84 Half Demon Siblings

The original plan of Blush was to get caught by the people behind the kidnappers and to be taken to a much bigger place.

She had made sure to dress herself in clothes that looked nice but were not overly expensive looking while a coin purse was attached to her waist.

That way she would attract the eyes of thieves or kidnappers that worked in the area and she would let herself be kidnapped.

Her siblings had been nearby and used their psychic powers to sense the surroundings so they could watch over her from further away.

They were supposed to wait until she was moved before they made a move on the smaller group of kidnappers.

Unfortunately the plan was ruined the moment that her earring was removed and her shapeshifting had come undone.

It was possible to reapply it quickly but Blush had already come to the decision to make a move against them.

Even if it was dark in the room, the man that took the earring could still have seen something and could have been pretending that he did not notice anything.

Her capture would no longer result in a sale of a young and beautiful girl but would instead become the sale of a beautiful demon girl.

Demons were rarely captured or revealed themselves so the value of her would go up and it would draw in too much attention to her.

Blush still wanted to live a peaceful life without being hunted down by demon haters, religious groups or other factions that had a bad view of the demons.

If there were people who came to know her identity then she would have to either change to another one or move to another place right away.

It meant delaying her research further and possibly causing confusion for those that worked with her who only knew her as the human Blush that was neither a witch or a half demon.

To avoid those things, it was in her best interests not not cause a big commotion the moment that she had entered the capital for the first time.

The run down building that had been cleaned up a little had been taken over by Flutter and Zap.

Zap possessed weaker magic and psychic powers but he had trained his body well so he was already as strong as some ogres that had been encountered in the Dark Demon Realm.

If there had to be an estimate then he would already be above the power of a professional fighter or athlete but he had boasted about being able to deal with dinosaurs that had tougher scales or hides.

He did have the brute strength to pull it off since he had so easily tore through the bandits defences on the way to the capital.

The magic that he used was materialisation magic to create simple weapons but he found that they would break easily so he was happy to receive a double sided axe from Blush.

His use of his lower magic and psychic powers only allowed smaller feats of strength so he had to use them in the middle of combat to restrain his opponent for a split second so he could gain an advantage.

Flutter had the most power among the three siblings and had a healthy body but she was not that physically strong even if she was stronger than the average human.

She was one of the older siblings and was more experienced than others in dealing with all kinds of people, ogres, devils and demons.

Flutter had a beautiful and charming appearance that let others lower their guards so she used a type of spell as her specialty which charmed or let others drop their vigilance against her.

Turning someone hostile or vigilant into being friendly or charmed was her special ability so Blush placed her in charge of the building with her brother helping to guard her.

The duo would help Blush take some control over the darker parts of the capital and would play a big part in gathering more information.

Fizz was smaller and cuter than the others while possessing enough power to defend herself from trained humans.

She had inherited the intelligence of the family so Blush placed her in a position to handle and sort out information gathered and the overall finances.

If Zap was the brawn, the brains would be Fizz and the one with the experience would be Flutter so they could be put to use by Blush effectively to further her plans.

Flutter, Fizz and Zap were sitting together without Blush being there and Fizz spoke up first. "Are you all not resentful at all? She has placed those things in our hearts that could be used to kill us on a single whim of hers and now the contract will not let us go against her. I know we decided to join her but what are your thoughts?"

Zap shrugged as he replied bluntly. "I do not care all that much so long as I get to have some fun. The Demon Realm was not exactly welcoming to us and the family head did not really accept us either. I do not feel like I am being pushed to my death by sister when she gives me orders."

Flutter nodded in agreement. "I have a feeling that she is not the type of person that would use that against us to force us to do anything. It seems that she is just careful about being betrayed or harmed by anyone that knows her true identity. This is my intuition and I trust it."

Fizz sat while thinking to herself. 'So they really came for the same reason that I did. Brother Zap had been put on dangerous missions each time and sister Flutter has been made to endure all kinds of punishments and treatments over her long life.

The family head was a man that was cruel to us and would hand out punishments for the slightest of reasons. Even when I started to show my intellect at a younger age, I was not given the right support and was neglected by the family to play a minor supporting role.'

She let out a sigh. "Now that the contract is in place then it may not be a problem to have them removed from our hearts but it is too dangerous. Perhaps we can use our efforts to negotiate with sister Blush to have her remove them."

Zap crossed his arms over his chest and grunted. "I do not mind either way but I guess it may be dangerous to keep these things here."

Flutter showed a slightly look of concern. "It seemed to be only activated by her magic signature and spell but we cannot be completely sure if that is the case. Just be careful to not let anything trigger it until we can earn her trust."

Each of them had their worries about what had been placed inside them and if it would remain safe.

Unlike the other siblings that had thought nothing of it, Fizz and Flutter had been more concerned about it so they had joined Blush.

Blush was a safer bet than going back to the Dark Demon Realm and they were worried about the potential dangers of what was left within them.

Zap had mainly joined to experience the human world where he was born from and to escape the Dark Demon Realm that was full of dangers at every turn.

Being sent on dangerous missions and being punished when he did not wish to do so anymore were his daily life which he had to survive within the family.

It made him strong but he still felt very powerless in front of the family head who had stronger powers than everyone.

The siblings were often placed against each other or were separated so there was no unity for them to stand up against their father or the family head.

Blush had accomplished a feat of killing the family head, stealing the family treasury and making everyone work together to kill their father who many of them had hated so not every single one of them could hate her.

They had met far more evil and brutal enemies in the past so they understood the importance of guarding their own lives so they would expect certain methods to be used by their enemies and they would not be seen as cowardly but instead as admirable.

It was difficult for the siblings to hold onto their resentment for what she had done to them and found that everything Blush had done resulted in them being freed from the shackles of the family.

Each of them had a reason to be with Blush whether it was seeking a better life, escaping the difficulties of the Dark Demon Realm or their need to be in an environment where they would be appreciated better or understood.

Zap was among them that had respected Blush the most, Fizz was seeking out a way to make use of her intellect and Flutter was sick of the overall atmosphere in the Dark Demon Realm.

Blush had more experience in the human realm so she was the best person to follow and she seemed competent enough to follow even if it was temporarily.

Whether they stayed or not depended on how Blush could convince them to stay longer or permanently.
