7 Chapter 7: Awakening Spirit
[A/N: For a while I thought that douluo dalu was Japanese, but it doesn't feel like Japanese so I went to search and found that it was Chinese instead. Will make a few changes but not much. Mostly I'll just not use suffixes anymore, it was hard enough to try Japanese, I'm not going to get started on Chinese. Should've check novelupdates, it actually state the original language.]
[A/N: I guess MC name is obey or submit lightning now. It's kind of fitting consider some of the thing he can do in the future. Shun mean obey/sumit and Rai doesn't really mean anything much in Chinese.]

The trip to the spirit hall wasn't that long since Rai and the Homura live at the outskirt of the village near the road that lead to the closest town, which is only half a day away. The town is call Earth Dragon Town. It is the only place within 100 miles radius that have a spirit hall that can help kids awaken their spirit. The spirit awakening ceremony is conducted every month and anyone who wish to have their spirit awaken have to go there.
The trip to Earth Dragon Town is not really exciting since nothing happen to Rai's little group. Even if something did happen, as long as it's not someone/something on the level of a spirit master then Grandpa Homura can easily take care of it.
When they reach the spirit hall, Rai thought there will be a lot of kids but found out that aside from him and Seika, there is only 2 other kids. All four of them are waiting for the spirit master to come and help awaken their spirits.
'This is boring' Rai thought. 'hmmm, I haven't use my wishes since I got them so lets try [Observe] out. Hope I don't have to say it out loud.' Rai then turn to Seika and think 'Obseve'

[A little girl who parent passed away before she is even aware and was raise by her grandparent. Due to her parents and her own training in martial art, her spirit power is higher than average.]
'YES! it work, now to try on someone else' Rai thought then turn to the children on their side. 'observe, observe.'

[A young boy that grow up with a normal life in Earth Dragon Town]

[A normal girl without any spirit power.]
'So those Seika is the only one who have a decent start beside from me. I wonder what spirit Grandpa Homura have.' Rai wonder so he turn to Grandpa Homura. 'observe'

[An old man who dedicated his life to martial art after he found out he have no talent as a spirit master. Awake the cane spirit tool with the spirit power of 0 and no one to train him, he will never be able to reach rank 10. He decided to settle down and quit martial art when his son and daughter-in-law die to raise his granddaughter. Have recently taken in an apprentice.]
'Wow, I never knew Grandpa Homura wanted to become a spirit master' Rai thought as he continue to observe the people around him. After five more minute of waiting someone finally went onto what look like a small stage.
'Observe'

[A spirit master with no bright future that is stuck awakening new spirit in hope of getting a better position later on in life.]
'Well, with Seika and me here I say he stroke gold.' Rai thought 'Hold on, if I show that I have a twin spirit and Innate Full Spirit Power won't Spirit Hall comes after me? What should..' before he finish thinking Satoshi start to talk
"I don't have time to waste with you kids so lets get his over with." Satoshi said while glaring at the kids causing them to become a little scare. "Now when I call your name you come up, I unlock your power then you touch this orb to determined your spirit power."
"First is Chiba Ango." Satoshi call out loudly causing the boy who name was called to jump in fright. It wasn't until the boy's dad urge him on that the boy went on stage. After the ceremony the boy got a tool spirit: Nail and the orb measure his spirit power to be 1. After the boy was the girl, Kinjo Aye, turn. She got a tool spirit: gardening hoe. and show a spirit power of 0.
Then it was Seika's turn. When she awaken her spirit, a red light flash and afterward a small ring made of fire appear above her hand. Satoshi then handed the orb to Seika which cause the orb to glow brightly impressing Satoshi and he told her that she have a spirit power of 9 and a bright future ahead.
After Seika was finish, she happily run back and jump hug Rai causing Rai who wasn't paying attention, due to worrying about Spirit Hall, to stumble. Before they get to talk Satoshi called Rai's name.
'I guess i'll just wing it' Rai thought as he walk up to the stage. When Rai awaken his spirit a sliver glow with few streak of blue appear. After it was gone a pair of glove appear on his left hand and a different but familiar energy on his right hand.
As he was trying to figure out that the glove is her hear Satoshi say "What a waste of time, a trash spirit just like the other two. Get out of the way, I have someone to talk to." as Satoshi walk away, which give Rai some mix emotion. He was relief that Satoshi didn't bother to measure his spirit power but at the same time a little angry at the complete disregard.
'Whatever, it's better this way as Spirit Hall won't find out about me' Rai thought as he turn back to Seika and Grandpa Homura only to find out that Satoshi walked toward Grandpa Homura before and just finish talking to him. Rai made his way to Grandpa Homura when Satoshi was leaving.
"So what did he want?" Rai asked clearly displease at Satoshi.
"He want Seika to enter a primary spirit master academy and I agree. She will be leaving in about three month when a new term start." Grandpa Homura replied
"What!" They both hear a yell from the side and saw that it was from Seika. "But I don't want leave Rai and Grandpa." Seika says as she try to not to cry.
Rai was thinking 'If she goes to the academy then she can learn to become a spirit master, on the other hand if she stay, both Grandpa Homura and I don't know how to teach her. I have a spirit manual but 'God' said to not let other use it.' Rai concluded that he should convince Seika to enter the academy. After all she won't be able to learn otherwise.
At first she kept saying she wouldn't go, but after Rai told her his future plan of going to Shrek Academy in Suotuo City and that only strong people can enter there. Seika finally reluctantly agree to go to the academy so she can follow him. Afterward they left to stay at an inn so they leave early in the morning.
