27 Chapter 27: More Training

The training day went like it did before. Yu Xiaogang have the students fought each other. However, instead of Tang San vs Mubai, it was them Mubai fighting Rai. Yu Xiaogang told Rai to only use the spirit ring that everyone know he have before. Rai manage to win because Mubai couldn't hit him and Rai use Mubai anger against him.

The second fight went the same as before. Afterward Yu Xiaogang yell at everyone calling out their mistake during the fight. Mubai rush in without thinking, Tang San let his guard down, Fatty didn't pay attention to their support, Oscar didn't try to stay safe and finally Rai rely on his speed too much. He didn't say anything about Rongrong or Zhuqing because they didn't fight.

Rai was surprise by that evaluation and thought 'I guess I do rely too much on my speed, there might be enemies in the future who can keep up with me. I guess I should use Grandpa Homura teaching in fights more.'

After the lecture, Yu Xiaogang made everyone including Rongrong and Zhuqing who didn't fight, walk 400 hundred miles to Soutuo City while carrying rocks and using no spirit power. Rai saw the weight in his basket. The weight were a lot less then what Grandpa Homura would usually make him carry, but he figure that he would need to help the other so he didn't say anything.

Two miles in, everyone was getting a little tire and some wanted to cheat since no one is watching. Tang San manage to convince everyone that this must be a test of teamwork and got everyone to work together.

After going halfway, since Oscar and Rongrong are support class and physically weaker, Mubai took Oscar's rock and Rongrong give her to Rai. 3/4 of the way there, Rai took Fatty's rock while Mubai took some of Xiao Wu's rock. Since Seika was also train by Grandpa Homura, she was still doing fine even if a little tire. Since Mubai was higher rank and are carrying less weight, he last untill the 380 miles mark and the other offer to take their rocks back. Rai also pretend to be a little tire and give some rocks back to Fatty and Rongrong. When they reach 395 miles, Rongrong fainted like before so Rai give Rongrong's rock to Mubai and carry her princess carry style. Seika was too tired to even be jealous at that time. At 398 miles Oscar fainted so Tang San give his rock to Mubai and carry Oscar. When they near the city, everyone was ok enough to carry some rocks so they distribute the rocks leaving Rai and Mubai with the most.

When the reach Suotuo City, everyone was happy and they fainted, except for Rai.

Yu Xiaogang raise an eyebrow and ask "You aren't tire?"

"I am, but Grandpa Homura made me train similar to this everyday when I was little. Even if I don't do something this intense anymore, I still do physical activity." Rai answer.

"What rank is your Grandpa Homura?" Yu Xiaogang ask interest in someone that does this kind of training.

"He isn't a spirit master, he's a martial artist. He also taught me how to fight, and I guess you were right that I rely on my speed too much. I'll try to use Grandpa's teaching more." Rai answer then ask "where are we going to take them?"

"We?" Yu Xiaogang

"Yes, I still have enough energy to carry them if I'm not carrying rocks" Rai

"Hmm. There is an inn that I prepare a herb bath in. We'll carry them there." Yu Xiaogang said as he pick up Tang San and Xiao Wu. He thought 'So it wasn't entirely due to his two spirit working together that he can absorb spirit rings higher then usual, he also train his physical body to the extreme.'

"Ok" Rai reply as he pick up Rongrong and Seika, then put Oscar into the basket and follow after Yu Xiaogang. As for Fatty, Mubai and Zhuqing, Yu Xiaogang hire some people to help carry them.

When they reach the inn, Rai give Rongrong and Seika to the lady servant, pick up Mubai and Fatty and carry them to the herb bath. Rai then took off their clothes beside their underwear then throw Fatty and Mubai into the bath making them jump up in fight then fell back down into the bath too tire to move. While Rai put Oscar down more gently since Oscar fainted before. Tang San was taken care of by Yu Xiaogang. Rai then got into his own bath and soak for the rest of the night asleep as it was already near morning.

The next morning Rai woke up to the sound of Fatty yelling. Annoyed that Fatty woke him up, Rai sent a small bolt of lightning to shock Fatty.

"You should be quite when people are sleeping." Rai complain.

Fatty glare at Rai and said "Consider it revenge for throwing me into the water yesterday."

"Eh? You notice it was me? I thought you were too tire to notice" Rai

"Of course I notice" Fatty yell as he throw a fried drumstick at Rai.

Rai caught the drumstick and said "Thanks for the food." which made Fatty angrier. Before Fatty can do anything else, Mubai came and drag Fatty away to peak on girls. Rai wasn't worry because he know the girl would beat them up before they see anything, or beat them up until they forget everything.

A few days later after a wall broke and everyone settle down. Yu Xiaogang gather everyone up to tell everyone that they will be fighting in the Grand Spirit Arena to pay back the dept they own because of the training. Everyone will enter the arena everyday in a 1v1 and once again in a 2v2 while support class enter 2v2 twice.

Rai was pair with Mubai since they both are the closest in rank. Rongrong got pair up with Seika. Oscar will pair once with Tang San and once with Xiao Wu making Xiao Wu pout as she didn't get to team up with Tang San. Fatty and Zhuqing decide to only do 1v1.

Yu Xiaogang also give them name like before. Thousand Hands Asura Tang San, Evil Eye White Tiger Dai Mubai, Food God Oscar, Hellfire Phoenix Ma Hongjun, Soft Bones Demon Rabbit Xiao Wu, Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Ning Rongrong, Neither Cat Zhu Zhuqing, Fire Queen Homura Seika, and Speed Demon Xiong ShunRai. [A/N: As you can see I use some name from the manga and some from the novel. There is no major reason, I just like some more then other.]

For the team battle Rai will stay out unless needed as a secret card. Rongrong and Oscar will change every round or if one is unable to battle. As for their name, they are the Devil Kings of Shrek.
