Chapter 15: Suotuo City

"Though I said I was gonna go to Slaughter city, I have not yet killed a human. The spars I have had so far were just friendly matches. Should I go to the Great Spirit Arena to take part in a life and death battle? But first…" Nian Zhen said gazing upon 18 men in front of him. The men were clad in black robe. Their faces hidden, one could just barely make out two cold eyes.

[Host. What are you gonna do with them?]

"Well. Shall I give them tasks like I did to my other clones?" Nian Zhen thought.

"But it was nice that I could keep on producing as many 6 paths clones as I can." Nian Zhen added.

[Host. Why not send them around the mainland to assist the other 6 and form an organization. Let the organization become a brand for you to earn money and gather as much information as you can. You won't get information like that of a person's wife from the 'Sanctuary' so this would prove helpful.]

"Why are you giving such an example? Do you think I want such information?"

[That was just an example. I am stating that the host will get extra info that 'Sanctuary' does not possess.]

"Hmm that would be sort of cliche though….well not that it matters."

[Suggesting host to give the organization name 'Chi Yue']

"That's fine. You lot disperse around and search for the other 6. I have imprinted their locations on you. You can find them easily. As for you three, you guys accompany me. One of them is at Suotuo city. We are headed there. Now disperse." As soon as Nian Zhen said that 15 of his clones (with different appearance) dispersed to different directions.

It will take the 4 people at least a month before they can reach Suotuo City by walking. The reason for not flying was that the 3 Clones could not fly as well as because Nian Zhen wanted to battle some mountain Bandits while on the road.

Just after 3 days, Nian Zhen and the group were suddenly surrounded by Bandits. The reason was because of the material from which Nian Zhen and the group's clothes were made up of. Any spirit master at a glance could find that it was made up of rare Spirit Beasts skins and fur.

Due to that, Nian Zhen was mistaken for a Nobles Child. One could actually praise the bravery of the group because they actually dared to confront Nian Zhen's group when they were just around level 40 and 50. Whereas Nian Zhen's group consisted of 4 level 50 Spirit masters.

One could probably guess what happened to them. Nian Zhen ordered his clones to stay back and fought by himself. Though he had gotten used to Human Corpses, it didn't mean that he wouldn't feel nauseous when killing a human for the first time.

After killing 3 out of 7 Nian Zhen felt his stomach acting up.

[Host, you should take a break today. Ask the clones to clean up the remaining ones.]

"Shit. Enron, all those Novels basically lied to us. For someone killing a person for the first time, they are bound to feel nauseous….sigh...i feel betrayed…" Nian Zhen said after ordering his Clones to clean the rest of them. Due to the reason that his clones can't feel any emotions, they were able to kill the remaining 4 smoothly.

[RIP NPCs.] Enron said.

On the road, Nian Zhen met many arrogant bastards from small families and sects, some useless bandits and some really irrelevant characters like those on the background of a Manga who have no face drawn at all.

Due to all these experiences, Nian Zhen quickly got used to killing. By the time he had reached near Star Dou Forest, Nian Zhen had completely stopped the slightest of hesitation when killing whoever he deemed his target/enemy.

[Host you should battle with spirit beasts too. The energy your core absorbs from them nourishes your body and your spirit ring unlike those gained from Humans.]

"Hmm." Nian Zhen nodded. Right now Nian Zhen was in front of the entrance of Star Dou Forest.

[Host. What will be the color of your spirit ring when you reach level 60?]

"I don't know. It depends upon my Dragon Soul and The Archangel. When I first awakened, those two had already attached themselves with 2 purple and one black ring with some gold patterns. This time must be the same as well." Nian Zhen said.

[But to think that your two souls can create their own rings, that was not expected.]

"Though if I want to increase their year, I would still need to kill spirit beasts. It seems that they won't directly produce high ranked rings."

[Affirmative. But this allowed the Host to be able to attach 2 purple and 3 black rings in his 3rd Martial Soul. The Host just needs to hunt strong spirit beasts and he can easily absorb their spirit ring.]

"..." Nian Zhen nodded.

Entering the forest, it would just take about 2-3 days until Nian Zhen reaches Suotuo City. For now, Nian Zhen was trying to hunt down Spirits to reach the next level.

Even if he may be a Spirit Beast, Nian Zhen didn't regard himself as one. Don't misunderstand, Nian Zhen didn't regard himself as a human either. Because his body and soul was that of a spirit beast and his memories were those of a Human, Nian Zhen didn't feel that he could fit in with either of the two races.

Nian Zhen had already sent 1 of his Clones towards Suotuo City to inform the other clone about his arrival. Currently with his 2 clones Nian Zhen was going slightly deeper inside the forest.

Hunting spirit beasts and spirit masters that came in his way, Nian Zhen was slowly breaking through to level 55. Few hours later, Nain Zhen was currently sitting on top of 10 corpses of spirit beasts covered in blood.

[Host. There is no one here. You don't have to act cool.] Enron suddenly said.

".....stfu" Nian Zhen grumbled.

"By the way, where is Shi Qi and Shi Liu?" Nian Zhen looked around for his Clones. Shi Liu and Shi Qi were named after their clone number. Shi Liu was sixteen whereas Shi Qi was seventeen. All his other clones were also named similarly.

[They must have gone to inspect the area. We are staying here for the day so they must have gone to look for a hideout.]

"Hmm." Nian Zhen felt a figure closing upon him. Glancing behind, Nian Zhen saw Shu QI had arrived.

"Lord, a cave was found. The spirit beast inside has already been taken care of by Shi Liu and me. The area has been thoroughly inspected. The place is safe." Shi Qi said.

"Good Job. Lead the way." Nian Zhen said to his clone. Along the way, Nian Zhen was currently thinking about Tang San and his group.

"If according to what Tang Hao said before, Tang San should be the same age around me. Meaning after about 3 months or so, he will arrive at Suotuo city." Nian Zhen thought.

Reaching the cave found out by his clones Nian Zhen ended the day by devouring 17 kg of Spirit Beast Meat.

After a whole day, Nian Zhen finally arrived at Suotuo city. Heading towards the location given by his clone, Nian Zhen arrived in front of a historic hotel, The Rose Hotel. His clone had ended up taking over the Rose Hotel just after arriving at Suotuo city. Right now, the base for his organization 'Chi Yue' was also located at Rose Hotel.

Heading inside, Nian Zhen met up with Si Lao, his third clone. Getting every bit of information sent by the other clones. Nian Zhen was deeply impressed. Many information that was not explained in the original Novel was now present in front of him. Minor to major events happening on the continent were also listed in the files.

"This is extremely detailed. How about information regarding the Sun and Moon Continent?" Nian Zhen asked Si Lao.

"Lord, Brother Wu has not yet sent his report. Because the continent is far, it may take some time for him to send his report. As soon as I receive the report I shall give it to my Lord." Si Lao said. The brother Wu he mentioned was the fifth clone Nian Zhen had created.

"Ok...these two are new. Give them some tasks. Give me a key for a free room. I am tired." Nian Zhen said, putting the report in his Inventory.

"Yes." Si Lao said respectfully, handing out a key to Nian Zhen.

That whole night, Nian Zhen went through every bit of information mentioned in the Report. After a long and tiring night, Nian Zhen came out of his room and met up with Si Lao.

"Good morning, Lord" The four clones bowed respectfully. Currently inside the office, Si Lao was giving the other three their tasks for today.

"Si Lao, I am heading towards the Great Spirit Arena. While I am gone, contact the others and tell them to do something that will make our organization famous around the mainland. Also send some to find some other yet to be discovered regions or continents on this world. " Nian Zhen said as he walked out of the office.

"Yes Lord." Si Lao said, immediately contacting the other clones on the mainland.
