92 Chapter 91: Escape!

"Ye?! Ye, respond! Whatever you do, don't-" Yu Fei wasn't able to finish what she was going to say as the mysterious girl crunched the soul communicator in her hand into a ball, destroying it easily and without the metal pieces causing any damage to her hand.

Sweat drops appeared on Xiu Ye's face as he looked to his hand to see the soul communicator gone.

'I didn't even manage to see her move!' He narrowed his eyes and let his raised hand rest on his side. 'Her cultivation and physical prowess are beyond mine. As expected of someone at the Soul Douluo realm, she's way beyond my league right now. She'll kill me if I so much as move to attack her. Any weapons, Ryūjin Jakka or Noble Phantasms, would be useless with how fast she moved. She would just cut my hands off the moment I have a weapon in hand, though my regeneration would just regrow it back in a few minutes.'

Not only that, but he could feel her aura... it was the same one as earlier!

Xiu Ye felt more sweat dropping down his face, he retracted his spiritual power back into his body.

The girl's eyes widened and her smile widened and she nodded happily. "Oh, you're such a smart boy. If you hadn't retracted your spiritual power right now, I would have accidentally killed you."

He gritted his teeth at the comment. 'Her spiritual power has also reached the Spirit Domain Realm as well?! Tch. I can't even use my spiritual power to defeat her, hers is beyond mine. No, I can feel hers being at the same amount as mine but much more stable and pure? Shit. Now I have another reason why I need to go to Shrek Academy, I need someone's guidance on my spiritual power's and the Spirit Domain Realm.' He shook his head.

"Who are you?" Xiu Ye asked tensely.

"Me? Oh, so rude of me to not tell." The girl chuckled and her eyes flashed a glint of red, and the entire room turned more darker. "I am Na Nali, a rank 88 Soul Douluo and a candidate for the position of being one of the four Heavenly Kings of Holy Spirit Cult. Oh and don't tell me your name, I already know."

Xiu Ye's eyes widened in shock.

'Heavenly King?!' He could remember enough of the storyline that in the Holy Spirit Cult, there was a hierarchy. First was the Monarch, the true leader of the Holy Spirit Cult. Second came the two Emperors and the third were the four Heavenly Kings. And standing in front of him was a candidate for the Heavenly King position!

He knew that to be a Heavenly King, one should be a Hyper Douluo. So it meant the girl in front of him had the potential of reaching that level of power in the future.

'Fuck! I remember now. Na Nali would be a Heavenly King in the future known as the Darkness Bell Douluo and a girl who had a crazy crush on Tang Wulin, like most female characters introduced in the story.' Xiu Ye frowned, this was one of the reasons why he didn't bother remember everything of Douluo Dalu. The author introduces dozens of beautiful girls to the main character and in the end, he only stuck to one girl. Hell, what really infuriated him was that both Tang Wulin and Huo Yuhao's double love interest plot was almost the exact same thing.

Two girls but they were of one soul, and so they fused together like in fucking DBZ.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

Xiu Ye shook his head and made to stand up with a determined expression and turned to face Na Nali, only to jump back in surprise as the girl is now standing right next to him. He was surprised to see that she was shorter than him by a head.

She coyly grinned and leaned towards his face. "Hey, do you want to play with this big sister?"

Suddenly Xiu Ye felt a sudden desire to say yes and he thought of her as both cute and hot, his heartbeat quicken, he wanted to serve her for eternity.

Suddenly, the Silver Dragon King Sword Pendant within his collar sent a chill through him and a familiar voice entered his ears.

"Big brother Ye..."

Xiu Ye snapped out of his daze, Na'er? He hurriedly called out in his head but there was no response.

His cheeks darkened, not out of embarrassment, but of intense rage. "You..." He growled.

Na Nali widened her eyes in shock. He was able to resist my charm? She smirked. Interesting, she thought as she licked and pursed her lips.

"You are an interesting boy. Despite being ten years old, you have the cultivation of a Soul Elder, reached the Spirit Domain Realm and displayed combat prowess a realm or two above your cultivation. Only a very handful of people could stand equal to your achievements, and one of them is the second most powerful human soul master in the entire world! Hehe." Na Nali shook her head ruefully and flashed Xiu Ye a wide grin.

"You reaching the Spirit Domain Realm at the age of ten is something that no one, in the known history of soul masters, has ever done. Although your Spirit Domain is flawed and unstable, it isn't weak. You just need a couple pointers to perfect your foundation–and I," She leaned into his ear. "am willing to teach you e~verything you need to get stronger." She leaned back and faced him with closed eyes and an innocent smile.

Xiu Ye stared at her indifferently but inwardly he was disgusted and felt the need to call 911.

Lady, no matter how handsome and tall I am that it makes me look older, I'm still a ten year old! Trying to seduce me just made you lose any good impression you have.

"So, what do you say?" She cupped the left side of his face with her hand. "Join me, or..." The unhidden message was clear.

Yeah, no. There was no way in hell was he going to join her. He had to thought about a plan but fighting her would either lead to his death or everyone around him.

So why not escape? Xiu Ye's mind dived deeper into his inner world, searching for a particular sword and hope it was there.

But his inner world has a lot of swords, it would take a while for him to find the one he wanted. So he had to stall.

"I have a question." Xiu Ye said, his concentration split into searching around in his inner world and conversing with Na Nali.

"Hmm. Okay! If it isn't a very personal question and something I really don't know about, I'll answer your question. But after finishing them, you have to answer mine as well." Na Nali crossed her arms, she was amused.

"One, why are you here?"

"I'm on a job. I got asked by my master to lead a group of our people into the city and recruit new blood. Which is good because I really wanted to taste the seafoods made here, people told me that they make a mean fried lobster. Oh! We can go eat out after this!" A peculiar look appeared on her face.

"...Second, how did you not get noticed by anyone?" He ignored what she last said.

"Hm? I went unnoticed?" Na Nali started to giggle. Xiu Ye blinked his eyes in confusion. "Oh you silly boy, everyone likes to notice me. I'm beautiful after all. Ah, but if you meant why people hadn't noticed an evil soul master such as myself, well, we evil soul master have a secret technique that can blend our auras to be like normal soul masters, completely hiding us from our enemies. This is just a basic question."

'Basic? I haven't even known about this though.'

"Lastly, how good are you against fire?"

"Huh?" Na Nali blinked her eyes, confused as to why he was asking about it when Xiu Ye's hand appeared in front of her face.

"Incinerate!"

Boom! A huge blast of crimson flames exploded on Na Nali, covering her and the entire half of the hotel room in a wave of fiery flames, burning everything into ashes.

"Bastard!" Na Nali let out a shriek of fury as her body burned in the fire, her hair and clothes lit up in fire while her skin turned red.

Because of her complete confidence that Xiu Ye wouldn't dare attack her, and her lack of knowledge about his ultimate fire, she had retracted her martial soul back into her body and so she was left slightly more vulnerable, making the attack of Xiu Ye's ultimate fire on her very effective.

It was only due to his ultimate fire that she was hurt, because her body is resilient enough to resist against intense heat and cold due to the nourishment given by her cultivation.

But it was only temporary. As Na Nali's soul power soon began healing her burns and started defending her body against the heat of the ultimate fire.

She snarled, her previous innocent and cute mask gone, "I'm gonna kill you!" An oppressive pressure began to appear in the room as her martial soul and soul rings appeared, making the flames around her weak from soul power suppression.

It had only bought Xiu Ye a few seconds.

But it was enough. As it gave Xiu Ye the chance to trace the sword he needed.

Turning on his heel, Xiu Ye's hands rose up over his head, with a flash of blue light, a katana appeared in his hands, Yamato, the name of the sword and known as the legendary sword that was once wielded by Sparda, who originally created it alongside the sword Sparda and Rebellion when the Dark Knight split his power into three pieces, and was named by him to embody a "god of death".

It is a sword capable of cutting through anything, even the very fabric of space itself. Giving the user the ability to create portals for its wielder to travel through.

And Xiu Ye used it to cut the space in front of him, opening a portal.

Shing

A blue vertical line appeared, dark blue flames sparked around the edges of the two lines as it widened to reveal a dark purple void.

Due to the severity of the situation, Xiu Ye wasn't able to concentrate of a certain location he wanted to go. This made the exit of the portal he made random, there no telling where he would end up in.

'Better than here though.'

Xiu Ye didn't even hesitate to jump into the void, mentally ordering it to close as soon as he entered, dodging the attack of Na Nali by a hair's breath.

Unbeknownst to him however were the cries of his friends yelling out for his name.

"Where am I?" Xiu Ye opened his eyes and let out a breath he was holding in. He adjusted his sword, Yamato, into a fighting stance and observed his surroundings.

The first thing he noticed about his location were the furnitures. A comfy red couch, mahogany crafted coffee table, a medium sized flat-screen soul tv and other appliances.

It was what you could easily find in any suburban household's living room.

'Did I just open up a portal into someone's living room?' Well, wasn't that anticlimactic? He really expected himself to be transported into another world. Honestly, he thought to himself that he would have been transported into hell or the underworld, what with the sword's origin and all.

Xiu Ye didn't let down his guard and used his spiritual power to scan the entire house and its surroundings. He could only sense one human presence in the house and the other in the backyard. The one in the kitchen has almost to no soul power, making him or her a normal human. While the other had the aura of someone at the Soul Grandmaster realm.

Xiu Ye frowned, 'Strange. His/her aura is constantly fluctuating. Like there is an imbalance in her soul power.' He shook his head and relaxed. 'Not my problem though. Right now, I wanna know where I am. I also have to call my friends and tell them I'm okay, or they'll think I'm dead.'

Na Nali's face flashed in Xiu Ye's mind for a brief moment, making his tight grip on Yamato's handle clenched even more.

'Damn that bitch. No one, not even a god, can take my freedom away. This is my life, and my second chance to control my own fate. Just you wait, I'll repay this debt a hundred folds. I'll kill you and destroy that fucking cult of yours.' His eyes momentarily changed, the scleras turned black as ink and his golden pupils dimmed into a eerie yellow shade. The edge of the katana in his hands pulsed in a blue light. He blinked his eyes and it turned back to normal.

Bang. Something broke behind him. Without thinking, Xiu Ye quickly turned around with his katana, only to pause with widened eyes.

Standing in front of him was a middle aged woman with auburn hair and grey eyes, a beautiful face and a voluptuous figure. A terrified expression was on her face as she stared at him, and screamed.

'Ah, shit.' Xiu Ye winced as he heard the sounds of a window breaking, hurried footsteps and a voice yelling from behind.

"Mom! Are you-who are you?!"
