"You don't seem fine," he said again as he got on the bed and tried to turn her over. 

Yeah, she was not fine. She needed a pain killer.

She cried out in pain and gripped her tummy tightly just curled up but Damon moved her and brought her as close to himself as possible. "What's wrong with you?" He asked again.

Ashley wanted to move away from him. It was as if the way he held her made her feel pain even more, she needed to lie or sit in a different position.

She tried to move away, to change her position but he didn't let her.

"Will you tell me what's wrong with you?! Why you're in so much pain?" He asked almost looking angry but also worried. 

Ashley made herself speak. "It's cramps. I have menstrual cramps." She said and winced again. She didn't want to tell him but what could she do when he was in her room uninvited and was demanding to know what was wrong.

She understood he was concerned though.
