Games.(1)

Moments later, the light in his eyes subsided and Dracul found himself in a different area. This time, it was a grassland filled with tall bushes and weeds.

"This must be the second floor."

Suddenly, Dracul heard a sound coming from a strange bronze cube floating in the sky.

"Mic-test, Mic-test! Hello Everyone! 'Regular Members' who have entered the tower!! This is the second floor and I sincerely welcome you to the Evankhells floor! This evankhells floor is also called the Floor Of Test! The reason is because this is the level where you are deemed worthy of climbing this tower!"

Dracul raised an eyebrow. Deemed worthy? Then what was the point of the test on the first floor?

The man on the mic then went on to explain the rules of this test. It was simple.

There were 401 regulars currently on the field. Their responsibility was to get that number down to 200 by any means necessary. Which of course, meant murder was allowed. It was then said that the moment that number got to 200, the test would end.

"Then, everyone! Try your best!"

The mic cut off after these words were said. Dracul could smell the blood on the air the moment the mic was cut off. Someone was already dead.

And that number was steadily rising.

BANG! BANG!

The sounds of guns being fired assailed Dracul's ear as he walked around the fields, his blood red robe flowing in the wind. He didn't need to hunt anyone down. They were already killing themselves anyways.

Dracul's red cloak was easy to spot within the bushes. He knew this, but there was no need for him to hide. As far as he was concerned, there was no one that could stop him on this field.

And almost as if on cue, he heard footsteps approaching him from his left.

WHOOSH!

Out of the bushes, a tall, blonde man wearing Grey t-shirt that fell to his ankles appeared. He squinted at Dracul with his abnormally small eyes and said, "Do you wish to see the wrath of my god?"

For the first time in a long time, Dracul genuinely laughed. This man had to be joking. If he wasn't, he was an unintentional comedian.

"The wrath of your god huh? Show me."

The man shook his head and started shouting, "HoHoHoHoHoHo!!!"

His eyes turned red as he attacked Dracul with his hand formed in the shape of a blade. His incessant shouting seemed to power up his attacks as its force increased marginally.

"HoHohHo HoHohHohHo!!!!"

Before the man's hand could even reach Dracul, the latter stepped forward and pierced him in the stomach with his arm, completely canceling his 'attack'.

Dracul lifted him up and over his head and looked him in the eye.

"Your god knows where to find me."

He then removed his arm, causing the man's body to fall and spasm on the ground.

Dracul calmly walked away from the scene, his arms clasped behind his back. Some of the warriors who were hiding nearby had avoided him after seeing what he did to the man.

Of course, this didn't mean all of them turned the other way. A few, who were arrogant enough to think that the blonde man was just too weak also learned their lesson at Dracul's hand.

As he stood over the pool of blood from his last enemy, Dracul looked at his reflection.

"Huh, I still look good. I haven't looked at myself in so long that I almost forgot that this was me."

Dracul combed back his short, messy hair and rubbed the scar on the left side of his face. Even though he could heal injuries pretty handily, this scar was earned during the fight with the original Dracul. It was a good memory.

Around his body, under the red cloak were stands of dark matter wrapped around it. This was the Power Of Darkness, his original power.

His black leather pants and boots complemented his red robe nicely, giving him a ironically rebellious look for his age.

"Checking yourself out on the battlefield? How arrogant are you?"

A green lizard girl appeared in front of him wielding a whip like blade.

She looked at Dracul as if he was prey.

Unbeknownst to her though, Dracul couldn't even understand what she was saying.

'I see. So they all speak different languages. Then what makes them understand each other?'

Dracul wanted to ask her but he knew that he would get no satisfactory response.

'What if I eat her soul? I would gain her memories and probably the answer I'm looking for.'

The girl, noticing that Dracul was ignoring her, clicked her tooth in anger and rushed him with impressive speed.

WHOOSH!

She immediately swung her weapon when she got in range of him. It seemed that she intended to gravely injure him.

But unfortunately, she chose the wrong opponent.

Dracul caught her weapon with his hand, slammed her down on the ground and sent a blow at her face, intending to finish her off with this attack.

WHIRRRRRRRRRRRR!

"Everyone stay where you are! The first test is over now!! All remaining regulars, stop what you're doing and listen carefully!! Any regulars fighting from on will be eliminated!"

Dracul had managed to stop his attack just before it her face.

'She's saved huh?'

Dracul let the girl go and stepped away as she stumbled to stand up.

"You- who are you?"

Thinking that she couldn't understand him, Dracul just responded, "Dracul. I can't understand you so I don't know what you're saying."

The girl seemed to be surprised as she heard this. She rummaged through the bodies of some of the dead regulars and found a black orb, which she offered to Dracul.

'She understood me? Then the problem seems to be on my end. What is this black orb?'

Dracul touched it and it disappeared from the girl's hand, appearing beside him.

"Can you understand now?"

Dracul raised an eyebrow at this development. The girl actually solved the problem.

"I can. What is this device?"

The girl squinted her eyes at Dracul as he asked this question. Everyone should know what a pocket was.

"It's a pocket. A low rank one but, it still works. Anyways, enough small talk, who are you? You said your name was Dracul right? Dracul what? From which great family? With your strength, I know you're not some random regular."

As Dracul was about to answer, two figures emerged from the bushes, arriving next to them in no time.

One of them was a Swordsman equipped with two katanas, while the other seemed to be a regular man in a tracksuit.

The Swordsman sized up the lizard while he barely even glanced at Dracul.

As for the man in the tracksuit, he had a look of nervousness on his face when he saw Dracul. It was as if he knew him from somewhere.

The man on the speaker had just finished explaining the rules for the next test at this point. Again, it was extraordinarily simple. All they had to do was find teammates and make a team of three. They had to be touching each other at the end of the time limit to be considered a team.

And, they had five minutes to do so.

"Everyone! Good Luck!"

The man on the speaker disappeared as he said this.

The four of them sized each other up as they stood there.

Dracul was the first one to speak.

He pointed at the swordsman and the lizard then said, "Both of you, join me."

The tracksuit man was useless in comparison to these man.

His deep voice left no room for argument.

The lizard calmly walked over to Dracul's side and looked at the Swordsman with questioning eyes. The swordsman stared at Dracul for several moments before joining them. There was something about Dracul that was rubbing him the wrong way but he just couldn't figure out what.

The tracksuit man tried to plead but to avail, he eventually ran off into the distance in an attempt to find two teammates.

The moment the trio were left alone, the lizard turned to Dracul and said, "What were you saying before they interrupted us?"

Dracul placed his hands on both of their shoulders as he responded, "I am Dracul. I am not from this tower."

He could feel their bodies shivering when he mentioned that he wasn't from the tower. Was this such a big deal?

The Lizard gulped as she stared at him.

"So you're an irregular? How...interesting. No wonder you give me a strange feeling. By the way, my name is Anak Jahad."

The swordsman looked at both of them with a shocked expression.

"An irregular and a princess of Jahad? Huh, seems that I've got the lucky draw of teammates. I'm Hatz, just in case you were wondering."

Dracul nodded at them. While he was sort of curious about this whole regular/irregular thing, he would figure it out in due time. There was no rush.

Soon enough, the five minutes were up and everyone found a team.

"The second test is over! Those who have made a team, keep holding on to each other! The three people holding each other at this moment are considered a team! You'll be sent to the next test spot!"
