5 Spar Against Father

With his katana in his right hand, Shuu stared at his father in front of him.

"Shuu, I'll not use any Spirit Ring and use only Rank 10 soul power," Takashi informed his son as he sealed his own Rank 75 soul power to Rank 10. He wanted to test his son's abilities against anyone around his cultivation. It would be unfair for Shuu if Takashi combated him using his powerful cultivation.

Shuu nodded his head. He stepped forward carefully as he observed his father movement. As he was just a Rank 10 Spirit Master, he did not possess any Spirit Ring. Thus, this spar was more focused on Shuu's experience in battle and his level of fighting techniques. Shuu felt that an enormous majestic aura began to surround the training ground. He realized his father was releasing vigorous aura towards him. Even though Takashi had already restricted his cultivation to Rank 10, he could not hide his aura which he had obtained throughout battles of sweat and blood covering his body in his 31 years of life.

Fortunately, the title on an instructor and a grandmaster in martial art and sword art in Shuu's previous life was not just for show. Right at that moment, Shuu exuded a tranquil and calm mind as he dashed towards his father. He slashed his katana at an incredible speed. However, it was to be expected by him that Takashi could avoid that attack with ease. Shuu did not panic instead, he followed up with continuous attacks. Takashi was astonished at that sight of his son. His son form and stances could be said almost flawless. Nonetheless, Takashi was still a great warrior. He evaded a few series of attacks and then struck his palm on Shuu shoulder. Shuu staggered 2 steps backward as he regained his balance.

'Dad is so strong,' that was what Shuu could conclude from his father's palm. But Shuu was not nervous at all. Shuu stepped forward again and attacks his father again. This time, he incorporated his left hand and his legs in his attacks. Shuu did not give Takashi the opportunities to counter-attack him. Every time Takashi wanted to punch or smash his fists onto him after evading Shuu's sword, he was countered by either Shuu's left-hand or his legs. Shuu's continuous attacks were like flowing water as his defence was able to counter his opponent moves. "Nice move, Shuu," exclaimed Takashi.

The spar was still in progress as neither of them had any massive advantage over each other. Takashi actually only had a slight advantage over Shuu as he could manage to avoid of Shuu's moves as his sight and vision were above Shuu's. As a great cultivator, Takashi also had great stamina and endurance to hold his fort again Shuu in this spar. But the same thing could not be said to Shuu. He was starting to breathe heavily. Shuu knew that he could not continue to attack his father like this.

"Looks like one sword was not enough. Time for me to enter my strongest state," Shuu quickly stepped away from Takashi. A wakizashi began to materialize in his left hand. He only had enough soul power to maintain this form for about 2 minutes after consuming soul power in his first half of the spar.

Takashi frowned at this sight. Somehow his son's state became very overbearing as he wielded both his katana and wakizashi. He knew he had to be careful. Shuu again in his new state attacked his father. But this time, he was stronger and more importantly, he was faster as he slashed both his sword repeated. Every attack was covered with dense soul power that would threaten his enemies. His swords were without no mercy, becoming sharper using Shuu's soul power.

Takashi was shocked by the powerful sword technique yet skillfully executed by Shuu. Taking the opportunity, Shuu attack Takashi as he was still in shock. Just as the blades of sword nearly hit his father, Takashi, who realized the danger, suddenly burst out with his first Spirit Ring. Takashi hands were covered by green claws as he proceeded to defend again his son attack. However, Takashi power was too great for Shuu.

The overwhelming power fell upon Shuu's body. Suddenly, in the face of danger, Shuu felt 4 different powers erupt inside him. It was as if they knew that their user was in danger and quickly surge through Shuu's body, protecting him from any harm. From the outside perspective, nothing could be seen happen on his body but only Shuu knew how terrifying those powers were inside of him. However, those power came with prices. Those powers put on an enormous amount of stress towards Shuu's body.

"Ahhhh!" Shuu screamed loudly as his body was breaking and making Shuu felt pain throughout his that was so excruciating. Shuu painful wailing was a rude awakening to Takashi who was still in stupefaction. Shuu immediately fainted after the pain had exceeded his pain tolerance level.
