Draco Malfoy, The Champion of the Magical World

His name is Draco Malfoy, at least it is now. He started out as a soul before the System he possessed rebooted, apparently after suffering a critical error. Apparently, features he had from the system were incompatible with where he was to be reincarnated, but our MC couldn't remember why. After receiving a mysterious message through his system from a god or something, someone calling him Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, the soul who would become Draco Malfoy, was left to experiment with his Mysterious System. Fortunately, his Newbie Pack gave him all seven Harry Potter books to help him prepare to enter his new world, and with that he was able to begin preparing for the eventual conflicts to come. While his memories of his previous life, or perhaps lives, appear to be missing, he sometimes finds himself just understanding things mysteriously, and he's uncertain why. He decides that after seeing all the Karma he had previously accumulated, that he must have been a good guy in his previous life or lives, so he decides to live his new life his own way and to hell with the script/story he read. He'll rise to the top of the world, exploit every advantage his system gives him, and surpass both Moldybutt and Dumbledore! Note : I do not own the picture, I just found it online and thought that it was appropriate. I hope everyone likes the story.

Classes Start : Part 3

After eating his lunch, Draco headed over to the Ravenclaw table and approached Marietta Edgecombe and Cho Chang "Good afternoon, ladies" he greeted the two second year Ravenclaw girls.

"With all those other girls around you, I thought you might have forgotten about us" Marietta admitted.

"Oh course not." Draco insisted with a chuckle "Anyway, I'm gathering a group to go to the library after dinner. Would you two beauties like to come with us?" he offered.

"That's fine. We have Astronomy tonight so we have to stay up late regardless" Marietta agreed.

"Good. I look forward to seeing you both there." Draco insisted and waved to the pair before going around to all of the girls he already planned to include in his harem and invited them, with the exception of Tonks, who ate lunch at a different time and was not in the great hall.

All of the girls who were invited, though, agreed to the meeting.

After lunch, Slytherin and Gryffindor first years went out to their first flying lesson, and while listening to Madam Hooch, Draco added Tracey, Lily and Bethany to his relationship tracker, then he added Ron, and finally Theo's gang, and one particular revelation that came from that surprised Draco.

It did not surprise him that Crabbe and Goyle were Neutral and 1% dislike, but it did surprise him that Pansy showed as 1% Friend. Ron actually seemed to dislike Draco more then Crabbe and Goyle did, at 6%. Draco found himself wondering why he didn't do that sooner. It was satisfying to know where he stood with them and that they did not have feelings towards him that were as severe as Theo's hatred was..

Madam Hooch's speech was actually far longer then in the book, but eventually she asked them all to step up to the left side of their brooms.

"Put your right hand over the broom and say up." Madam Hooch instructed the class.

" " " Up! " " "all 20 students started saying together.

Draco, Ron, and Holly got it on the first try while, and Draco saw Ron's dislike for him decrease by 1 percent, he guessed because he had drilled this lesson into Ron's head when at the Burrow, and he got to look good by succeeding on his first try. Theo was the next to succeed after saying "Up" three times, and he gave Ron a glare for beating him at that time. The rest got their brooms up to their hand over the next minute or so.

"Now, once you've got hold of your broom, I want you to mount it, and grip it tight. You don't want to be sliding off the end." Madam Hooch waited while they did as instructed before continuing "When I blow my whistle, I want each of you to kick off from the ground, hard...Keep your broom steady, hover for a moment, then lean forward slightly, and touch back down. On my whistle...3...2..." she blew the whistle

Noelle immediately ran into trouble when she rose into the air and started panicking and rising higher. "Ms. Longbottom...Ms. Longbottom...Ms. Longbottom." Madam Hooch was saying sternly as Noelle started drifting further away, unable to control her course.

Draco kicked off from the ground as he heard Noelle calling for help. "Mr. Malfoy, Ms Longbottom, get down here this instant!"

Draco ignored Madam Hooch and came up next to Noelle, who yelped a bit as she was yanked right off of her broom and found herself seated on Draco's lap with one of his arms around her to hold her in place as he carefully returned to the ground.

"I'm sorry, Madam Hooch. Noelle just panicked and couldn't control her broom. She'll figure it out." Draco insisted.

Noelle was quite embarrassed about the manner in which she had been rescued and happily slipped off of Draco's lap when he landed, though he kept one arm around her so she couldn't slip away from him that easily "Are you feeling less panicked?" Draco asked Noelle with concern.

"No...More panicked" Noelle admitted "Very different reason though." she nervously looked at his arm that was holding her.

Draco noticed and chuckled "Oh, sorry, my bad." he insisted and let go of Noelle, which let her to sigh in relief and jog over to where her broom had landed on the ground and recover it.

Knowing that Draco would help her if she had issues again, Noelle was able to relax for the remainder of class and had far better luck then her nearly disastrous first attempt. The remainder of the flying lesson passed without incident, and they had a free period before dinner.

Draco decided to spend the free period getting to know Tracey, Lily and Bethany better, so he approached the three girls after class "Hello ladies" he said flirtatiously "Now that we are all friends, why don't the four of us head to the library and get to know each other a bit more before dinner. What do you think?"

"Aren't we already meeting there after dinner?" Lily asked with confusion.

"Yes, and I have a matter to discuss with everyone there, but what I am talking about is a private gathering for the four of us to grow closer."

"I guess that's alright" Bethany answered with a shrug "I don't have any other plans right now. Tracey and Lily nodded in agreement as well.

"Fantastic, lets go" Draco insisted

------

Draco had enjoyed spending time with the three Slytherin girls, though he did not get much chance to ask them questions since they took full advantage of the situation to ask questions about him

Draco was patient and answered their questions throughout until they headed to dinner, which was uneventful as well, then they all started gathering in the library.

From Gryffindor, Lavender Brown, Daphne Greengrass, Noelle Longbottom, Parvati Patil and Holly Potter had come.

From Hufflepuff, Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones and Sophie Roper arrived to the meeting.

From Ravenclaw, Cho Chang, Marietta Edgecomb, Hermione Granger, Padma Patil and Lisa Turpin were attending

From Slytherin, there was Tracey Davis, Lily Moon and Bethany Runcorn.

Tonks couldn't come due to her evening classes, but even so it was nice to have sixteen cute girls come to meet him here.

"So, why did you need to gather all of us here?" Cho asked Draco with curiosity.

"I want to form a secret study group that practices Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, and general spellcasting." Draco told the girls "I want to invite all of you to join, but there will be a magical contract if you agree. I have some secrets that will be revealed to the beautiful ladies that join, so I have to protect those secrets" he retrieved the contract from his bag "If someone tries to compel you to share my secrets, then your name will disappear from this contract along with all memories of what happened there." he decided to be completely open about the nature of the contract.

"Dumbledore's Army?" Holly asked, seeing the groups name at the top of the contract.

"Well, it needed some sort of name, so that's what I came up with" Draco insisted and grinned at Holly "I ask that you all trust me, and I will make it worth your while. I will help you to become incredible witches. so what do you say?"

The girls started quietly talking about it among themselves for a bit, then asked Draco a few more questions before they all finally agreed to sign the contract. If they wanted out they could ask to have their names removed from the contract and whatever they saw or heard in the course of the training would be lost, though they would still retain any spells they mastered or mana growth they gained, even if they did not recall the specifics. They lost nothing by giving Draco a chance.
