84 Battle (Part 1/2).

And once again I'm saying to all those people who don't like my fanfiction and think it has bad grammars, wrong wordings, trash story and an unlikeable MC, please just stop reading and leave silently.

I'm not forcing anyone to read this. But giving my story bad reviews and saying that I don't know how to write and my story feels childish and illogical, I have repeatedly said that I'm an amateur author who's first work is this fanfic.

Yesterday, I recieved at least 8 bad reviews. Saying only like story is trash, author is stupid and sometimes even only [...] this without giving any reason and that made the ratings of my story degrade highly after which I deleted all of them. It made me very demotivated that's why I didn't post any chapter yesterday. So I request you that if you don't like it just stop reading, it's as simple as that. Why make someone demoralise. Well whatever.

Any suggestions reviews and comments are appreciated either good or not. Now I'm out.

Grandmaster then walked a little forward as he said :

"Rest for a while and recover your spirit power quickly. After which you'll be fighting against Tang Ming as a team."

Grandmaster glanced at all of them as they nodded their head in agreement as they sat on the ground with their eyes closed and started recovering the spent spirit power.

"Xiao Ming, tell me what spirit rank have you reached?" Grandmaster turned toward Tang Ming as he asked with a gentle smile.

"I'm a 56th-level Spirit King." Tang Ming answered without any hesitation as he wasn't planning to hide it.

Grandmaster only had an expression of a slight surprise which then turned into a smile as he nodded his head at him. Tang Ming was a little surprised to not find any overly exaggerated change in Grandmaster eyes as if he has expected this outcome.

"Well, I've already speculated that you wouldn't come back before reaching Spirit King but still I'm pleasantly surprised that not only you reached Spirit King, you're already halfway through reaching Spirit Emperor."

Grandmaster the explained after seeing Tang Ming looking at him.

"And I have to ask you to not show mercy to them in the fight. After training and reaching Spirit Ancestor at only this age and the successive wins in the spirit arena without them losing a single battle, had made them a little arrogant."

"It's not bad to have a little arrogance but if they continue to be like this, it is bound to become their downfall in the coming tournament."

Tang Ming nodded his head in agreement as he also told Grandmaster to add something in the rules so that he can crush their arrogance. After listening to what Tang Ming said Grandmaster didn't say anything and just looked at him seriously after which he walked toward Flender and the other.

"Flender, tell me can you sense at what spirit rank Tang Ming is at now?"

Flender didn't say anything but looked at Tang Ming for a moment before he shook his head, "No."

Zhao Wuji too shook his head in denial. After which the three of them turn simultaneously to look at Liu Erlong.

"Don't look at me. I too can't sense his strength at all." She said in annoyance as her interest was piqued.

"It should be some kind of ability that let him hide his spirit power fluctuation and aura." She concluded.

"I don't think it's a spirit ability, it should be some kind of skill that he created himself or maybe learned from someone else." Grandmaster said.

"Then now what, shall we watch?" Zhao Wuji asked as he scratched his head in puzzlement.

"Hmm." Liu Erlong looked at Tang Ming with interest as she smirked lightly, "It just happens that I too wanted to know how strong he is."

"The rules of the match are as follows; Tang Ming is not allowed to any spirit ring ability above third ring or he'll lose. As for all of you, as long as you manage to injure him even a little, you all will win."

Grandmaster voice resounded through the battlefield as everyone was stunned hearing this.

"Isn't it too unfair, Xiaogang? Do you have that much believe in your disciple. Afterall fighting against 1-on-1 and fighting 1 against a whole team is completely different, not to mention the seven of them are also geniuses?" Liu Erlong frowned after hearing the rules as he turned toward Grandmaster only to see him shook his head.

Grandmaster looked at Tang Ming as he remembered how prideful he can be. He had seen him gotten into many fight with higher realm spirit master while at Nuoding City just because of his pride. Though every time he came out victorious with his pride even more consolidated.

At this time Tang Ming and the others were standing a few tens of metre apart from each other as they all got in position and summoned their martial spirit.

Tang San took a deep breath as he said to others, "After all the training we have gone through, I don't believe we still don't stand a chance against brother. As long as we act accordingly, we stood a good chance of winning."

Everyone else also nodded their head as they remembered the hellish training Grandmaster have them went through. This also boosted their confidence a little.

Tang San too was reflecting on all of the previous one one one fight that they just went through. He had keenly observed all of the matches with the help of Purple Demon Eyes and from what he observed he knew that in all of the previous fights, Tang Ming wasn't even taking the fights seriously.

But the low requirements of only injuring him to win had given him plentiful of hope. And he knew more than anyone else that if they fought seriously they can even beat a Spirit Emperor easily.

"Begin!" Grandmaster shouted from the distance.

The Blue Silver Grass in Tang San's hand transformed into many vines as they bound themselves on the waist of the other six. He looked toward Ning Rongrong and Oscar as he nodded his head.

"Do it! Everyone Go!"

At the moment Tang San's voice fell, all of them moved.

Ning Rongrong immediately casted her first and second spirit ring boosting all of their strength and agility by 40%. While Oscar started forming many sausages hurriedly.

"Bind!"

Tang San also activated his first spirit ring ability quickly as countless vines of Blue Silver Grass shot out from his hand toward Tang Ming trying to bind him.

Dai Mubai too possessed his White Tiger as his whole body swelled a little as he too dashed toward Tang Ming with a punch while Xiao Wu used Tang San's hand as a footing to jump toward Tang Ming and attacked him with a kick.

Tang Ming too summoned his spear as he was going to parry their attacks only to sense someone arriving behind him. A deep purple light flashed as Zhu Zhuqing, the fastest of them out of nowhere appeared behind him.

After her martial spirit evolved into Nightmare Lynx, her speed is no way inferior to anyone at Spirit King in anyway.

Her purplish black claw drew an icy arc in the air as she attacked toward Tang Ming neck.

Tang Ming was slightly surprised as he didn't think she would appear behind him suddenly but it was still just a surprise as he activated his [Godspeed] and moved his body in an unnatural speed deflecting her attack with his spear as the he he hit her abdomen with the back of his spear. But she quickly dodged it.

He turned around to see a punch and a flying kick just a few feets away from his face. He activated [Hyperactive] for a second as everything suddenly slowed down to a still. He quickly caught the punch of Dai Mubai with the empty left hand only a few inches from his face as he spinned his spear once and hit the sole of Xiao Wu foot with the bottom of his spear.

'Thud!'

A shockwave of air was blasted outward from their collison as everyone else only saw a flash of light as Tang Ming hand moved at unnatural speed and the next thing they saw was Tang Ming successfully blocking the attack of both of them.

Dai Mubai and Xiao Wu immediately pulled back without wasting a second as Tang Ming nodded his head seeing this. Being surprise or stunned during fight was one of the deadliest mistake anyone can make.

Before he can even think more countless vines appeared from everywhere around him as they attacked him consecutively.

Tang Ming dodged a lot of them but after seeing no end of them, he slashed his spear horizontally for tens of time in a second as countless crescent moon like energy slash were sent toward the incoming Blue Silver vines. All of them were shredded into pieces as the crescent slash of energies continue to move toward Tang San who jumped out of the way as he dodged them with the help of his Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track as his figure left afterimages here and there.

Yes, after Tang Ming has achieved the realm of One With the Spear, he can use his spear to send simple energy slash like attack with the help of Spirit Power.

Tang Ming didn't stop at that and continued to slash with extreme speed with his spear in all direction as he sent countless crescent slash of energy toward all of them.
