"Aaah, the lovely sight of Transylvania !" exclaimed Sophie as she walked through the streets and shops. Meanwhile, her attention was drawn to James, who was striding agitatedly.

"Is everything okay, James?"

"You seem so pale," she worriedly inquired. "I'm not sure, perhaps since we're in Transylvania, which is home to vampires!!"

Sophie came to a halt, took a deep breath, and burst out laughing. "What's so funny?" With an irritated expression on his face, James inquired.

"Vampires? Do you really believe in vampires? ...You're 21, James, it's about time you grew up," Sophie continued to chuckle.

"They're real, and there have been several strange sightings in Transylvania, so I'm going to.... " He came to a halt when he noticed a restaurant nearby. "I'm starving, so let's go eat"

"Wow! This restaurant is very posh...! It appeals to me "Sophie was enthralled by her surroundings. "Alright, if we're going to meet up with boss on time, we'll eat and then go straight to the office, okay?" With a serious expression on his face, he said.

"Fine," she responds.

"Sorry for the wait, may I take your order?"A waitress inquired in a friendly tone. While delivering them the menu.

Sophie looked over the menu with bated breath "I'll take the number 7. Umm... Mici.

"I'll have the same order... What she said,". James hurriedly stated. "Oh! as well as a cup of coffee, please"

"So many options on the menu and you chose the same food that I ordered?" Sophie gave him a puzzled look.

"Because I adore you, dear!" he exclaimed, wriggling his brows amusingly. Sophie chuckled and said, "Ugh, stop being weird."

After a few moments, the waitress approached them with their orders, saying, "Here you go, and we apologize for the delay."

Sophie took a bite of Mici with a fork from the table. "Mmmmm this is so good," she said. Her eyelids flitted as she tasted the flavor carefully.

"This doesn't meet my expectations," James observed as he examined the food. Sophie sighed and rolled her eyes. "You haven't tasted it!"

"All right, I'll give it a shot." His eyes widened as he took a bite. "Wow! This is fantastic! "Can you tell me what it's called again?" With astonishment, he inquired.

"haha you like it don't you? Mici is the name ".. She laughed as she watched James eat the food.

With his mouth packed, James asks, "What?"

"eww James don't talk with your mouth full," she said while laughing.

"Oh, you actually think it's repulsive? Because you're dining in a fine establishment?" Sophie's received a message from their boss all of a sudden.

"We have to leave; Boss has requested that we meet him at the hotel immediately."

"Is he already there?

I didn't even get a chance to finish my coffee."

"If my memory serves me well, you were the hasty one just a few minutes ago. Come on, we've got to get moving, "Sophie made a snide remark.

Sophie and James arrived at the hotel after a few minutes.

"Oh, you've both arrived. Please have a seat." In a low voice, Mr Peter said.

"So, boss, what's the situation?" Sophie sat down excitedly.

Mr. Peter took a deep breath and cleared his throat.

"So, we've been getting reports of ummm... How do I explain this without sounding ridiculous?" He took a deep breath. "Vampires have been reported in Philadelphia on several occasions."

Sophie's mouth fell open as she stared at Mr. Peter, stunned by the news, but James didn't seem astonished in the least.

"Vvvvvvv...vampires?" Sophie muttered.

"I told you there were vampires here, but you didn't believe me," James joked.

Mr. Peter rose to his feet.

"There have also been reports of two tooth marks on the victim's neck, indicating that it is most likely a vampire." He swallowed his saliva and continued "So you've decided what to do? Stop the spread of these monsters. So, I'll bid you farewell."

Sophie continued to be shocked by the revelation, murmuring that she couldn't even hear James calling her.

"Sophie? Sophie, get your head out of the sand!" She eventually responded after he touched her."

"Sorry for the inconvenience; I was taken aback by the news and was somewhat alarmed. How are we supposed to battle vampires?

James assisted her in standing up "We have to leave because it is late. We'll be staying at my uncle's house, which isn't far away.

"Is your uncle a Philadelphia resident? Since when?" As they walked out of the hotel, Sophie inquired.

"Yes, my uncle resides in this town. Uncle Charles.

They knocked on Uncle Charles' door, and he opened. Uncle Charles is a tall, well-dressed gentleman. "Hello, Sophie and James. I was hoping to see you! Your rooms are upstairs on the left, and you can prepare meals in the kitchen if you are hungry. I'm leaving right now since I have a business meeting."

"Thank you, Mr. Charles,". Sophie took a peek around the massive mansion. "Wow, this place is huge and gorgeous."

"Yes, I am aware. I'm exhausted and need to rest." They walked upstairs together.

"Goodnight James," Sophie said as they both entered their room. "We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow."
