1 Every ending is a new Beginning

A small drop of tear made its way across his handsome face, finally resting on his chin for a moment before it fell towards the ground. In front of him was a huge hole, that sucked in everything he ever held dear. Yet the emotion reflected in his enchanting green eyes wasn't fear, but self-hatred. From his mouth came the same sentence he had been muttering for the past 10000 years: "If only I had taken things more seriously...".

After the tear fell down from his face, it started changing colour. The initial colourlessness of the drop was replaced by golden red, which then started darkening. Finally, it fully transformed into a drop of black liquid, which stopped at the same level as his feet (which was in the air. He was levitating), parallel to the ground. At the same time, he felt like something happened to his body. Only then did he notice the drop that was floating above the ground. At once, he understood that it was the last piece of impurity left in his soul. With that drop gone, he was now cleansed. However, his eyes filled up with even more tears of regret.

Since the day of his ascension, the day he started ruing his fate and berating himself, this was the only thing he had been looking forward to. This was what he had spent all his time trying to achieve. And here it was now, after everything he loved was gone. The sheer horror overwhelmed him. The misery, the agony, the anger, the bitterness. He was shook to the core. His entire life was just a divine, cruel, joke! He now understood the meaning behind the painful smile that the fate god gave him, just before getting devoured by the hole. He just closed him eyes for a moment to take it all in, along with a large amount of air.

As the black liquid dissipated, his entire body started trembling with power. He felt his spirit come out of his body, and transform into a magnificent creature. A creature, which tried desperately to shield him from the devouring force. At this moment, he opened his eyes. His sclera was no longer white, neither was his eye colour green. Everything was pitch black, much like the colour of the creature protecting him. With a newfound confidence, he yelled in defiance against the black hole in front of him, as he attacked it. As a result, the size of the hole was slightly reduced. However, this power was new to him, thus, draining a large amount of energy from him. He crouched down while panting due to exhaustion. That was his last stand. Although he knew it wouldn't do much good, he still did that in order to alleviate at least some of his frustration. Time was well beyond the control of any unfathomable power after all.

After panting for a while, he stood up facing towards the hole, with a stern expression on his face. He was the only person left in the god's realm now, and the only reason he wasn't getting sucked into, was due to his spirit protecting him. But, he still couldn't move in any direction except forward. Thus, he finally gave in and slowly started walking towards the hole. As his spirit witnessed this, it shed a tear for him, and gave a cry that echoed throughout the god's realm before it entered back into his body. As the shield was gone, the suction force started affecting him, pulling him into the void. As his body completely gave out, he felt excruciating pain cover his entire body, as if his very existence was being tampered with. He naturally considered this as the work of the temporal turbulence and bore through it. However, in truth, this was the doing of his newly evolved spirit. Just before he was completely absorbed by the darkness, he said one more sentence: "I wish I could just start over", as he slowly closed his eyes. After that, within just a second, the god's realm was erased from existence.

"...ge! ge ge! Yuan ge ge! wake uuuupppp!!!!!", a sweet voice of a young boy, along with an earthquake woke him up. As "Yuan ge ge" opened his eyes, he saw a charming and cheerful young boy sitting on his bed, in a large room. 'Where the hell am I? Didn't I just get consumed by a large black hole?', he thought, as he quickly got up from the bed and inspected himself in front of a nearby mirror. His face suddenly filled with shock. Seeing this, the small asked with a frown on his face, "what's wrong ge ge?". "Nothing", Yuan replied in a calm voice. But he was completely in awe due to what he saw in the mirror. He looked cute and around 5 years old, exactly like the boy who was sitting on his bed! Well, not 'exactly'. Yuan was a bit fatter. Okay, a lot fatter (Some things never change I guess) . He was freaking out inside, as he thought, 'What in the world is going on???????!!!!!!!!!!!'.

And thus began the adventurous 'ReLife' of the former phoenix god Ma HongJun.
