5 Artifacts
{Time skip 5 years later}
These past five years were pretty interesting. I learned everything my Aunt asked me and I have to say at first it was hell especially potion making which is her specialty , there were just too many things to memorize . But the moment I learned occlumency everything became easier.
I first created my mental defences which was a dungeon of 500 floors and each floor is harder than the previous one, each has at least thousand of monsters that I saw in different movies and anime. Even then ,if someone manage to pass through the 500 floors they get access to the fake memories I created which I hope is enough too fool them.
Anyway it took me 3 years to learn and master Occlumency and when I did , I could think much faster , control my emotions, and memorize a lot of stuff. After that potion making became a lot easier I even started helping my aunt inside the shop .
As for martial arts i now have a black belt in Aikido and a brown one in Krav maga.
Legilimency was a lot harder to learn and even now I still haven't mastered it , I can only pick the surface thought of someone.
Which brings us now, me and my aunt are in the basement of the shop in front of a door .
Andrea" Listen Rai , you have learned every subject I taught you and then some and you excelled in all of them , I honestly couldn't be more proud of you .
There was a time i even though of giving you your artefacts in advance but I stopped myself thinking it would best to wait and I was right , look at you now, even I need to stay still to assimilate more magic but you can do so while moving!
Wizards keep their magic inside their core but your magic flow in cycle through your entire body. Honestly, you're only 11 years old and the quantity of your magic is close to be on par with mine, and the control you have over it is amazing to a frightening degree!
(sigh) Anyway through this door , is the room where I stored all the artefacts that i have acquired , 147 artifacts to be exact I sold the rest . So what you need to know is that you don't get to choose what your artifact is , the artifact chooses you so when we go in I will ask you to close your eyes and walk around the room until you feel a connection understand?" She finishes and asks
Raizel" Yes I do"
Andrea " Good " And after she said that she opens the door, we go in and I'm blown away by what I'm seeing. I could see a lot of jewelry,like earrings , necklaces , I could also see weapons like knives , daggers , katanas and a lot more . But the most surprising thing is that I could feel some energy coming from all of them.
Andrea " Now close your eyes and stat walking around the room, it might take some time so don't worry it happens to all of us ." She tells me and I do as she says.
I close my eyes and star walking around felling every energy I come across but I suddenly stop because I feel something calling me , i followed it until I could feel it right in front of me so I opened my eyes and see a small box .
I pick it up , open it and see a silver ring inside of it.
It was a silver ring with a red gem on it that looked like a vertical slit pupil .

Andrea " That's the night ring , I found it on a uninhabited island in Asia called Lian yu , this ring is for people who have a high affinity for the element of darkness , maybe you should put it back ,I'll take you somewhere els.." but I cut her off
Raizel" No I'll take it" I tell her
Andrea" But " she wanted to say something but I cut her off again
Raizel " I know what you're thinking auntie, but a long time ago someone told me that darkness was just another element, like fire and water and I agree, it doesn't matter what the people before me used it for, because I'll use it the right way , the good way. So don't you worry I'll prove it to you and show you that you raised me well mom " I finish saying that with a huge and honest smile on my face.
She was shocked at first and then
Andrea " Just put it on you brat!" She says trying to wipe away her tears " I trust you and always will , it doesn't matter what you're affinity is , I just know you'll always make me proud son!" She finishes with the most beautiful and happiest smile I've ever seen her make.
Raizel "Thank you" I tell her with a few tears and happy smile as well.
Then I pick up the ring and put in on my left ring finger since I'm a lefty, and I immediately felt good and powerful, I felt like nothing could stop me , like I was invincible and before I lost myself in euphoria, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath
' Do not let the power control you, you control the the power it yours' I thought to myself
And after a couple more deep breath I reigned all the magic that was coming from me inside and took complete control of it . I open my eyes and look at the ring to see that the gem turned purple for a couple of seconds before turning back to red.
' So my magic colour turned from blue to purple, and every time I use magic the gem change to purple as well good to know.
And geeeez , no wonder many dark wizards are evil I almost lost myself to the darkness as well '
{Andrea POV}
'I was really hard on him these last 5 years but he never once complained. I wasn't even home most of the time since demons kept appearing and me Gabriel , Sonia kept going all over the country to help getting rid of them. They even started bringing Kevin and Natasha on missions to train them but I couldn't since he didn't have an artifact yet, so I always left him an assignment before leaving him alone at the house since he was mature enough. I never had a kid, so taking care of one was new for me as well .
That's why I thought for sure that he would end up hating me which is why when he called me mom even with all my occlumency abilities I couldn't control my emotions.'
I thought to myself as I watched him wear the night ring . As he put it on the ring , I watched as the darkness was trying to absorb him completely and thought ' Come on son! Show me! Show every one that you can even shine within the darkness!'
After what felt like an eternity, I see him taking full control of the magic and saw how the once blue magic that used to flow through his entire body like river turned into purple one and the first thing that came out my mouth was
" That's my boy!!"
{MCPOV}
As I was checking all changes I went through after I put on the ring I heard
" That's my boy!!"
I turn around to see my aunt, no my mother walking up to me with a happy smile before giving me a hug which I happily accepted.
Andrea" I knew you could do it " she says to me with tenderness in her voice. We stay like that for a couple seconds before we finally let go of each other " Now go , I'm sure you're excited to it try it out "
I just grin at her before storming out of the shop,(our house isn't far from shop) , into the house, and went straight into my room.
I locked the the door before turning around and I could see all kinds of books lying around everywhere .
But I just smile and put a little more magic into my left hand , I lift it up, my ring turns purple and I say in commanding voice :
" << Leviosa >> "
And all the books started floating in the air .
Seeing this I smile again while thinking
' And a new dark lord arises'
