Chapter 9

Steven was sound asleep, under the tree a the top of the hill, with his sister, Bai Feng, laying on his lap, also sleeping. The soft and comfortable wind slowly blew on them, causing Steven's long snow-white hair to flatter in the air. The rising sun coming up from the horizon brighten up the town down below before the light hit Steven's eyes, awakening him. His pupil-less milk eyes switched to the Saṃsāra Eyes for a split second before going back to normal.

He rubbed his eyes before stretching, 'That sleep was uncomfortable.' He thought, rubbing his back. 'And my legs are also asleep.' looking down at the sleeping Bai Fen he shook her awake.

"Good morning." Bai Feng said, with a loud yawn. She stood up and started stretching while Steven waited for his leg to become normal before standing up and joining her.

After finishing the stretch, they both got down ad started doing pushups. Steven did 57 in a row while Bai Feng did 70 in a row. After that, they took a little rest and followed it up with a squat, sit-ups, jumping jacks, before finishing it up with a 1 mile run up and down the hill. This was their daily routine, to stay in shape, and keep getting stronger. After the routine, they were both mentally and physically drained, with Steven being the worst.

'This is annoying. But it is the best way to get stronger. I can't neglect it.' Steven thought, breathing heavily. 'By now, I am most likely stronger than my past self which is kind of shameful yet not. After all, this world was a higher rank world.'

They rested for some minutes before Steven sat up, and looked at Bai Feng chasing a butterfly.

'First lets, go back to our home and take a bath before changing into the clothes Grandfather fave me. I am starting to smell.' Standing up, Steven looked at bai Feng once more, before grabbing the sack of coin beside him, before tapping Bai Feng's right shoulder. [Let's go home to take a shower then get some food and clothes. We will be going to Nuoding City for school after that]

Bai Feng followed with no objection, letting the butterfly fly away. They both ran down the hill and into the town, Steven immediately feeling something wrong. The townsfolk were acting differently. Before, they will all come and start greeting Bai Feng while praising her for her beauty but now they were all avoiding them and whispering. Seeing this, he already knows the reason but decided to still listing closely.

"Those two, they really killed their parents." A town person said, in a hushed tone.

"The boy killed the father while the girl killed the mother." Another one said.

'How did I get into this killing rumor? I wasn't even close to the house when it happened.' Steven thought while listening closely.

"I heard it was the boy's fault."

"Makes sense. I mean, look at his eyes. He is blind yet able to see. How does that work? He has the eyes of a demon beast."

'Oh, I see. The blame is pushed into the innocent boy rather than the little angel of a killer. Disgusting people. Just you all wait, once you start hearing the name, Steven, the Godly God, you all will regret this day.' Steven thought, spitting on the ground.

Looking at Bai Feng, he saw her happily walking ahead while smiling brightly, unknown of the incident happening around her. Sighing, Steven sped up and got him. Doing a quick search, he didn't find his parent's dead body so he decided to go wash up and gather some food and spare clothes.

Putting everything in a sack, he proceeded to walk out the house, wearing a dark red shirt, black pants, and black shoes, Bai Feng following after him, wearing a gown. While walking through the town, he noticed the gossip becoming louder, not caring if he hears it.

'As long as it isn't physically, the abuse won't bother me much -'

A stone suddenly hit his head, cutting off his thought.

"You parent killer. Leave the town." A make child shouted, taking another stone from his pile on his hand and throwing it.

Bai Feng quickly got in front of Steven to block the stone, "What are you doing that for?" She shouted, looking at the boy.

"Your brother is a murderer. Get out the way if you don't want to get hit." The boy said, about to throw another stone.

Steven touched the place on his head where the stone and looked at his fingers, seeing some res liquid. 'Blood. MY blood!'

Anger boiled up within him as he pushed Bai Feng out of the way, ran up to the boy, and punched him hard on the nose, throwing the boy on the floor. His strength was currently equal to that of an adult male, so the child nose was completely crush.

Getting on top of the screaming boy with blood flooding out of his nose and mouth, Steven started giving a barrage of punches at the boy, blood spurting all over. The bystander watched in horror, one of them running to stop him but Bai Feng reaching him first.

"Brother stop it." She shouted, grabbing and pulling his arm which he ignored and kept punching. Using her superior strength, she managed to pull him off but by then, the little boy was already dead.

'You fucking dumbass. This is a dog-eat-dog world. I am a superior being than you and yet you dear attack me? You were my first kill and I won't be remembering you.' Steven thought, spitting on the boy's corps shocking the bystanders.

One woman fell on her knees crying as it was her son that was killed. Steven casually cleaned the blood on his face, arranging his clothes. Three big men, probably farmers for the town, stood in front of them, blocking their path.

"Kid, why would you do that!?" One of them asked, looking down on Steven.

Ignoring him, Steven brought out his Saṃsāra Pen and dashed toward the man, stabbing him multiples times in his stomach before he could retaliate by punching Steven across his face, making him bleed. Looking down at his stomach, littered with more than five stabs, each of them bleeding profusely, he quickly moved away, wanting to tend to it.

Seeing what Steven did and sensing danger, Bai Feng borough out her Dule Ashura blade, instantly scaring everyone to move away. Walking up to Steven, she worriedly asked,

"Brother, are you okay?"

Steven stood up, cleaning the blood coming out the side of his mouth, and began walking away, ignoring Bai Feng. She quickly followed after him, everyone parting ways as they came by once they saw her sword.

'Fucking town. Just you wait. I will slaughter all of you when I get to level 20.' Steven thought, walking out of the town.
