Prologue, Douluo Dalu 4: Final Douluo
Based on the recorded history over ten thousand years ago, the Abyssal Realm wantonly invaded the Douluo Realm causing all of humanity to plunge into darkness.
The peak experts within the world of Soul Masters all stepped forward, Generals tenaciously resisting the invaders, before finally vanquishing the Abyss, defending Douluo Dalu successfully.
Records showed that during the great war, Shrek Academy, Tang Sect, Spirit Pagoda and War God Temple along the various legions suffered large casualties.
For this cause, the sacrifices of Limit Douluos numbered in the tens, Titled Douluos in the upper hundreds, while the deaths of generals were countless, going down in history named as the "Realm Guarding War".
Furthermore, the Pavilion Master of Shrek Academy's Sea God Pavilion and Pagoda Master of Spirit Pagoda who was a married couple, both setting down nigh impossible glorious battle achievements in the midst of the Realm Guarding War, becoming heroes of humanity. This was due to their unmatchable martial soul fusion ability, battling with everything they had against the already deity Ghost Emperor of Holy Ghost Cult and Abyssal Lord of the Abyss.
In some obscure parts of history, records that the Pagoda Master Gu Yuena is actually the Lord of Soul Beast, Silver Dragon King, who intended to put humanity in a pickle by destroying the world of soul masters, which would force humanity to return to the time of antiquity from thirty thousand years ago. However, ultimately granting a peaceful coexistence between Humanity and Spirit Beasts in exchange of the mutual destruction of Dragon Emperor Tang Wulin, though the authenticity of this could no longer be verified due to the passing of time.
The passing of ten thousand years after the great war also gave rise to the evolution of Douluo Realm due to the energy reaped from the war.
Comparing to the past, the Douluo Realm is now irrefutably larger and stronger by many times. Rank 99 Limit Douluo is no longer the limit of humans, according to the analysis and experiences of several predecessors. Whether it be human or spirit beast, both are sufficiently able to train up to Rank 120. Spirit Beasts who reached that standard were named by the masses as God Beasts while Humans who achieved Rank 120 were addressed as, Final Douluo.[Note: Ultimate Douluo would probably be for this address, but Sean of UTS has used it to address Rank 99 Douluos]
Despite this, those achieving this stage among humanity and spirit beasts in history are very few. Although they are few, it does not mean they do not exist, like the first God Beast that lived 20 thousand years ago, the Golden Eye Black Dragon King, Di Tian.
In regards to humanity, there has only been six that were recorded in Shrek Academy as legends. These six individuals are three couples, just like the partner of Dragon Emperor Douluo Tang Wulin ten thousand years ago. The six are the remaining members of the Shrek Seven Monster; Time Dragon Douluo Xie Xie, Heaven Fall Douluo Yuanen Yehui, Holy Angel Douluo Le Zhengyu, Starry Sky Douluo Xu Xiaoyan, Star God Douluo Ye Xinglan and Ultimate Destruction Douluo Xu Lizhi.
They had all reached the apex of the Soul Master of what the new Douluo Realm could allow. Though before that, the whereabouts of Dragon Emperor Douluo Tang Wulin and Silver Dragon Douluo Gu Yuena was still beyond comprehension. It wasn't that Humanity and Spirit Beasts alike did not send out large search parties, but the outcome of it could only make one sigh to oneself.
Today, in the heart of the continent is the sacred training ground of all Spirit Masters, because it was where Shrek City sits on, no, Shrek City is of the past, now there is only one seat for the most prosperous and largest city in all of Douluo Continent. The people called it the Eternal Heaven City.
