31 Chapter 31: Emperor Team

Inside the meeting room, Yu Xiaogang is explained to everyone that they will battle against a silver rank team next. He give everyone a report of who the members are, their spirit and what he know about the other team.

When Yu Xiaogang told everyone that the opponents, Emperor Team, were all rank 35 and above, everyone got a bit nervous about how they were going to win. Tang San made his speech and everyone got a confidence boost.

While everyone was pumping themselves up, Yu Xiaogang break the news to them that Rai will be joining the fight. Everyone stop, then sigh in relief. Even if they are confidence, they are still not 100% sure they are going to win. Now with Rai joining their chance of wining just shot up by a lot.

The next day as they were going to the arena, Rai ask "Guys, I have an idea, can you keep everyone off of me and Yu Tainghen?"

Tang San thinks for a bit and ask back "How sure are you that it's going to work."

"Not 100%, but unless someone on our team got careless, it won't be a disadvantage for our team and would only weaken their." Rai

"Well then, lets try it" Tang San

When both team enter the arena, the announcer announce the start of the match and everyone pick and opponent to distract. Tang San stay back as he try to help anyone in trouble and keep an eye on Gugu Yan (Jade Phosphor Serpent) team Emperor control spirit master.

Zhuqing went to keep Osler (Black Leopard) an agility spirit master occupy. While Fatty and Mubai went to attack the Shi Mo twin(Black Tortoise) who are defense spirit master.

Xiao Wu make sure to keep Yu Feng (Wind Chime Bird) another agility spirit master in check. Rongrong and Xie Lingling team Emperor support stay back and help anyone they can.

Rai head straight for Yu Tainheng (Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon) when he see that everyone else on have been taken care of.

"So your team decide to send you to die first." Yu Tainheng said arrogantly.

"What can I say, I want to see how strong the so call strongest beast spirit is. Thou I don't think it'll amount to much in your hand." Rai taunted.

"I see, I'm going to enjoy making you regret what you just said." Yu Tainheng said emotionlessly even if he is clearly angry.

"Well then, show me what you got." Rai said as he summon his first spirit ring. With his speed boosted by 70%, Rai easily reach Yu Tainheng as he slash out with his blade. Surprise at the speed Yu Tainheng barely manage to react fast enough to activate his second spirit skill Thunder Crush. It discharge lightning all around Yu Tainheng forcing Rai back.

"Wow, you beast spirit is powerful. it was actually able to push a spirit ancestor back with the power a spirit elder." Rai said sarcastically.

This made Yu Tainheng angrier but he didn't answer this time. Instead he activate his first spirit skill, Thunder Dragon Claw, and repeatedly shoot claw after claw at Rai. After dodging for a while, Rai decide to test out the power of Yu Tainheng's lightning.

Rai uses Lightning Blade and strike at the Thunder Dragon Claw. When they clash, Rai was able to tell that the power of the claw is actually as powerful as his lightning. Even though he is a spirit ancestor and Yu Tainheng is a spirit elder.

'I guess the word tyrant really is fitting for this lightning. Unlike mine, this one feels more uncontrollable, but I wonder if I can still control it.' Rai thought. He then secretly activate his fourth spirit ring and try to control a little bit of Yu Tainheng's lightning.

Rai smile as he look at Yu Tainheng. "It seem you do have a bit of power, but you are like a kid using a club to beat other kids. You don't know how to use it at all. Come on attack me with all you got, I'll show you the true power of lightning." Rai taunt Yu Tainheng

"YOU ASKED FOR IT!" Yu Tainheng yell angrily at his opponent repeated disregard for his power. He uses his third ring Thunder Fury to boost the power of his Thunder Dragon Claw by 100% and send it toward Rai.

Seeing Yu Tainheng fire his Thunder Dragon Claw at Rai, Rai smirk and said "Your lightning may be powerful, but you don't have control over it." Rai made a Lightning Spear and uses his Lightning Control to gather the lightning power of Thunder Dragon Claw into his Lightning Spear, which almost triple it in size as Rai add his own lightning to the mix.

While Rai was gathering the power of Yu Tainheng's lightning, he tell his team "EVERYONE RETREAT." Then Rai turn toward team Emperor as they also gather near each other. "THIS IS WHAT THE TRUE POWER OF LIGHTNING CAN DO!" Rai yell as he throw the Lightning spear toward them.

Rai uses Lightning control to split the Lightning Spear into seven lightning spears with the biggest three going toward Yu Tainheng and the two Shi Mo brother. As the member of team Emperor try to dodge, the lightning spears follow them where ever they go.

The lightning then hits everyone on team Emperor. The first one to pass out was their support Xie Lingling, the second being their poison user Gugu Yan, shortly after the two light attack class Osler and Yu Feng also fainted, lastly was the two defense class Shi Mo twin.

Finally after the lightning power die down, everyone see that everyone on team Emperor is down, except for worn out Yu Tainheng who is still standing due having a little resistance to lightning for having a Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon spirit.

"This is the end." Rai said as he gather the remaining lightning power on the body of the fainted Emperor team member and in the air. He then condense it into another Lightning Spear and throw it at Yu Tainheng.

"I WILL NOT LOSE!" Yu Tainheng yell as he gather his reaming power into another lightning claw and send it at the lightning spear.

"You haven't learn it yet have you." Rai said. "Lightning is my domain." Rai then uses Lightning Control again and absorb the lightning claw into the spear. The spear grow slightly bigger as it continue toward Yu Tainheng. Then it went right past Yu Tainheng and right into the arena wall. As everyone look back at Yu Tainheng, they can see that he already fainted do to overusing his spirit power, making this another win for Shrek.
