2 Chapter 2: Wishes

[A/N: I was going to wait a whole day to upload a new chapter, but I somehow release chapter 2 with chapter 1 so here we are fixed. Unless there is something worth celebrating over, I won't release more then one chapter a day.]

Chapter 2: Wishes

"My first wish is the ability to absorb other spirit rings to add to the age of my spirit ring." Rai

"What makes you think that is a good idea? There are so many problem with that ability that I can write book just listing the problem, but I'm not going to bored us with that so I'll just tell you the most obvious one." God

"You see, different organism have different type of, what is the right word to describe it?, oh how about energy or essence, yes lets go with essence. Even in the same species, no wait it's better to say same family, the essence of the each individual is different other, even twins essence are different from each other. You can see example of this in the world you are going to. One of the most obvious one is Yu Xiaogang, he is a descendent in a clan with dragons as their spirit and yet he have a dog, or what look like a dog, as his spirit." God

"It's already hard enough for the people there to absorb one ring every ten rank in order to get stronger and you want to mix I don't know how many other essence into your rings? Where did you even get that idea. Even in the best case scenario you will end up with a useless ring. Worst case, you explode." God

"Hahaha" Rai laugh awkwardly as he scratch the back of his head. "Well I read it from fanfiction I found online and thought that if Douluo is real then the things in fanfiction might be real as well"

(A/N: If you don't know I'm talking about 'Douluo Dalu: Wulin's Legend' it's a great fanfic, if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it.)

"Well, some are real but most are just the author making things up to feel good about themselves." God

"Wait, so does that mean I am a made up character in a fanfiction as well?" Rai said nervously.

"Do you really want me to answer that?" God

"Good point. I rather not find out." Rai

"So, is there anyway I can age my rings?" Rai

"There is, I can give you a manual that will allow you to cultivate your rings along with yourself but do be careful, if you focus too much on your rings, you can easily fall behind other." God

"Great I'll take that." Rai says excitedly. "Now for my second wish, I want the gamer's power [observe]."

"Well, I can't really give you the power from other Gods and most of the power of the gamer belong to Gaia. So at most I can give you is the something similar." God

"Lets see, I'll just call it Observe too, with it you can see the name of the person/thing you observe, see people most use skill, see what spirit ring skill you will get from what beast, and a small amount of description depending on your power so if they are more powerful, you'll see less." God

"Not the best, I suppose it's ok" Rai

"Good, now you have one wish left. Though I am curious why you didn't just wish for a system." God

"I don't really like having to be told what to do. Beside feel like most people that have a system become something like a servant to the system, all the system have to do is say, 'You do this and I'll give you that as a reward etc' and the people go on to try to complete without question ask. Sometime they weren't even given a choice and have to do something at the risk of their life." Rai

"Well, it's nice to see that someone can think for them self without needing an assistant to tell them what to do. So, your last wish?" God

"Now for my third wish… wait I forgot to ask, would I keep my memory?" Rai

"HAHAHA, so you caught on huh. No you won't, after all you'll be reincarnated. To keep your memory, you'll have to use a wish." God

"Dammit, I knew I shouldn't trust reincarnation fanfic, they are too good to be true. Can I change my wish?" Rai

"Too late, they already been granted." God said while smiling widely.

"Bastard" Rai said in a low voice while facing down.

"You say something?" God asked. As Rai look up he see God looking at him still having a big smile on his face but when he saw the smile this time he feel a chill down his spine.

"N-Nothing" Rai reply

"Good, now your last wish." God

"I was going to wish for my own personal space like the spirit ascension platform to train but since I only have one wish left. I wish to keep my mem… wait no, I wish to remember everything about my past life after I reach 2 years old in Douluo Dalu." Rai

"Smart choice of word, that way you can remember some of the things you would usually forget when reading. Granted." God

"So what happen now?" Rai

"Now you get throw into the your new world." God

"Throw, you mean figuratively right?" Rai ask nervously.

God just smile again at that. Rai have a feeling that something he isn't going to like is going to happen. Just as he was about to say ask why God was smiling he heard the sound of something creaking below and look down. When he looked down he saw that there is no longer a floor below him. Instead he saw the sky and start falling down.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOUUUU BAASSSTERDDDDD, AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh…." Rai scream as the trap door in the sky close.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA, I haven't have fun like this in ages, I should do this more often." God. 'Now then maybe I should send him a little gift to make sure he don't die so soon. After all, all his wish is to make sure that he grow stronger later. Don't want him to die on his first fight.'

"Oh I should just give him 'this', it will help him survive. If it doesn't then there is no point in him surviving cause he will be just that bad." God

(A/N: This story will closely follow the original story with some changes since I know that if I change too much I will most likely ran out of ideas and won't know how to continue the story. Don't worry, there will be changes and it will focus on MC while Tang San went to do his own thing. I assume everyone that read this know the story of Douluo dalu so I will most likely skim over most of the things in the original story that focus on other character(s) development unless it's important, like when they get a power up, or making fun of other character's relationship when I get the chance :D. That mean this won't be a retelling of Douluo Dalu(kind of) instead it will be the story of Xiong ShunRai that is going on while the story happen)
