24 Chapter 19 - Ma Hongjun's Loyalty and Oscar's Nightmare

A month has passed since the two siblings entered Shrek and many things happened to them since, first is Xingyun who overcame his shortcoming after day two, this actually shocked Flender and Zhao Wuji, they thought that he could only overcome it after a week but after only two days, he not only fixed his tendency to taunt his enemies while fighting, he wasn't even fazed when Flender directed his killing intent at him.

For the past month, Flender and Zhao Wuji realized that Xingyun is much much more talented than Bao'er, he is just like a cat on the battlefield, he is so unpredictable that you'll never know what he's gonna do next, in addition to this, his flexibility and dodging capabilities is honed to the extreme, even Flender couldn't come close to hitting him.

Xingyun decided to focus on honing his control of destiny this past month, his only physique training is when he fought the teachers of Shrek without holding anything back, he could tie with Zhao Wuji, because he could easily dodge all of Zhao Wuji's attacks, but at the same time he couldn't significantly injure Zhao Wuji, he could also last a battle with Flender, because like him Flender is also a spirit master who focuses on his speed and strength, so even if Flender couldn't hit Xingyun because of his extreme dodging capabilities, Xingyun also can't hit Flender because even if he could predict Flender's next moves and hit him when there's a chance, Flender's reflexes is just too fast for Xingyun to have a chance to catch him off guard with all his attacks.

Bao'er also improved a lot this past month, because she and Zhao Wuji almost have the same battle style, they benefit each other, Zhao Wuji fought Bao'er until she could surpass her limits again and again, while Bao'er taught Zhao Wuji how to use his pressure to weaken the will of his opponents to weaken them, she also gained a devout follower, which is Ma Hongjun.

In the start, Ma Hongjun just wanna avoid the fearsome woman at all costs but there came a time where Bao'er just can't stomach how she hated how Ma Hongjun frequently visits many different women just to have sex or visit the brothels just to do it. She confronted Ma Hongjun about it, "Hey fatty, I just can't understand how you jump from woman to woman just to get between their legs, I am disgusted by you, even Mubai can't compare to you", Bao'er is a believer of monogamy, so she can't stomach Ma Hongjun's attitude towards women.

I only do it because my variant spirit's yang is too much and I need to take yin from women to calm it down or else the evil fire in my body will explode and I will die", Ma Hongjun was riled up because of what he heard from Bao'er, because he never chose to be such a vulgar person.

"Tsk, PATHETIC, how can you even call yourself a monster if you can't even control your fire, you are the possessor of it, don't let it possess you and control your life just because you can't control it now and don't use it as an excuse, for me it isn't enough of an excuse to forgive you for your lecherousness", when Bao'er heard Ma Hongjun's reason, she didn't feel pity for him instead she remarked how pathetic of him it is, because he couldn't control his own fire then she walked away from Ma Hongjun.

This directly struck Ma Hongjun speechless and he realized that what Bao'er said was right, why did he have to fear something that is basically controlling him right now? When Ma Hongjun thought of it this way, he felt furious and he was determined to control this evil fire inside him before it controlled him.

"Bao'er! No, Young miss! Please help me how to control my evil fire! I'll do anything to achieve it", this statement made Bao'er stop on her tracks and because of the determination she felt in his voice, she agreed to help him. She first went and asked his brother for advice regarding this and Xingyun speculated that maybe if Ma Hongjun tries to weaken his evil fire as much as possible, he could train to control it then when he can completely control it he could slowly strengthen the fire he could control until finally, maybe someday Ma Hongjun could completely control control his evil fire.

When Ma Hongjun heard this, he was awed by Xingyun's wisdom but Bao'er is still the one who supervised Ma Hongjun's training, in the morning Bao'er helps Ma Hongjun control his evil fire by showing him how she controls her own fire, which is much weaker than evil fire but is super controlled, in the noon Ma Hongjun and her will spar until Ma Hongjun collapses, then at night Ma Hongjun will weaken his evil fire but because of his exhaustion he sometimes couldn't do it, so Bao'er only trains him every other day, for him to have time to maintain his evil fire at it's weakest.

Because of the way Bao'er patiently helps and trains Ma Hongjun, he admired her to the point that he will do anything she demands him to do.

Dai Mubai actually also changed a lot, at first he always flirts with Bao'er and constantly tries to take advantage of her not realizing her age because of her exceptional beauty, after a week of it Bao'er snapped and she uppercut Mubai so hard that he flew 5 meters into the sky.

This made him stay in bed for a week, in the week that he is confined, Xingyun visited him and informed him of Bao'er's age because even if Xingyun didn't wanna meddle in the two's business, because Bao'er hates anyone who tries to solve her problems for her when she can, he still couldn't help himself and said Bao'er's age to Mubai.

Her age shocked Mubai and he felt ashamed of himself, because he tried to hit on someone who is just 8 years old! How embarrassing is that?

When he recovered and is allowed to come out again, he didn't try to hit on her again but he still tries to get to her good side. He stopped hitting on other girls, which made Bao'er's impression of her somewhat better but not enough to forgive him for what he did.

Mubai even joined Bao'er's hellish training sessions because he wanted to impress Bao'er.

Oscar also changed a lot but not as much as the others, Xingyun and him became friends because of their eccentric personalities and Xingyun wanna strengthen his new friend, so what he did was wake Oscar up every morning by shouting the loudest way possible then drag him to the fields to train, this became a nightmare for Oscar, he even regretted befriending a training maniac like Xingyun, he also begged Flender to help him but Flender refused him and he was dragged by Xingyun to train every morning.
