

Mr. Hudson was waiting for her to say something. As she hesitated to utter perhaps he was the only being she was afraid off, so he buckled her.

"Go on my child. What's the matter ?"

Camilla closed her eyes and gulped for once then spilled the beans.

"Dad I don't want to marry as.....as I'm already married !"

Like a teenager who has told about her bf she peeked through one eye.

"What ?"

Mr. Hudson was left in shock, as it was an unexpected news___out of blue his daughter was saying that she was already married. Didn't know either to laugh out of joy or to venge anger.

"Yes dad. I'm sorry that I did it without  your concent. But he really is a nice guy."

Camilla tried to make her plan worked.

"I see. I really want to meet him now."

He cupped her face in his both hands.

"I'm so happy that you're married. It doesn't matter when and how. Right now I just want to see my daughter's choice."

He winked as Camilla smiled. She knew that Ed with his exceptional looks will surpass easily. But she was worried too because of his careless & blundering nature.

"Sure dad. He's with me."

Camilla turned and spoke a bit loud , enough for Ed to hear.

"Ed you can come in."

And there came a handsome guy with such a confidence.

"Hello Mr. Hudson."

He shook hands  as he placed the fresh flower bouquet besides him on the table.

"This is for you. How are you feeling sir ?"

Sure he was playing good without a doubt.



"Such a gentleman with stunning looks."

Mr. Hudson giggled as he praised Ed.

"Very well young man. I'm quite fine."

He liked him already within a few minutes.

"That's great sir. Cam was very worried about your health. Now you've to take rest & a good care of yourself. "

He was concerned maybe really.

"Yes I know Cam. She's my only daughter and she loves me dearly."

He pointed Ed to sit.

"Sit young man. I've many things to ask."

Ed seated himself besides both father & daughter.

"Yes sure sir. I'm ready for it."

He did the homework very well.

"So young man.....UuMm....Ed as Camilla said. I don't know where you both met & how you both married."

Mr. Hudson's tone became serious, he really was worried about his daughter like every other father out there.

"The only thing I'm concerned with is my daughter's happiness."

He leaned towards Ed and placed his one hand on his shoulder.

"Just tell me son do you love my daughter ?"

Ed immediately held his hands and replied without making him to wait & to cause any suspicion.

"Yes sir I do. I love Cam besides the fact that she's a bit bossy and cocky at times."

He began to giggle.

"But I do love her the way she's. I vow to cherish her and to hold her hand in happiness and despair. She's my life sir !"

"Now I'm relieved."

He then turned towards Camilla. And winked.

"You've a great choice Cam."

He knew that her daughter has always been interested in gems.

And they talked for an hour. During the time unintentionally the treacherous eyes of the couple skimmed onto each other's faces and they had eye contact various times.

"You'd rest now dad. I've talked to the doctors you'll be discharged tomorrow."

Camilla stood up to leave.

"Yes yes dear. I really want to take a nap peacefully. As my all worries are gone. You two have a great time."

"Take care sir."

And the both men shook hands.

"Goodbye dad."

She kissed him on forehead as he laid down.

The couple left the room and Mr. Miller who was standing on duty as Mr. Hudson's PA, wished them.

"Goodbye boss. Have a nice night !"

Don't know from where he got those guts to say such a bold thing. Maybe he wished for his boss to change as she was married now. Definitely he eavesdrop.

Camilla walked away without bothering to reply but Ed chuckled.

"You too man."

"You really impressed me."

Camilla appreciated his performance. At one moment she was really moved by his words regarding the vow which made her heart flutter once for all.

As they both drove back to the mansion. Ed placed his hands on the back of headset.

"You underestimated me madame. I'm really a worthy guy."

He said amusingly, boasting.

And they drove silently throughout the route towards back home.

They entered the house Camilla walked towards her room. When Ed' voice hit her ears and she halted at the staircase.

"You're going to sleep ? What I'm gonna do ?"

Camilla frowned as she turned back to face him.

"I'm not bound to you. Do whatever you want. You're free to enjoy your personal life. BUT DON'T RUIN MY REPUTATION & SPOIL THE CONTACT."

She warned him gritting her teeth and emphasising the last words.

And without listening she went upstairs.

Leaving Ed there standing in the lounge.

"Ah ! Looks like I've to tame this lioness according to my wishes !"

He whispered to himself looking heavenwards with a sigh preparing for a long battle.
