6 Talk with Grandpa

Shuu who had passed out in his spar with his father was currently lying on his bed. It had been 3 days after the spar.

"Uh! My head hurts," Shuu held his head with both his hands as he slowly woke up. The first things he felt after waking up were the terrible headache and his sore body.

"Grandpa Hideki?" Shuu was shocked after realizing the person who was by his bed. "Yes, Shuu. It is me. How are you feeling?" Shuu's grandpa asked with a look of concern on his face.

"I just feel my body aching all over me. What happened during the spar?"

"Did you not remember what happened during that battle? You suddenly screamed in pain after taking your dad's attack." Ito Hideki explained to Shuu about the situation. "Do you know what happened to you? I checked your body and it looks like there's a lot of muscle injuries on your body. Other than that, I can't find anything wrong." Hideki shook his head as he was also exasperated by the situation he was confronting right now.

"Give me a moment, grandpa. Let me check my body." Shuu did not rush to the conclusion yet. He knew his body the best. As he checked his body, he exclaimed at the sight of his muscle injuries. His grandpa was right after all. His injuries were terrible. He would need a lot of time to heal them completely. He then tried to access his tool spirit, Dragon Sword Set and found out that both swords were fine and nothing changed.

However, suddenly he could feel another spark of light existed beside his swords. It was another Spirit Essence. He gasped at the sight. He knew based on his knowledge that someone who possessed twin spirit was absolutely rare. And here in his body currently existed two of those rare spirits. Without delaying any more time, he tried to identify the Spirit Essence beside his swords.

Four loud rumbling roars scared his mind and soul. He did not know what should he do at the moment. The sight he saw could petrify anyone who had seen it. His second Spirit Essence was a combination of the four beast spirit that he had seen a month ago that had awakened themselves in the children of his sects. He still clearly remembered the four supreme beasts. The Blue Tortoise of the water element, the fire element Red Pheonix, the Wind Green Dragon and the White Tiger of earth element. His second Spirit Essence was a product of a fusion of the four supreme beasts.

Shuu released his soul power towards his second Spirit Essence just like he always did to his Dragon Sword Set to manifest it. However, the terrifying pain that he felt during the spar with his father surged again. He quickly cut off his supply of soul power. His body was still riddled with injuries and that pain would cause a whole level of injuries in his body if he did not react that fast.

'I wonder if this is a blessing or a curse to me,' Shuu sighed heavily, attracting his grandpa attention. By now, his parents had already stood his grandpa side. "Shuu, are you okay now?"

"I'm okay, mom. I just need a few days to heal my injuries. But I already found out the reason I passed out during our fight, dad. It looks like I had awakened a second Spirit Essence."

"WHAT!!" Three of them were shocked to the core. Their facial expressions right now were extremely funny to look at. Their disbelief had made them fall into a stupor for a few moments.

"I think my new spirit has mutated because the four beast spirits that had awakened themselves in our sect's members have combined themselves resulting in my second Spirit Essence."
