3 Draft for Presentations

I arrived at the Antique store. The Stallion was right, there's no mistaken the druid's store. Lots of trees in a plot of land larger than the surrounding houses with two separate buildings, a two-stories tall house and a five-stories tall tower behind, both with clean and exquisite lines, separating them from the rustic and simple style of the surrounding buildings. The druid is obviously not lacking in money.

I tried to recall what rumors I heard about the druid as I stared at the buildings. It was said that he used to be a big shot in the capital who came to this frontier city to take care of his granddaughter after his only daughter died. I'm not certain about his political background, but he's certainly rich, at least here in the frontier. The fancy buildings must have cost a lot.

Strangely there aren't any activities in the store not the tower behind, nor there seems any shadows of people. I scratched my head, thinking about what to do for a while and I decided to walk behind the store. I'll need to ask when the store's going to open if I'm selling my stuff here.

Immediately, I spotted two men playing chess at a stone table under a large tree, a middle aged man in a dark green robe and an elderly in butler livery. I stared at the butler for a while, I didn't expect to see one when they stared back at me.

"Young man, are you lost?"

I come back to my senses, "Uh, no, I was waiting for the store to open."

That dark green robed man, he must be the druid.

"A customer? My apology, but we're closed."

"What? Why"

"We're moving to the capital, SimCity in a week and I have transfered the antique business to a coleague. I can direct you to his store if you wish to."

Damn. Nothing goes as planned after I got this thing. I took a deep breath and walk closer to them.

"No, I actually have quite an antique that I want to sell in privacy. It's rather valuable, and I don't want people to know I have some wealth after I sell it."

"Certainly not something my friend can't handle. He's quite experienced in the antique business."

"No, I don't believe he's experienced enough in my antique." I've reached the chess table and I lower my voice that only the three of us can hear. "It's a phase computer, you see."

That certainly got their attention. It's rather nice to see their shocked expression. I know I took a great risk here, some people may decide to just snatch the computer, but I decided to gamble on the druid's reputation.

The druid took a look at the butler and the butler nodded before he scurried into the tower. He throw a speculative look at me before stand up.

"I can see why you act secretive. Do you bring it with you?"

"Yes"

"It's better not to bring the valuables before the trade was confirmed, lad. No matter, this goes to my benefit, anyway."

Yes. He's truly worthy of his trustworthy reputation. I usually scoff at the idea of an honest shopkeeper, but the rumors did say he's doing the antique business merely for his hobby. And his fancy store kind of confirm it. He spent too much money just to beautifying the facade after all. I haven't seen the interior, but judging by the layout of the tree garden here, he'll be spending quite plenty as well.

"Come into my tower. I'll need my tools to check your stuff. And if it's truly what you claim it to be, I'm sure we can talk about the price."

I followed him xxxx....

"Let me see your merchandise."

I took off my right bracer and slit open the hidden container to reveal the watch inside it. I take it carefully and give it to him.

"A smartwatch type? It's... in a very good condition."

"It should be, It was still sealed in its original package when I found it."

I enjoyed the look he had when he heard that.

" A smartwatch still sealed after a thousand years... A phase computer in pristine condition...

He carefully insert a cable into the watch. I don't know what would happen so I watch carefully. Suddenly (scene of charging from 0%)- (scene of testing)

"Do you know what it is?"

"Yes."

(MC Shows Off his knowledge)

(GOD DOESN'T PLAY DICE) Segment

Einstein made Relativity Theory - shows time is relative - shake the foundation of physics - the discovery of quantum, etc, etc.

Debate on Quantum Mechanics: Einstein & Schroedinger vs. other Physicist.

Relativity made a mess on Physics and with things being incalculable in sub atomic level and Heisenberg and Schroedinger made different equations with same result, Heisenberg cut the whole thing in Principle of Uncertainty - in short physics in sub atomic level is unknowledgeable.

Einstein disagree - although time was found to be relative he wants to find the principle/laws that govern time - the Theory of Everything. Scientist diverge into two faction: Einstein and Schroedinger as the vainguard of the Seekers of Knowledge while other as the Guardian of Uncertainties.

Debate on Quantum Entanglement: Scientist discovered that two sub atomic particles when treated to the same conditions produce the same result, and impossibility for the principle of uncertainty - the unknowledgeable nature of sub atomic particles made it impossible to have the same result so said particles must be "entangled". Einstein called the forced entanglement "voodoo". Since two particles treated the same makes the same result it proves that a law govern the particles and it's necessary to find that law than sticking to the unknowledgeability of the subatomic particle. What is called "Quantum Entanglement" proves that Principle of Uncertainty is wrong - two particles treated the same way will result the same. The true question is in the variables that prevent the same result in most sub atomic particles experiments. Physics should clear those variables one by one instead of declaring sub atomic as "Uncertain" or by other word "Unknowledgeable". Later discovery explains the erratic results as too few particles was discovered as that time, and only particles and waves were calculables while dark matters were not. It's like calculating of 100 separated stuffs (insert whatever) but only 10 or 20 of the stuffs are calculables while other 80 messing around with those 10 or 20 calculables. The result is a mess.

The defeat of the Seekers of Knowledge: Schroedinger tried to convince the Guardian of the Uncertainties of the fallacy of their principle by presenting the "Schroedinger's Cat" thought experiment but instead of proving them wrong the experiment was embraced as the proving of the absurdity of nature. Sub Atomic is uncertain, unknowlegeable for them and so it was for everybody else and nothing can convince them otherwise. Dialogue (Resistance) is futile.

21st century

A new member of the Seekers of Knowledge, Nozomi Otori revised Atomos Theory as Stuffs -> Molecules -> Atoms -> Particles -> Quanta -> Energy with Energy being the Atomos, the smallest matter.

Using the revised Atomos Theory, he theorised that since Particles is made of a bunch of quanta, the particle/wave duality is similar to ice/water state in H2O, and that there is another state to particle similar to gaseous form, and that is the Dark Matter and that the so called "Quantum Jump" is actually particle or wave turn into its third form, the dark matter form. This is the Particle/Wave/Dark Trinity Theory.

To prove the Particle Trinity Theory he combines Schroedinger's equation (wave) and Heisenberg's matrix (particle) into Otori's Dark Equation (Dark Matter).

Succeeded in his effort, he rallied other scientist into his project: creating a Periodic Table of Particles, by identifying which Quantum form Particles, repeating the Periodic Table of Elements in Sub-atomic level. He called this Sub-Particle level of Physics as Quantum Dynamics while naming his Sub-Atomic level of Physics as Particle Physics.

What the new development of Physics means in computer was the discovery of semi dark-matters to replace the semi-conductors, and more advanced computer - the phase computer, goes into mass production to replaced the old silicone based computers.

(MC tried to explain to shopkeeper what he knows of the development of Physics in 20th and 21st century, presenting that he knows more than just mere tidbit of Physics)

Shopkeeper: "Okay, you've shown your knowledge, so I assume you want more than just golds for this watch."

"I want to be SimCity University student."

"You don't have the highschool diploma, aren't you?"

"So I would like to enter highschool and get this diploma."

"Post-Fallout highschools are politically inclined. You can't enter without connections."

"Are there solutions?"

"Monasteries"

"But they only teaches basic education. The bad ones teaches simple maths and readings while enforce martial arts. Global Laws dictates every dominions has to provide basic educations and every citizens are entitled for it. In practice, most dominions implement it by way of monasteries with heavy emphasis for martial arts to provide soldiers and militia. Only the rich and nobilities goes to expensive schools. And Universities only accepts students who graduated from high schools. The price for the computer should net me enough golds to decades of luxury. I'd like to use it for my education."

"Like I said, high schools are politically inclined. To enter through our connections makes you a vassal of my house. I don't really mind to make you one, but somehow I think that you prefer your independence. And while most monasteries provides basic educations only, some monasteries offers higher educations. And some are accredited for Universities' entrance. I'm offering you that."

"Not fancying another monastery, but if that's what it takes..."

"I still need to know your level of knowledge. You've shown you knows Physics, but..."

"What other subject should I present you with?"

"No, in the contrary, I want you to ask me. I'd like to judge you by what you want to know."
