11 Chapter 11: More Time Skip

It been three years since Rai got his first Spirit Ring. Seika left for the academy three month after and Rai found out that the academy she is going to is actually Nuoding Academy. The same one that Tang San and Xiao Wu is going to.

From the letters Seika send him, Rai learn that when Seika and Xiao Wu met, they didn't like each other much and even argue a few time. But after seeing Xiao Wu hanging out with Tang San so much, Seika started teasing Xiao Wu about it and in the end they manage to become friend.

Rai also found out that he was able to use both his spirits at the same time. Even though twin spirit user are only suppose to be able to use one at a time. Rai concluded that it must have been because his Raiju spirit influence his Battle Suit spirit during its evolution that make it so he can use both at the same time.

With the information that he can use both, he decided to change his plan on how to use his spirit. He is still going to use his Raiju as an attack system but he will use his Full Battle Suit as a support system for the Raiju with a focus on speed.

When Rai use both spirit together nothing change much beside his armor's hand turn into metal claw, he have wolf ear and lightning dance around his whole suit. Since it look like he only have one spirit in this mode, he decided to trick people and tell them that his spirit is a tool spirit: Lightning Wolf Battle Suit.

It isn't without any downside though. Even with the Battle Suit helping him conserve energy. He can at most use it for 5 minute and that wasn't even counting the energy spend in a fight. The Battle Suit by itself he can use for 40 minute and the Raiju he was able to last 16 minute normally.

Almost a year after getting the first ring. Rai was able to become a rank 20 spirit master. Since he want to want his Battle armor to be an Agility/Support system, he decided to go see what spirit ring the king of the forest, the Dusk Gold Dreadclaw Bear, can give him. When he saw that the bear will give him a Strength Boost skill, he decided to get the bear spirit ring as his Battle Suit second ring.

By using his Battle Suit in timed interval, Rai was able to use his speed to his advantage and tired out the Bear after an hour of battle. He was finally able to kill it and absorb the spirit ring.

Now after training in the manual that 'God' have given him for three years, he decided to call it Spirit Ascension Manual in hope that it can help him all the way to godhood, Rai was finally able to reach rank 30 Spirit Grandmaster two month ago but without any suitable rings. He wasn't able to cultivate his rank more.

On the bright side, he was able to age his ring without worry. Now both his ring are at the 3,000-4,000 age. With his rank now, he is able to last longer in battle. He can last at least 18 minute with both his spirit activated. He didn't bother measuring the time for his spirit individually anymore since he will only use one spirit to battle people weaker then him and use both to battle people as strong or stronger then him.

Rai also tried to use his spirit power to break a bowl. The first time he did it, he passed out do to overusing his spirit power and didn't even leave a crack on the bowl. The next day after that Rai decide to take a page from Naruto and start with a leaf instead.

Since the leaf is not a hard material, Rai choose to crumble it instead of break it. He tried it for a month before he was finally able to crumble the leaf a bit without blowing it away. After 3 months Rai was finally able to crumble the leaf easily without blowing it away. The reason it took so long was because of his low amount of spirit power at his current level.

When the leaf training end Rai then got back to the bowl and was finally able to leave a small crack on it. Between every time he try to break a bowl, Rai would up the number of leaves he have to crush at the same time. It took him two years, a lot of broken bowl/clay pots that he totally didn't steal, to finally be able to do it without much effort.

'I hit a bottle neck' Rai thought to himself as he return from training. 'Since Grandpa Homura finish training me and I won't be able to improve anymore here without a suitable spirit ring. I should talk to Grandpa about leaving. But first,' Rai look toward his hand. 'obverse'

"Grandpa" Rai said as he make his way into the house.

"Yes?" Grandpa Homura ask form the living room.

Rai then make his way to the living room and saw Grandpa Homura sitting in the same chair that he always sit in when he have nothing to do. "I want to talk to you about my next spirit ring" Rai said as he sit down. "I have a feeling I won't be able to find it here and since I finish you training I was wondering if I can leave home to explore the world."

*sigh* Grandpa Homura. "I knew that you would leave sooner or later with how talented you are, but to think it would be so soon. Yes you can go."

"But Grandpa... Wait? Did you say yes?" Rai ask

"Yes I did" Grandpa Homura

"Just like that?" Rai

"Yes, just like that. Were you expecting anything else?" Grandpa Homura

"I thought I would have a hard trying to convince you. I even have a whole speech prepare" Rai said annoyed. "Now I feel like all my effort are wasted doing something pointless."

"Hahaha. Of course I would agree. You are smart enough to take care of yourself and now that you are a spirit grandmaster, you are also strong enough to protect yourself. I was wondering why you didn't leave sooner." Grandpa told him while laughing.

Rai face turn a bit red from embarrassment and said "I was thinking of ways to convince you." which cause Grandpa Homura to laugh louder.

After a few second Grandpa Homura stop laughing and ask "When are you leaving?"

"Since there is noting much here for me I think I will leave tomorrow." Rai answer.

"Tomorrow huh. Well, before you leave tomorrow, wait for me. I want to give something to you. I just need to find where I put it." Grandpa Homura told him.

"Yes Grandpa." Rai answer then he got up for an after training bath and to sleep for the night.

[A/N: If you are wondering why his training speed is so fast even when he is splitting his time between cultivating himself, cultivating his ring, and martial arts training. The answer is simple, he is very talented and have a manual that is tailor specifically for him made by a ROB. That is why he train so fast.]

[ROB: What I told Rai before is still true. That if he wrote his novel, WW3 will happen sooner and if he didn't it will happen later. But if it did happen, Rai would have been one of the leader that fought and ended that war making him a Hero of WW3. I feel unease about putting off someone with that much potential. I feel that it might come back and bite me in the butt if i didn't do anything, so I decided to create some good Karma between him and me. Which lead to where we are now.]
