77 Chapter 77: Unlimited Works Industry

"Xiu Ye, do you want to join Tang Sect?" Wu Zhangkong asked after Tang Wulin and Xie Xie sparred. The students are currently sitting down in their respective desks in the class zero's classroom.

A few days ago, he had Tang Wulin, Xie Xie, Gu Yue and Mu Xi follow him into the branch Tang Sect in the Eastsea City and had them tested to enter the sect; all of them passed with flying colors. Sadly however, three out of four of them joined: Gu Yue had already joined Spirit Pagoda and Mu Xi wasn't interested.

Wu Zhangkong has already knows somewhat about Xiu Ye's combat capability: so he didn't have to make him go through the combat test in Tang Sect and beat around the bush, instead, he asked him straightforwardly.

Xiu Ye blinked his eyes, not expecting that question from teacher Wu, and started thinking deeply about it.

Should he join Tang Sect? There wasn't any disadvantages in joining it, after all: they have rich resources accumulated through their wealth and secrets; which can help him create weapons, Mechas, Battle Armors, etc.; their influence also reaches deep to all three continents' political structure; they have deep secret knowledge, and their current power structure stands equal to either Spirit Pagoda and the Federation, or even both.

Xiu Ye nodded his head and said, "Sure. I'll join Tang Sect."

Wu Zhangkong's eyes flashed in surprise and joy, the corners of his lips momentarily turned up into a smile as he nodded towards him before it curled back into a thin line.

Tang Wulin, Xie Xie and Mu Xi threw their arms up in joy as they heard their friend joining the same organization as them. Gu Yue also smiled and clapped her hands for Xiu Ye.

Wu Zhangkong said, "After classes, I'll have you fill out some forms to join the sect and receive two special techniques." He wonders, what kind of progress would Xiu Ye have with the Tang Sect's secret techniques? He wouldn't be surprised if he had somehow broken a record...

However, what Xiu Ye said next made him show a shock expression.

Mu Xi smiled and one arm hugged Xiu Ye, and said, "So, what's the name of the company you're going to make, and where do I sign up?" There was no doubt in her, or anyone in the room, mind that Xiu Ye would be able to create a company; he would probably make it popular and international within a half a decade or so.

Xiu Ye stared at her with a gaping expression. "Wait, you want to join me? Don't you want to take over your dad's work?"

Mu Xi shrugged her shoulders and smirked cheekily. "I would but that doesn't mean I can't work for you as well. With my status/authority/power, I can help you with some resources. Though I can only do that when I–"

"...be the first person to be a shareholder of my company. And one that has the most, except me, shares of the company." Xiu Ye finishes her sentence with a deadpanned expression.

"That's right!" Mu Xi nodded with a innocent wide smile.

'Oh you're good...' Xiu Ye stared at her with hard narrowed eyes while she continued on smiling innocently at him, as if saying "I'm not trying to take advantage of you."

Both Tang Wulin and Xie Xie gulped nervously, as they thought to themselves, 'Man, she isn't the princess of the blacksmith association for nothing!'

This went for quite a while before Xiu Ye rolled his eyes and let out a long frustrated sigh.

"Fine. As long as you get me the resources that I need, we'll be partners."

Mu Xi giggled. "You have my word, Ye. So, what's the cut?"

"5%." Xiu Ye closed his eyes and smiled at her with an adorable face.

Mu Xi didn't fall for it.

She smiled with a darkened expression. "50%."

Xiu Ye's eyebrow twitched and his face darkened, "6%."

Mu Xi giggled fakely and said, "Oh you're so funny, hahaha.... 40%."

"7%!"

"39%!"

"8%!"

"35%!"

Both Xiu Ye and Mu Xi snarled at each other as they butted heads.

Xiu Ye grinded his teeth and growling said, "10%, that's my bottom line. As your teacher, I advise you to choose wisely."

Mu Xi narrowed her eyes with an ugly scowl and thought about it for a brief moment before she huffed and crossed her arms.

"...make it 15% and I'll give you 50% more materials than we normally do with our other sponsored companies."

"Deal!" Xiu Ye quickly agreed.

They both shook their hands, grins splitting their faces.

Wu Zhangkong, Tang Wulin and his friends stared at their students/friends with a deadpanned expression.

"So, what are you going to call your company?" Mu Xi asked.

Xiu Ye grinned and said, "Unlimited Works Industry."

In the girl's dormitory and in a certain girl's room.

Gu Yue sat in her leather comfy leather chair. Her eyes was closed and the sun's light by the window next to her shone on her body, while everything around the room was in absolute darkness.

It was a shocking sight. The room shouldn't be in complete darkness while there was still sunlight coming from the window! It was unscientific.

Yet Gu Yue didn't find it strange. Instead, she opened her eyes and purple light glowed.

Her crystal pair of eyes had changed; pupils turned into slits, irises turned into a unnatural yet beautiful glowing purple that illuminated a part of the room.

Gu Yue soft said, "Beast God, why haven't I been told about this Deathly Hallow Forest?" Her two hands clenched into fists, the elements around her turned violent; the darkness and space in the room started to distort.

She was pissed!

"My Lord, please reign down your anger before you destroy this room and reveal your true identity to everyone." A masculine yet lowly voice sounded out in the darkness.

Gu Yue frowned and nodded. The elements in the room slowly returned to normal.

"My apologies, it's just, my subjects..."

The voice then continued, "I understand your justified anger my Lord, I myself feel the same way. Though to tell you the truth, this is the first for me and the others to hear about such a forest."

Gu Yue raised her eyebrows. "Truly?"

"Yes, my Lord. I think it must be linked to the wide continental memory manipulation ten thousand years ago." There was a clear angered tone in his voice as he said that. The subject of that incident was something he hated in the bottom of his heart.

Gu Yue narrowed her eyes. "So, what you're saying... is that it has something to do with Huo Yuhao?"

"Yes, I am certain."

The room then turned silent.

Gu Yue's face slowly turned into an ugly scowl and the elements, instead of turning chaotic, trembled!

"Huo! Yuhao!" There was so much anger and venom in her voice that, if she didn't have the willpower to control her emotions, she would have unleashed hell onto everything around her. Her true identity be damned!

There was a story about this but it's a story for a another time.

Days passed and the the end of a semester had begun. It was a joyous occasion for all students as it marked the start of their one month long vacation. They could finally relax and forget about studying or cultivating during this time. Despite their status as prestigious soul masters, in the end, they were only children.

After one more trip to the Tang Sect the next day, so Xiu Ye's filled form could be accepted, class zero also began their vacation. Gu Yue and Xie Xie chose to spend their vacation away from campus. While Tang Wulin was dragged off to somewhere by Wu Zhangkong.

As for Xiu Ye and Mu Xi? They both enjoyed their vacation together.
