Answering Questions

Dracula heard of the name cited by Osmodius, the God of Preservation. The new companion which was stuck with him in this new life after his reincarnation was named as the Blood Sovereign System.

Although he heard this name before by the system itself, he had no proper knowledge of it or how it functioned either.

"I have many questions to ask you… but before we go into the details of your existence… I want to ask you about something." he said.

[What would the user like to know?] asked the system as if it was a living being.

"You said 'the first one to reincarnate out of the ten' when you introduced yourself.

Tell me, what does it mean?" he queried with a somber voice.

[The user named Dracula arrived in a state when he was progressing to godhood in his old world.

But after crossing the dimensional crack that sent the user to this new universe and this planet… the laws of this world rejected the user's arrival and tried to destroy the transforming soul.] revealed the system.

[Thus, the user Dracula himself split it apart into 10 different pieces, granting two of his signature powers to each soul fragment and splitting some of his memories.

In the user's case, the soul fragment born as Vlad was left with Shadow Whip and Blood Mist abilities.

However, each part of the split soul contains the user's divinity that was absorbed in the previous world.

But in order to invoke it, the user's body and now transformed soul, which is many times weaker now; must adapt to the laws of this world, get stronger using the methods and ways available here in order to become physically strong to withstand that divinity when it is extracted from the soul itself.] elaborated the blood sovereign system.

"So in simple words… I need to become a very strong individual in this world based on their means available and standards of strength to recover my original divinity that is hidden in my soul… by myself, am I right?" he asked.

[Correct.] replied the system.

"Then what about the other versions of me? Do they have a system as well? And do they have their memories from my past as well?" he inquired in a calm tone.

[No. The Blood Sovereign can not aid more than one soul or a user. So nobody else other than this soul fragment has access to the Blood Sovereign System.

They will not have any of their memories unless they die at least once. This was also a condition set by the user Dracula.

So that each soul fragment will have a common knowledge of this world first and then work their way to the pinnacle of strength using the information and means they have available.] explained the system.

"Then are all of them vampires?

Because I remember that this world is pretty similar to my old one where vampires are facing extinction." he asked again.

[No. The system itself does not have any knowledge about their forms or species.

The user Dracula had established a soul connection between all the split fragments using an undetectable pocket dimension and the first one to die among the soul fragments would meet the condition to unlock that pocket space and receive the Blood Sovereign System.]

"Ah, I see. I'm too smart as usual.

I made every arrangement to make sure that I wasn't obliterated by the laws of this world or detected by the gods or whatever rules this world. I split my soul into 10 parts to make my original soul weak to the point where my birth in a living form would not get deterred or detected by anyone.

And the first one to die will properly reincarnate no matter which species or circumstances it is.

And the one to receive the blood sovereign system given by Osmodius will have a clear goal in mind.

To rise in strength and then search for the other fragments and become a spearhead to lead the operation." he spoke and rested his chin on the right palm.

"But even if the first to invoke the conditions failed… the others would survive one way or another and after their deaths, they'd receive some of the memories and carry the mission to take back the divinity and become a proper god.

I also gave two of my signature abilities to each fragment that they'll receive after dying first… obviously, who else could use them better than myself even if I was born in a different species?" he asked rhetorically while praising himself.

"Although this Vlad didn't have much knowledge of the outside world because he lived peacefully and sheltered till 20 years of his life… I can still make do for a while.

Now… I need power, money, information about how things work in this world, what kind of physical power structure exists in these lands. Also authority over a region or group of subjects and understanding the rules of the food chain of this world if I want to quickly set myself in it." he spoke to himself.

"System… what knowledge do you have about this world?" he asked.

[None. Just like the user, the system isn't also an existing being of this world.] responded the system.

"Tch! What a hassle. I would've preferred some omniscient aide with all the knowledge of this world and make everything understandable from the get-go.

Well, what can I expect… We both are outsiders in this world. There seems no other way around than climbing up step by step." he said.

Because if the Blood Sovereign System somehow had knowledge of this entire world, it wouldn't have made any sense either because they both were beings from a different dimension.

Just that his soul fragment was reborn as an inhabitant of this new world whose name he didn't know of even from Vlad's memories.

"Seriously, do vampires not receive any education in this world? This version of me is simply too clueless and doesn't know anything of use despite the names of his family and clan members.

I need to look for sources of information very quickly. Or I will die for being too negligent." he iterated to himself.

And after a few more queries that came to his mind… Dracula gave a command.

"Alright then Blood Sovereign System, I have the basic knowledge of our current situation. So now…" he spoke and asked the most important question.

"Tell me how you work."
