Douluo Dalu: Blue Lightning Sky Dragon Hammer

"Welcome Host." A mechanical voice said.

Tang Zhen slowly opened his eyes and was blinded by the sun beating down on him. Raising his hand to try and shield his eyes he looked to see a clear blue sky.

"Who was that talking? Host? What in the world is going on?" Tang Zhen looked around and noticed he wasn't in a bed at the hospital.....he was lying on the ground in a forest somewhere. 

Then he heard the voice again, "You have been brought into the world of Douluo Dalu. You died and were brought here. Think of it as Karma."

Tang Zhen's eyes widened. He was brought into the world of Douluo Dalu? He got up and walked over to a nearby lake and looked at his reflection. Staring back at him was no longer the gaunt image of his previous self that he was used to staring at. Instead he was back to being a young boy perhaps 5-6 years of age with black hair and blue eyes that were the color of the sky. A very unique look for sure. He would often look into the mirror or see his reflection in the window and wondered why his life was such a tragedy. His original parents were killed in a fatal accident from a drunk driver when he was just entering high school. Then he was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer. According to his doctor, it was from too much processed foods but that was all he could afford. None of his relatives wanted to take him in. So he died at the age of 18 before his life even started. The only saving grace was distracting himself by diving into anime and comics. Douluo Dalu being one of his favorites.

A blue window suddenly interrupted his thoughts. "Host please pick your Martial Souls." "Wait Souls?"

Looking at the window carefully, there were a lot of choices. Having lost his parents at a young age, Tang Zhen asked the system, "System, who were my parents in this world?" Memories suddenly flooded him. An extremely handsome man with black hair and black eyes and a beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes were looking down smiling at him.

He then sees his parents on the run. His mother's voice full of emotions trying to sound calm as she puts him into a hollow tree, "Stay here my son and be a good boy, don't come out until you hear nothing around you." Sounds of fighting and then silence. After a hours of waiting, he could see the Sun starting to come up through the cracks of the door in the tree, he steps outside wondering where his parents are. After walking for 30 minutes, he sees blood on the ground, and following it he came up on a sight that would haunt him. His parents holding hands huddled together, covered in blood and wounds no longer breathing but they had a serene smile on their faces. He slowly approached, his vision blurring as his breathing became rapid. Once he reached their bodies, he quietly called out to them. "Dad?....Mom?....Wake up....I was a good boy and I stayed in the tree like you told me to...Please say something." He shook his parents harder and harder but no matter how hard he tried, they wouldn't wake up. After a heartbreaking cry from the young boy, he thought back to why this happened.

His father Tang Lei's Haotian Hammer, had an unusually strong affinity with the thunder element. His mother Yu Lanxin, was a prodigy among the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan with her martial soul being incredibly more powerful than the average Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon.

These two characters were not in the original story. What is going on?

"Notice. This is a different world where most of the story characters and events are the same but the Host has the opportunity to change them. The differences are primarily your parents and you. For example, your father Tang Lei was the greatest prodigy of the Haotian Clan but Tang Hao being jealous, framed him for a crime he did not commit and was subsequently banished from the clan. Also in this world the Haotian Clan and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan are at odds with each other due to their pride as the top tool and beast martial souls respectively."

Tang Zhen pondered the information that he was given. After thinking for a bit he asked about his mother and how his father and mother came together.

"Notice. Your mother Yu Lanxin was a prodigy within her clan but due to being someone of common birth she was still not regarded highly by the clan leader Yu Yuanzhen or the other elders. However, one day while she was out hunting for a soul ring, she met your father in the Star Dou Forest badly injured. She helped heal him and after they acquired her soul ring, they left the forest together. After a while, they got closer and eventually got married. Your mother was banished from the clan after Yu Xiaogang who was in love with your mother found out about her relationship with your father and out of jealousy and spite, told his father Yu Yuanzhen."

Tang Zhen was extremely surprised at the revelation that Yu Xiaogang was in love with his mother. That means because of Yu Xiaogang, his parents were hunted down by both clans but there was no evidence since the bodies were cleared. But what does that mean for Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong? Did he still meet them as well? Did they end up falling for that useless trash and subjected to years of torment due to their terrible fate? 

"Notice. You will have to find out yourself." "...Are you serious?" ".....Heh."

A tickmark appeared on his forehead. This system was playing with him. As he looked back at the system window. He decided to honor his parents and chose both the Haotian Hammer and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon. 

"Notice. Initializing merge. Success. Innate Soul Power level 20 activated. Granting bonus ability as a welcome gift pack. Administering character template Uchiha Sasuke. Success. Converting use of Chakra to Soul Power. Success."

Tang Zhen's eyes widened. Uchiha Sasuke? Knowledge of all of Uchiha Sasuke's jutsus and combat experiences flooded his mind. He could now use ninjutsu with the use of Soul Power instead of Chakra and his heart raced at the possibilities. He could create the Chidori and its variations with Soul Power? How amazing is that? He also now had access to the Sharingan.

"Notice. Attempting to combine Uchiha Sasuke and Tang Zhen's affinity for the Lightning/Thunder element, fusion in progress. Success."

Tang Zhen could feel immense power flowing through him as arcs of electricity circled around him. His parents both had extremely strong affinities for the Thunder element(I know it's supposed to be lightning but Chinese donghuas typically say Thunder instead so bear with me.) Combined with Sasuke's affinity for the Raiton element made his extremely potent. Maybe he could make his own adaptation of Darui's Black Raiton and Kakashi's Purple Raiton.

"Notice. Introduction of host to Douluo Dalu complete. Goodbye host."

"Uh system don't you mean talk to you later?"

"Goodbye host."

....Tang Zhen was at a loss. Did the system just leave him? Where is his Golden Finger? He only got the initial welcome pack and that was it?

"System?"..."System?"...

Not receiving a reply, Tang Zhen knew that he was alone now. He felt cheated. He felt like he just received Kakashi's Thousand Years of Death Jutsu. It was an insult as a transmigrator.

Remembering that he had full innate soul power of level 20, Tang Zhen realized that he needed to hunt for some soul beasts. But first he needed to bathe as he was covered in dirt, sweat, and blood. So he jumped into the lake to clean himself.

After a refreshing bath, he got dressed and with a determined look, he set out on his new adventure.

"No matter if I don't have a system to guide me, I will live my life to the fullest in this world. This amazing world filled with beautiful women. Although since the Haotian Clan has secluded itself, it's best if I don't reveal my hammer unless it is necessary."

Deciding to focus on his Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial soul, Tang Zhen headed out to find himself a Thunder type beast for his rings.

"Tang Hao, Yu Xiaogang, Haotian Clan, Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, watch out. I Will make you all regret what you have done to my parents and if that means that I will completely ruin Tang San's path then so be it. For my name is Tang Zhen!"
